Plot

The narrative was pretty non-existent but the plot as a whole did still have some decent elements to it. Katsuo videos tend to focus on the body of the actress without really caring for any actual narrative. That isn't strictly a bad thing, videos without plot can be good, but it focuses a lot on the rest of the content and I don't think the video did well there (as we'll see below). The video seemed to try for a theme of her being this curvy babe at a bar but she wasn't really picking up anyone when there was only ever one guy. It felt like they just put a theme in there just to have something, especially because the stuff this studio does lends better to interesting settings as opposed to a bedroom. The setting was fun some of the time, like the blowjob in the bathroom stall or just outside of the elevator. And in general, I thought the setting was utilized well during the content to give it some good variety. As much as it felt like they didn't really try to be creative with it, this was certainly a lot better than your standard video with a couple of bedroom sex scenes. One might ultimately complain that there's so much non-sexual content to the point it feels a bit like an awkward image video. Certainly palette cleansers in between scenes is nice but I think more sexual things would be better.

Sex

The sex was not great but probably the most enjoyable aspect of the video. Misato didn't really try to do anything the entire time and it showed. I suppose that's what happens when there's no real reason for the actress to do anything. To some degree that didn't matter when there was a lot of stuff just designed to show off her body and not be anything more than that. For example, she would just walk around and you'd get an upskirt angle and there really wouldn't be a need for her to perform. I found some of it was a bit awkward as they were mixing between a guy playing with her and Misato playing with him all while trying to be artistic about it as an image video, and let me just say, that style was worse than anything individually. ​When things were actually getting down to business though Misato really wasn't good at all, moaning a heavy amount and not really doing all that much. Like I said, this general attitude of "no need to perform" made all of the actual performing quite bad. That all being said, the intercourse visually didn't look too bad. A solid variety of positions and angles, especially utilizing the setting for maximum effect. Sex on a bed, couch, table, or up against a bar counter all came together well enough to make things look good. Even a blowjob in the bathroom stall felt good from that perspective, even if the blowjob itself wasn't good.

Production Quality

The production quality was kind of abysmal. Lower-quality studios like KB tend to do a bad job with this and it shows. For starters there's the obvious fish-eye lens that really skews everything. I know Misato to be curvy, sure, but things just go a bit out of proportion when they have that lens distorting everything. You could really tell around the edges when the doors and stuff were warped from it. The camera angles suffered somewhat of a similar fate as they tried to get interesting angles showing off her body. Of course, they did work sometimes, but then other times they really didn't work well at all and the angle was disorienting. The outfits from Misato ranged quite a bit, from being pretty hot to pretty useless. I didn't much care for the red dress she had on in the middle scene as it covered up too much of her body. Yes, it gave us the ability to focus on her legs and ass, but that still didn't really make it a great choice in my opinion. The other outfits were intended to be sexier and fit that much better. Seeing a sheer, lace top or lingerie just worked out better in my opinion. The lighting was quite awkward the entire time, a yellow tint to all of the scenes and focused spotlights on her body that created a mediocre contrast between well-light and dimly lit parts of the screen.

Overall Satisfaction

Overall the video wasn't good. Fact of the matter is, content for studios like Katsuo Butsusan, Maguro Products, or any similar studio is often not particularly good. I find the blend of content doesn't really work out well, I want either a very strong emphasis on the image video style of content or actual sexual things, not this flip flop between them like they do. Plus, let's not forget how awkward all the camera and lighting is with the fish-eye lens. This style of video is all about the eye candy and it makes it so much more awkward when other studios are way better at it than they are. It's quite possible that part of my disdain is due to me not being a huge fan of Misato, and that if this instead starred a curvy actress I enjoy more (and KB has had a lot of fantastic actresses working for them such as Touka Rinne, Arisa Hanyu, and Yuri Oshikawa, just to name a few), I might enjoy it a little more. I shouldn't complain too much though, because at times Misato's curves certainly did come across. I still wouldn't expect it to be great given the ratings I generally give to Katsuo or Maguro videos but every bit helps. I don't think the video was awful but it wasn't particularly good.
