Hey all, back for another month of the sales report. One thing I want to point out before I get underway is that there are seven infographics as part of the report. An actress might be at the top of the charts on one infographic but the blurb for them under a different. Especially when it comes to the graphics with 25 entries, there's just a lot to talk about. So if I can put them under a different one, I often will. With that said, let's jump into this month's report.

Top Actresses

Riho Fujimori is someone I recently watched to see what the buzz was about. I can say she's actually quite enjoyable and I see what everyone's all about now. She's very reminiscent of Yuri Oshikawa for those that are fans of her. Anyway, I pointed that her GES entry was going to be one to check out and I can now confidently say that it is as it is one of the better videos in the series. If you're like I was and not quite sure where to start with Riho, definitely start there.

Mahina Amane is also back on the chart, and quite high up from out of nowhere. She's no stranger to the top of the rankings but she just hasn't panned out the way fellow 2020 S1 debuts Riri and Aka have. This month's increased sales seem to come from her popular eight hour best-of release, her latest trailing behind it. Mahina is one of those actresses that you're just never quite interested enough in to watch but always on the eye for something. With her compilation video being priced the same as her latest release, it's a great opportunity to watch her. Who can complain at 4x the content for the same price? Especially given that her videos don't have plots yet (what's up with that, give her a drama video already), there's really nothing lost in compiling random scenes together. If you haven't seen Mahina yet then it's a great opportunity to check her out.

Chitose Saegusa (now going by Chitose Yuki) is someone who has long since been a favourite of mine and someone who hasn't really made the impact domestically I think she should make. She came back to the industry last year during the pandemic after being retired for three years. Chitose has gotten back to her old self and is performing like she hasn't missed a beat. She's definitely one of the premier BBW in the industry and definitely worth taking a look at if you're not already familiar with her. If you're looking for a video of hers to watch I would recommend the first video, it's one of my favourite so far this year. If you're looking for something a little more fun to check out, consider the second. It's a spin on Uber Eats where Chitose plays a slutty delivery person. Regardless of what video you pick, there is one thing I'm sure of: Chitose is definitely someone to check out.

Momo Sakura is a really great actress, so much so that I think you should be watching her. It seems like the industry is in agreement too as her sales are up quite a bit this past month. I won't take any credit for it, instead that belongs to her latest release. I've been told it's a good video if you can get past the fake creampie (which is really everywhere these days). She's told to be a bit more dominant and I think that sounds great given that she doesn't do it enough and I think she could probably muster something good. Especially with how mediocre her releases have been since her creampie ban lifting, I'll take any opportunity to watch a good Momo video, and hopefully everyone else will too.

Suzu Honjo has a great upcoming release in the Magic Mirror series and is why she's up so high this month. I don't know why it's taken her three years to star in it, you'd think they'd pick their top actresses to star in it sooner. I'm actually kind of glad they left it for a long time because it has given her a lot of time to improve as an actress. Hopefully that means she can give us an incredible performance and make it a memorable film. The series is one of those amateur guys having sex with a pornstar videos except the spin is that they're in a bus with a one-way mirror. It makes it feel like it's a public affair without actually being one. Anyway, I'm sure there are other Suzu fans out there excited for this video so let's hope it turns out to be a good one.

Kanon Kanade and Mizuki Yayoi are both up quite a bit this month. As it turns out, there were a lot of content they were both in that did well. That included both some compilation works as well as new VR. Kanon has been reasonably popular but Mizuki not so much. It's great to see actresses have a turn in the limelight every once in a while, even if it's on the success of other actresses. I imagine that many people will become interested in her after seeing her alongside others they watch, so it's always a good thing to star in videos with others if you're new.

Speaking of Kanon, the other Kanon, Urara Kanon is also up this month. While she shares the S-Cute video with the other Kanon, her best non-compilation video is currently a bit of an older release. The video is a love triangle story co-starring Hina Nanami, so if you're a fan of either or up for an interesting plot, it's certainly something to look at.

Akari Neo is someone I think is criminally underrated. She never gets the spotlight and yet she has one of the nicest asses around, so much so she made my top 10 asses list. This month didn't see her newest releases selling well but instead older content from her. I can't really blame people because Akari's all about that booty. Your standard wife next door kind of videos don't really do her justice and just aren't worth it. It's far, far better to wait for delicious ass videos instead, like the pair above.

Natsu Tojo is also up out of the blue here. I know we've seen her before and it seems like people stopped being high on her. The video above is currently her top selling release and it's not hard to see why. Ichika Matsumoto, Mitsuki Nagisa, Rei Kuruki, and of course Natsu Tojo is a hell of a cast. All four of them are in the top 25 this month and it seems like a no brainer if you like them and are interested in VR.

Kaho Shibuya is a name we really don't see too often on the charts, even if she's only up 17 spots to break the top 25. While she's a full-time cosplayer/streamer these days (and be sure to tune into her stream on Twitch, she regularly streams video games and has been playing DQ XI lately), she was quite the name in her prime, often being on the top 100. She also happens to be one of my all-time favourites. Anyway, she hasn't had new stuff in years and her top solo video is still her retirement video. That video is a bittersweet one, because on the one hand it's her final video and she cries in it but it's also a really good video with some great content in it. If you are looking for something from Kaho to check out (and let's be real, you really should be) then definitely grab that one.

Yumi Kazama also made an appearance on the top list this time having jumped quite a few spots to get there. I'm glad to see Yumi doing well as she's easily one of the greatest of all time. Being in the industry for over 20 years will do that, it's really hard to compete with a career like that. What 20+ years will also do is give you a body that isn't quite what it used to be. You can see from the first cover above (which is one of her top selling releases) that it ain't what it used to be. She's thiccer all right, but that's a very mixed thing; bigger boobs are certainly welcome but her larger belly not so much, and her maturing face could go either way. Regardless, Yumi being way up here is thanks to the second listed video. I've seen a couple entries in the series and can't say it's particularly special but hey, Yumi is still great and all the power to her fans that want to watch it. Who knows, maybe Yumi can make a good performance of this the way some of the others failed to do.

First off with Hibiki Otsuki I'd like to point out her new profile picture. DMM (and R18 by extension) likes to change it up every once in a while. For those that don't look too closely (which is probably most people and I'm the exception since I make these reports), the profile photos come from video covers. This one comes from her Wanz Factory 10 Min series entry, shown above. While I haven't seen every entry in this series like with GES, I have seen quite a number of them (around 50), and this is one of the better entries. Hibiki's awesome personality really shone through and made this a wonderful video. Especially with this added bonus of her competing to outperform her best friend Yui Hatano, it was really a great video. I suppose Hibiki had it a bit easy since she already starred in this series, though it wasn't her own solo entry. If you're a fan of the series or of Hibiki it's easily one of her better videos and worth the watch.

Mio Kimijima is one of those love or hate actresses. I think that's the kind of territory you put yourself in when you have hair quite as short as hers. It's not always quite that short, sometimes it's down to chin level, but I'm sure the boyish style she often has turns away a ton of people. Anyway, her popularity this month comes from older releases so it's surprising to see her doing so well. I think Mio's slim body and short hair give her opportunities to play roles that others can't, which is probably why her top video is a hentai manga adaptation. Mio's no stranger to the limelight but I think a lot of that success came off the back of her performing as much as she did. Gone are the days where she'd have a dozen releases a month, and now it's as low as one or two. Maybe part of that is trying to say safe during the pandemic, maybe part of that is taking a break because doing that much is tiring. Either way, Mio's seeing a brief increase in success that I doubt she can sustain, and I would be surprised to see her up this high again next month.

Top Videos

Saika Kawakita is really crushing it. Everyone knew that she would be popular given her past popularity but this is far beyond what I think people expected. Being number one on the physical sales chart two months in a row is kind of insane to me. It looks like S1 made a good gamble on re-releasing her old content with four of the top 10 spots (1st, 3rd, 8th, and 10th). I'll be watching her very closely to see if she can keep up this success over the next few months or if people are just overly excited to see her back. Especially when we look at other returning actresses, like Asahi Mizuno, Saika is just crushing the competition in ways others could not.

Miu Nakamura is someone who doesn't star in a ton of videos so when she has a release that is good you pay attention. Her release this month is for one of the better Idea Pocket series and certainly something to watch if you don't already watch her. The premise is that she plays the boss and is late at work with a coworker. When he misses the last train home she offers to let him crash at her place. Of course, she does everything she can to make him want to have sex with her, swapping into her lose-fitting pajamas that give him all the temptation he needs. Definitely the best part is when the guy's Face Timing his girlfriend and has to remain composed while the actress goes to town on him. I often don't watch Miu because her videos seem so lame but this series is wonderful and I'm sure this video is worth checking out.

Unsurprisingly we also have Rara up at the top of the list again. Her videos continue to bore me but there's no arguing with how attractive she is. They literally have to do nothing to get you to want that DVD on your shelf. There's not even any point to commenting on them anymore and we'll see you next month with Rara's top release once again.

Yua Mikami and VR seems like a winning combination, especially when it manages to have a plot. So the title claims, she's the busty new employee and one thing leads to another. At the end of the day, Yua is quite nice and this video also topped on R18 alongside another of her videos we saw make the DMM charts last month. You really can't go wrong with VR Yua so if you're looking for a VR film then it's a clear choice here.

This release is definitely something to look at when it's 32 hours long. I've spoken about it before but bang for your buck is a real thing when releases every month are expensive. Saika Kawakita's redebut (in first) is more expensive than something with 16x the amount of content. Sure, her redebut is a special thing and for those that like her or debuts, it's probably some premium content. Still, you can't beat the value of porn at nearly $0.50/hour unless you're getting one of those 100 yen sales we saw from DMM last year.

Kanan Amamiya continues to be a dominant force, even more popular than last month. That's usually something you don't see, an actress gaining significant popularity the next month. One might suggest it's a down month for debuts but considering she's at the top of both the physical and digital sales among all actresses, something tells me Kanan is turning out to be really popular. I guess that means I'll have to check her out later on, hopefully the few months until then is enough for some quality content out of her.

These pair of actresses, Misono Mizuhara and Miki Shiraishi, are Oppaira debuts if I've ever seen one. While it's a little early to tell if they'll amount to anything, especially since E-Body can produce some pretty mediocre content, I can't argue with their boobs. Undoubtedly there will be some who are "just a pair of tits" that make their way into my debut posts later this year and I'm okay with that. If the question is "are just big tits enough", the answer is "sometimes, yes".

Our second place video is a bit of a surprising one, coming from studio High Kara. They're known for doing Caucasian pickup videos with random unnamed actresses and this is another one of those. They're not always no-name actresses and I apologize if I should recognize her, I really don't watch any Western porn these days. Anyway, it surprises me that this one is so popular, those videos rarely do this well. She does have some nice big tits and I'm not convinced that's enough to sell this video, but I guess the results are proving me wrong.

Aimi Yoshikawa is a name we never talk about as she faded into the night when she retired. However, now that we do have a chance I'll take that opportunity to give her the spotlight for a second. She's obviously known for having an incredible rack, I mean just look at that cover. The video is also 12 hours of releases she had for studio Team Zero. I can't say I've watched her Team Zero content, I think her content for other studios was better, but priced quite well at under $1/hour, you really can't go wrong.
