JAV Career Movements: Miko Mizusawa, Arina Hashimoto and Momoka Kato return to active
Miko Mizusawa 水沢美心 returns as Cocone Nakamura 中村ここね
Miko Mizusawa 水沢美心 may not be a top rank idol, but when she debuted in December 2019, the 21 years old G-cup carnivore was chosen by Soft on Demand to launch a new Ms. SOD label. Last November, she stopped updating her Twitter feed, and finally in MSFH-048, with the tagline graduation memorial special edition 卒業記念特典 SOD made formal her departure from Ms. SOD.
It turned out she actually suspended work after performing for the original contents of MSFH-048. As her decision was immediate, the studio had no chance to make her a befitting graduation video. So SOD tacked on an extra 240 minutes of compilation footage to the originally planned film and released a whooper 380 minutes title. That’s SOD saying respect and thank you to the young idol.
Then recently a new name appeared: Cocone Nakamura 中村ここね opened a Twitter account, and outright declare she is formerly known as Miko Mizusawa. And in the morning of Feb 19, she announce she is off to filming:

It's a cruel thing that JAV idols do to their fans, to tweet she's going to work as he hastily swallow breakfast, how can he focus on his work or classes, wondering how many times and what kind of sex his idol is engaging in realtime.
Unfortunately nothing more is disclosed, which agency? Which studio? These are questions we will be keen to reveal in the coming weeks.
Arina Hashimoto 橋本ありな returns after 4 months
Last year Arina Hashimoto suspended work for a few months. So after FSDSS-127, there has not been another release of JAV’s best leggy idol. Finally new releases are returning. As she’s still exclusive with Faleno, the release schedule is a bit complicated. The raw footage was filmed back in late November, which by industry standard operating procedure, would see pre-order open in Feburary and digital and phsyical copies shipped in March. But Faleno, being a streaming-focussed studio, split a full length (typically two hours) into two parts each running one hour. And then about a month after U-Next members enjoyed the streaming contents, the physical discs are available for public purchase. So part one was already available since Valentine’s Day. And the DVD will be released on March 25th.
An addendum to the story is that she had quietly switched agency. Her previous agency Arrows dropped her from their website. About the same time another agency ACT put her on their roaster. The story behind has been kept quiet, all that can be said is “contractual issue”. This is already a second time Arina developed some contractual issue with her agency causing a temporary hiccup in her career. In general the industry “contractual issues” are not good for an idol’s career development, especially if a contract girl’s monthly release schedule is disrupted. But since her debut in March 2016 (marking a 5 years career next month) she has been a top star with a huge fan base, so she can get away with a bit of leeway.
Momoka Kato 加藤ももか returns to JAV as Sato Nonoka 佐藤ののか
Some time ago, Momoka Kato 加藤ももか suffered a set back that’s quite rare in JAV. She was fired publicly by agency T-Powers. It’s common enough that agencies and studios let go an idol. Behind closed doors, a break up may be amiable, or it may be nasty and cruel, but any open admission of disharmony is very rare. Therefore a public eviction is very humiliating to a performer.
Fortunately Momoka Kato’s career isn’t over. She has signed with another renowned agency Bambi, and changed her name to Nonoka Sato 佐藤ののか, phonetically keeping an association with her former persona. Her new twitter account quickly gained followers including many active JAV idols. But two notable exceptions are former colleagues at T-Powers, and at times co-stars (e.g. MIRD-196) Yui Hatano 波多野結衣 and Hibiki Otsuki 大槻ひびき. Industry insider says the legendary veterans are siding with T-Powers and boycotting the newly renamed Sato Nonoka. Seems the bad air from whatever that caused the break-up hasn’t been completely cleared yet.
