When it came time to decide on who should be the actress of the year for 2020 I had no trouble whatsoever. The winner in my mind was clear as day. From the beginning of the year till the very end, Kurea Hasumi has been pumping out hit after hit. 2019 saw her starting to return to her former glory and in 2020 she exploded. It's no secret that her releases in 2017 and 2018 were rather dismal, to say the least, mostly consisting of multi-actress films or videos with lesser-known studios. But perhaps she switched agencies because starting in 2019 she began filming for more well-known studios and working with more renowned actresses. All this led to her getting her groove back and settling into her signature self once again. She rose from the ashes like a phoenix and blessed us with one of the best years any single actress has ever had. As such I wanna use this post to go over my personal favorite films of hers from 2020. Whether you're into collaboration films, vanilla releases, or more plot-driven titles there's something here for you. 

Collaboration Releases

MIAA-317

"A Double Female Detective Temptation"

By far one of the best pairings of 2020. Kurea and Mao were made for each other. They're chemistry is electric and they feed off each other's energy so well. A perfect example of this is in this film, MIAA-317. The plot casts the pair as two fierce and seductive detectives who use they've best assets to try to break a man into confessing to a crime. It's a very entertaining plot that makes for one hell of a memorable watch. In fact, it's one of the best films of the entire year. The film nails every single aspect. The sex is incredible with tons of intense threesome action that is well balanced between the two. Complimenting the intensity is their equally dominant acting. Their performances will leave you breathless. And of course they look absolutely amazing as well. This is a perfect example of taking a creative plot and executing it to near perfection. It doesn't get much better than this.

MIAA-320

"Big-Ass Double Massage Therapists"

Kurea and Mao weren't finished yet as right after MIAA-317 they released yet another banger of a film. This time they take on the roles of two seductive masseuses working at a massage parlor giving their clients a little more than a traditional "happy ending". It's a rather simple premise for sure but one that is executed brilliantly. One of the biggest reasons this film triumphs is the sheer eye-candy on display. If you're an ass man then you'll be heaven here. The outfits are also incredibly sexy and suit them very well. Just like the previous film, their acting is superb. Enthusiasm is off the charts and the chemistry between them is stellar. And of course the action here is incredible with loads of intense threesome sex scenes. Some cumshots are a bit lackluster and the outercourse action can be a little repetitive. Beyond those slight issues though this film is a slam dunk. This film absolutely lives up to it's cover and title.

Akari Mitani and Kurea are a really wild duo. In fact, Kurea Hasumi even helped to give performance lessons to Akari, and it shows. This wonderful film was directed by one of the best in the business in Nao Masaki. The premise is really very simple as it's just Akari and Kurea drinking, getting a bit tipsy, and having some intense sex as they fuck the actor's brains out. Hell, even Nao gets in on the action a little bit in some scenes. It all makes for some incredibly passionate sex scenes ripe with threesome goodness. The intensity cannot be understated here as it gets off to a fiery start and never lets off the gas. Contributing to this is their high-octane performances. Both are extremely enthusiastic, full of energy, and are super engaging. They got some great chemistry together too. All this makes for one of the wildest rides you'll see all year.

"If You Can Resist Kurea Hasumi And Yu Shinoda 's Teasing, Then You Can Cum In Their Pussies!"

The duo of Kurea and Yuu easily saw the most releases out of any pairing in 2020. They didn't get off to the best start actually as their first release together, MIAA-021, was an underwhelming disappointment back in 2019.  However since then they've been firing on all cylinders and this release here is a terrific showcase of their magic together. Most of you reading this know about this series already but the quick rundown is that they're tasked with pulling in "random" guys for a chance to have sex with them. If the guy lasts 10 minutes then he gets to creampie them. A key component to this series is acting and they definitely nail it here with terrific engagement and boasting fun and flirty energy. They each look pretty great as well with some nice outfits to boot. The sex is a bit lackluster though which is unavoidable with this series sadly. All that said this is still an excellent film and one that lives up to the hype from this dynamite pairing.

"To My Surprise, I Spent Christmas Eve With My 2 Lady Bosses"

Tis' the season for some festive booty. This is the latest film to make my list as it's yet another very solid outing from the wonderful duo of Kurea and Yuu. Going by the title you can probably guess what this film is about. The premise centers around a man spending Christmas eve with his 2 female bosses in the office. They take advantage of the opportunity and well, fuck his brains out. I'll admit I wasn't super crazy about this film compared to the rest of my list but it's still very solid. The action here for the most part is terrific with loads of threesome scenes but the last scene feels unneeded honestly. Plus the pacing is a bit off as the middle section is quite slow and really underwhelming. Also the camerawork isn't the best as there's some really odd angles taken that leave you scratching your head. But as expected their performances are outstanding and they look stunning. Still a great film to celebrate the holidays.

"Real Creampie OK! Double Nipple Tease Special"

The Kurea and Yuu train rolls on with yet another release this time centering around nipple play. First things first, what a nice cover. Very eye-catching and easily grabs your attention. Now there's really no central plot to this particular film as the entire focus is just on nipple play achieved through various sex scenes. One of the best aspects is the fact that every single scene features the pair together. As such expect lots of threesome sex scenes which are mostly pretty great. I say mostly because the final scene which centers around a handjob and paizuri is really underwhelming and ends the film in a disappointing fashion. Also, this film's production feels a bit...strange. There's no rhyme or reason to the settings as scenes take place in a hotel room, club, and cafe. Camerawork and lighting feel a bit off today but at the very least they each deliver solid performances. Still a decent film all around but could've been better.

"Teasing Him, And Then Hitting Him With Some High-Speed Piston-Pounding Action"

Sometimes you don't really need a fancy plot. All you need is Kurea Hasumi doing her thing and draining the soul out of some guys. That's exactly the premise here for this film. It features 3 different scenes essentially handing the keys to Kurea and just letting her go full nympho mode. It's truly a sight to behold. I don't even know where to begin with this masterpiece. For starters, the production values are top-notch with superb lighting, excellent camerawork, and a super sexy wardrobe that perfectly suits Kurea. In addition, the action is just absolutely incredible. There's no filler here at all as you get to see Kurea fuck these guy's brains out over and over with multiple cumshots and some very hot doggystyle and cowgirl all with a high-octane intensity. Couple all that with one of her best performances to date that perfectly showcases her raw enthusiasm and fierce energy and you've got a film for the ages.

I'll admit that nipple play is definitely not a theme or fetish I enjoy. Despite that though this film still provides some great value and is yet another solid addition to her shining 2020 library. Now I'm not 100% certain on what the exact setup here but from what I can presume the plot centers around a man looking for someone(maybe his girlfriend) when he runs into Kurea. She offers to take him inside and share some drinks. Afterward, she moves in on him and turns him into her personal fuck toy. All that matters is you get to witness Kurea fucking this guy's brains out and making him cum over and over. The sex here is relentless featuring some outstanding position variety with little filler to get in the way. Bolstering this incredible action is Kurea's phenomenal performance. Kurea Hasumi gets to take on the role of "homewrecker" here in this film, as well as just play herself essentially. All this makes for one of her most daring and exciting films from 2020. The plot is based around a man who learns his next-door neighbor is none other than his favorite JAV actress, Kurea Hasumi. She begins to seduce him and naturally, he can't resist. They then proceed to fool around and have sex all the while trying to keep this a secret from his girlfriend. The plot is very well directed with excellent pacing and production values. Kurea is such a good fit for this role and it shows. She's devilishly flirty and loves to tease the poor fellow throughout. As you'd expect her performance is top-class as she boasts exceptional enthusiasm all with a dominant attitude. Plus the action is superb with fantastic sex scenes although the footjob scene is a bit mediocre. If you're a fan of more plot-driven films then this is definitely for you.

Now if you're looking for something a bit different then look no further. This film does a splendid job of showcasing Kurea's wider range of acting ability as she plays a very different role than she's used to. Here she takes on the role of a married elf girl. Her next-door neighbor is a sleazeball who ends up getting inside her apartment and eventually, inside her as well. She's resistant at first but soon starts to enjoy it which leads up to the final scene of her locking the husband out while she's having sex with him. NTR is a major component here which I usually loathe but I appreciate the unique take on it with Kurea's role and her performance bolsters it for sure. She does a spectacular job at playing the submissive role only to then at the very end unleash her inner nympho side. Not to mention the sex is plentiful and full of great memorable scenes. Plus her look is very nice and as a whole, the film is expertly produced. 

Final Thoughts

In closing, I firmly believe that Kurea Hasumi had the most high quality releases of any actress in 2020. There's far more than just these ones here that I didn't have time to go over. She is by far the most consistent performer in JAV right now as well. You know when you watch a film of hers that she'll at least deliver a solid performance, even if the film itself is a dud. And when it comes to playing a dominant role there is no one better than her. And going beyond her acting talent her figure has never looked better as she's perfectly fit and in the best shape of her career. If by some reason you've neglected Kurea this year then you owe it to yourself to check her out right now. You will not be disappointed by any of these films. I guarantee it.
