Hailing from the capital region, Kaname has made quite a name for herself in her time with Faleno, her ample bust, dimples and overall cutesy features add to the legend that fans conceive as Kaname Momojiri. For the unitiated, the 21 year old did a couple of gravure shoots with adult publication house Shueisha prior to stepping foot in mainstream AV with Faleno. The latest overhaul gives way to the fact that majority of the talents affiliated with Faleno have been known to have careers cut short abruptly in the industry, either retiring early or moving on to other productions houses or freelance soon after their debut in hopes of getting better work oppurtunity. However, I hope this recent overhaul in Kaname’s career brings more oppurtunities with it. The way she has managed to break free from this curse, the affiliation with Fitch will undoubtedly help her establish herself as a successful actress in the industry. Kaname's reappearance has caused a lot of excitement among the admirers, who are looking forward to her May release. Despite the recent sabbatical, she has maintained her appeal among her followers, who are eager to see Kaname return to the screen.

Kawaii Talent Set To Quit The Industry This May

News coming straight from the headquarters of Kawaii, with no new release since last October the 21 year old broke her hiatus with a release last month. She reportedly shot for her retirement works, which are set to be released later this year in May. I believe by now she has explored almost every AV genre with the studio and there is barely any left to be experienced, just by scouring through her portfolio of JAVs.

"To all of you who have always supported me I have decided to graduate from my career as a porn star with the release of two retired movies in May. It has been two and a half years since my debut in August 2020, and with the support of many of you, I have enjoyed my life as an actress for a longer period than I had expected."

Yui’s story has a similar resemblance to that of Kaname Momojiri, who gets an early mention in this column, both share a common ground on being away from filming for a brief period in the recent past before reemerging earlier last month. While her fans awaited the comeback to witness her perform in a while, Yui however shocked them with this retirement announcement she had earlier made on her Twitter. The headline certainly comes as a shocker for the loyal few of Kawaii who were habituated to watch the actress perform on a regular basis but in the recent past, things had gone downhill for the the 21 year old with Yui putting a break on filming since last October, this had got the fans concerned for awhile

I must admit this since there was no information regarding her comeback, most fans assumed that she may have chose to bid adieu to the industry, since rumors were afloat that Yui had considered being a freelancer. Much to their surprise, she made an unexpected comeback with a March release earlier this month, but tragically, this tenure is also coming to an end as the actress announced her retirement.

"I am very happy to have graduated as an exclusive actress for kawaii*, the company that shot my debut film. I would like to thank all of my fans for their support. Thank you very much for all your support! And I entrusted everything I have done for the past two and a half years to my retired works. I hope you will take a look at them. Please take care of Yui Amane for a little while longer." It's amazing to witness an actress remain devoted to her employer from day one until retirement, as Yui has done for more than two years, her’s is a slightly different case. Her statement implies how grateful she is to have had the opportunity to graduate from the same studio where she made her debut. Finally, she thanked her followers for their unwavering support throughout the years and asked them to look after her a little longer.

In the recent years Yui kind of became Kawaii’s poster girl. Her consecutive releases in May under Kawaii’s banner will mark the end of her career in JAV.

Funstar Promotions Bags Another AV Talent

As the entertainment industry continues to evolve and expand, production houses and talent agencies are constantly on the lookout for new talent to add to their roster. In the JAV universe Funstar is quite a recognisable name. The agency recently made waves for their back to back recruitment of nubile actresses, including the recent acquisition of S1 exclusive Hinata Kaede.

To run a background on Hinata, she made her debut with S1 in August last year at the mere age of 21. Fans quickly noticed her striking resemblance to that of Ria Yamate with her slim waist and ample bust. However, it was not just her looks that caught the attention of fans - Hinata also had a strong social media presence, with a YouTube channel and an affinity for creating viral TikToks. However, her social media presence was not always met with positive reactions from her fans. In a tweet posted on April 4th, Hinata announced that she had transitioned to a new agency, Funstar Promotions, and had changed her name from Hinata Kaede to Hinata Himari. While the reasons for this change are not clear yet, it is likely that the 21 year old is seeking new opportunities and a fresh start in her career. However, Hinata's transition to Funstar has not been without its own set of challenges. According to reports, the actress has been difficult to work with due to her struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts. AV Actress Set To Leave Industry On Occassion Of Marriage

Having spent close to three years in the industry, Earlier this month an AllPro talent made an abrupt announcement via Twitter that she had decided to retire from the AV industry on the occasion of her marriage. It comes as a shocking revelation for the fans of the 33 year old who acknowledged the fact that her journey in the industry was short-lived, but she enjoyed her time and thanked her fans for their support in a statement that could now be accessed on her Twitter.

"Dear all, I would like to announce that I, Riona Hirose, will be retiring as an adult film actress on the occasion of my marriage. It has been 3 years and 2 months since my debut in 2020, and with the support of so many people. I have had a lot of experiences with the support of many people. I would like to thank all of my fans for their warm support and encouragement. I apologize for the sudden announcement. I am sorry to have to make this report so suddenly, but I am so grateful to all of you who have been looking forward to seeing Riona Hirose, even though she debuted a little late for an adult film star. I can't thank you enough for your love and support." cited the actress in a statement which she referred to as a bit clumsy to read.

"Even though I was not able to do as much as I wanted due to the pandemic, I was able to do live performances and variety of shows, and with the support of my fellow seniors, I was able to make it through to the end, even though it was a short period of time. I am sad to see you all go, but I am sure that I will miss you all, but I hope that through my works, you will remember that there was an actress named "Riona Hirose" in your hearts. I will run through the last few days until the final shooting! The release will continue until the summer, so please look forward to it." The SOD exclusive made her debut in the AV industry during peak pandemic, could be that she lost her main job during COVID and decided to switch to AV at the age of 30, which is relatively late for an adult film star to make a debut. Considering her age and label, her debut could be called of as quite uncanny, for a label known for being a popular front for girls to get started in JAV. Riona started off under SOD's mature label, somewhat similar to the kind of movies Madonna produces.

Besides her work in the adult industry, the 33 year old had earlier joined Ebisu Muscats, a famous girl band in Japan, without any prior experience in singing or dancing in hopes of progressing her career. Amidst the pandemic, she managed to cope up with live shows and concerts with the band, thanks to the support of her seniors.

I have been feeling what I said at the time of my debut, that it is truly my calling, for the past three years, and I have been able to run through it with everyone taking good care of me. Thank you very much." Rena's testimony felt like she really had deep regards for the adult industry as she was caught bashing any rumors that defame the industry or any person associated with it in particular.

Rena's decision to retire from the adult film industry has left many of her fans saddened to the point that it has now become hard for her to leave it. However, the 33 year old assured them that she would continue to update her Twitter and participate in fan events and photoshoots post-retirement. "I will be retiring as an "AV actress" for the time being, but I will continue to do some events, photo shoots, and other activities outside of AV. I’d say that her dedication to her fans is commendable, and the void left by her retirement will undoubtedly be felt in the fanbase. Despite her late debut, Rena managed to amass a following and gained recoginition. Nevertheless, Rena's decision to retire and focus on her marriage deserves respect, and her fans will undoubtedly continue to support her in her future endeavors.
