Oppaira here back with another New To Me post. You might be surprised to see it as number 9 but I've done quite a few of these on another blog site I was using before. Another reminder that I'll be taking a look at 2020 debut actresses in this series later on in the year. Anyway, without further ado here's my first impressions about seven actresses.

Yuka Sato

Yuka Sato was someone who fell through the cracks last year. She debuted late into the year and typically speaking I tend to not watch debuts that come so late. I prefer giving them some time to get some experience and with an October debut that just wasn't the case. I do like the idea of making sure none of the late debuts slip through the cracks so making sure I follow up the next year is a great idea. I'll probably follow up much earlier next year but better late than never.

Physically Yuka was decent but not quite as nice as I had hoped. The cover was shopped just a little bit, enough that it was noticeable but not enough to be that upsetting. She's clearly pretty and busty so it's hard to dislike her. Still, I'd say that she just didn't stick out that much to me. I think with a good amount of actresses having an appearance like this: busty but not huge and a younger/cuter appearance, I just don't find myself enjoying all of them. I think it isn't so much that I dislike them so much that I gravitate more toward my favourites. She reminded me a ton of Aika Yumeno and I'd just rather watch Aika every time.

From a performance standpoint she wasn't particularly good. She did actually remind me of Aika Yumeno here as well. She was much better during non-intercourse parts because once sex started she just went totally submissive and moaned a bunch. I wouldn't say the non-sexual parts were great but they were definitely noticeably better. Definitely felt like she was still new to the industry, and she had about a dozen videos prior to this.

Rating - C

I'm not opposed to watching her again but she wasn't particularly good. It's one of those unfortunate scenarios where her being new really shows, and in a bad way. Watching her again is really going to depend entirely on either her massively improving or seeing something so good I have to watch it.

PS. Yuka changed her name to Yuyu Monami but I think most still know her as Yuka and the above video was released under that name.

Miu Nakamura

Miu Nakamura has been someone on my "to watch" list for quite some time now. She was a minor celebrity (she had starred in a few movies) before her debut and people were really hyped for her. It's evident too because she has inconsistent releases and manages to do well each time. It's rare for someone to just show up randomly to do videos, especially when she's been working with S1, Idea Pocket, and Moodyz, all studios that generally have exclusive rosters. It really shows just how popular she is and how much leverage she has to do things on her own terms. Anyway, on to the rating...

Physically Miu was just okay. She had a nice slim body but she lacked any real curves. Both her ass and tits weren't particularly nice and I must admit that it's kind of rare for both to be so mediocre. I found her face to be not as nice as well. Her eyes were bigger than I expected and covers seem to downplay them a lot. I think maybe just the seductive look she gave made me go a bit wild, and I liked her face less than I thought I would based on the cover. I think she also looks a bit more mature on covers, she seemed younger than I would have guessed in the video. I still didn't mind her face, she looked nice at times, especially when her hair was messy. I think to say she's awful physically is a stretch but underwhelming is a good way to put it.

The performance from Miu was decent. I think it's clear that she has an idea of what to do but isn't comfortable having sex. I can imagine there are huge differences between regular acting and porn and I think this really shows. I can't say how good of an actress she is outside of the world of porn but in porn she clearly has some limitations. I felt like Miu let the male talent lead the entire time and just totally drive everything. This isn't to say that it's completely wrong but that I would enjoy seeing her grind while on top or something.

Overall - C

Miu doesn't strike me as someone particularly special. Being able to dictate her releases isn't great for fans, in fact in three years she's only released a dozen videos. It's really unfortunate that she's so inconsistent and it makes it hard to fully enjoy her. Maybe some people might like less constant releases because they don't have to watch them all the time but I find the once per month to be a good amount. On the same note, releasing infrequently also limits her in other ways, including being able to resist branching out to different genres as well as not having enough opportunities to develop her skills. I would have expected someone with three years to perform better but when you consider it's only a dozen videos then it's not so surprising. The jury is out on me watching her again and I feel like all these reasons make me quite hesitant. I'm open to watching her with the right theme but if she just keeps doing what she's doing I suspect maybe becomes no.

Sakura Miura

Sakura Miura is someone that has been recommended to me a few times. Given that she's slim and busty she seems like my type, so it seemed like a no brainer this time around.

Physically Sakura was solid. She's decently pretty but I think her tits are what stand out. In particular I think it's that she has a really slim body so they look particularly big on her as opposed to just being generally huge. Her tits reminded me a lot of Aika Yumeno and Saki Okuda's, tits that appear to be much larger due to the size of the actress. They looked quite nice on her frame and had a lot of jiggle while on her back. I found the rest of her body a little underwhelming to be honest. Her ass didn't strike me as anything noteworthy and I think her being quite that skinny wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not saying I hate skinny girls but there is a point at which they're so skinny you start to wish they had a bit of meat on them.

The performance from Sakura was not half bad. There were some signs of good stuff from her here and there but there were also some awkward expressions that made me think she felt a bit uncomfortable. The sex also seemed kind of mediocre, like she wasn't putting in enough effort but her body did enough talking to make it still enjoyable. I do think her performing has room to grow and I've seen some behind the scenes stuff that makes me think she'll continue to improve. Considering she has only been in the industry for three years I'd say I'm not too concerned, even if I do wish she was a bit better at this point.

Rating - B

Sakura doesn't jump out as someone I'm crazy about but I can see myself watching her again at some point. She's one of those actresses where when the right video comes along I'll be all over it.

Karen Kaede and Minami Hatsukawa

Beauty Venus 7 turned out to be an interesting case for New To Me because I wound up watching a video with two actresses I had never seen before, Karen Kaede and Minami Hatsukawa. On top of that it was also the second time I'd seen Miru Sakamichi, as I had pointed out might be the case when I first watched her. BV happens to be really great when it's good so I had high expectations coming into it. I'm really not surprised I watched this video, I just needed some people to tell me it was good and I'd be happy to watch it. Being totally honest, a single gif of two actresses making out was enough to convince me.

Physically I'd say I found Karen and Minami relatively equal. BV tries to find actresses that are physically similar in their series so it's unsurprising that I felt that way. I think maybe I found Karen a little bit prettier, she has a unique look to her face that makes her appear a little more mature (which I like). I generally didn't find them all that attractive though, I tend to prefer a more mature look than they had. I found them pretty much equal otherwise, tits, ass, and body. Speaking of which, neither of them were curvy so that also wasn't the best. Sure they have some nice slim bodies but pretty much everyone at Idea Pocket and S1 has that kind of body.

From a performance standpoint they were both okay. You could see them enjoying themselves and having fun but at the same time I felt like they were quite reserved. I expected more engagement between each other and generally higher levels of passion and enthusiasm. Maybe I'm just spoiled from BV5 where there were wonderful actresses in Aika Yamagishi, Minami Aizawa, and Arina Hashimoto. Comparatively the performances here were quite weak, but I think comparing them generally they were alright. They did interact with each other, they did smile, and it really wasn't half bad.

Rating - D (for both)

I'd honestly give them both a D. While I concede it's a bit difficult to separate them when it's content like this I also recognize how much more enjoyable Miru Sakamichi was compared to them was. I gave Miru a C last time and I think I enjoyed Miru more than them. I think I enjoyed Karen slightly more than Minami, so it might look like a D for Minami and a D+ for Karen, but I definitely didn't enjoy her significantly more. Both were ultimately not my cup of tea and I would be surprised if I became fans of them. I will note that I said the same thing about Minami Aizawa after watching her in Beauty Venus 5 and went on to become a huge fan of her, so there's always a chance I'm wrong.

Waka Misono

Waka was someone I've been somewhat interested in for some time. Covers suggested she had a bit of thiccness to her and some good variety so I felt like it was more of a when than an if. When her GES rolled around I knew it was time. GES (short for Girlfriend's Elder Sister) is by far my favourite series and I've seen every single entry. Since I already knew I was going to watch it being able to use it for this post was a nice bonus.

Physically I think Waka is okay. I found I wasn't as attracted to her face for some reason, not sure exactly what it was. Her breasts were a decent size and fairly full although I wasn't a huge fan of their shape. I think their shape was guided partially by her body size so it feels like they were only that big due to some excess weight. I wouldn't say I found her weight to be uncomfortable by any means but you could tell her boobs would probably shrink if she lost some weight. I found her ass to be quite nice, I'm not about to go tell everyone about it but I'd definitely like to see more of it. I think coupled with some thick thighs it looked quite nice.

From a performance standpoint I wasn't particularly impressed. She came off very average to me and it felt like she didn't exactly understand how to vary herself. She had one of those constant expressions for most of the film and I felt like she should have done better considering the plot of the film gave her a lot of opportunity to work with. I think some better expressiveness at key points like walking in on the boyfriend, almost getting caught, or actually getting caught would have made a huge difference. I did appreciate her ability to squirt though and it felt like she wasn't trying to and that it just happened. I also appreciated her casually swallowing, it felt a bit wrong but I liked that she just did it without thinking.

Overall - B

I do think I'm going to watch her again but I'm not chomping at the bits. It'll happen eventually but I'll let it happen when I'm ready. The fact that she happily swallowed and squirted nicely are huge benefits to her.

Mana Sakura

Mana Sakura is someone I've meant to watch for a while. She seems to be reasonably popular and keeps getting recommended to me. I know she has a duo video with Ai Uehara that people rave about though I did try to watch a solo video this time around. I've seen some clips highlighting her ass and it's honestly about time I watched her.

Physically people were on the money about her ass. Wow does she ever have a nice ass. It's not my favourite ass of all time but I could see myself putting it in my top 10. It's really big and round and fits nicely on her small body. Speaking of which, her body is quite nice with it being thin but reasonably toned. Again, I think that makes her ass stand out a bit more. Her boobs were okay, they're not huge but they're still big enough to enjoy. I also found Mana a little on the cute side and I found myself enjoying some of the blowjob action more as a result. I think maybe a little more maturity with the cuteness might be a good thing, she's 27 now and the video was shot five years ago. There aren't a ton of actresses that still come off cute as they age and from recent photos that seems to be the case.

The performance from Sakura was a little underwhelming. I wouldn't say she was good but she wasn't bad either. She had some fleeting moments where her performance was good, especially in the scene in the bedroom. However, on the whole, I felt like Mana wasn't as good as I was hoping she would be. I do accept that the video is five years old so it wouldn't surprise me if her performing skills improved since then. I think ultimately it felt like Mana wasn't good at being dominant the way this video needed her to be, especially with all the outercourse action like footjobs.

Rating - A

I actually quite enjoyed Mana all things considered. I thought she was quite enjoyable physically and that ass really is something. I'm willing to take a gamble that her performing skills have improved since then, and even if they haven't that ass is worth watching again. I was wrong once before on my assessment of Nami Hoshino (who also has an amazing ass) so I'll be optimistic about Mana and say that I will watch her again.

Nana Ogura

Nana Ogura is someone I've been meaning to check out for a while. I know she's historically been quite popular but she was before my time. Nana retired right around the time I started really getting into JAV. I find it harder in general to get into retired actresses so I'm mostly just slowly chipping away at great actresses from the past that I should watch. Nana was someone I actually made some gifs of for an event a while ago which gave me enough desire to watch her.

Physically Nana was alright. She does have a bit of a cute side to her which I appreciated. She wasn't the curviest but I think her curves stood out a decent amount because of her size. She came off fairly petite, particularly from some thin limbs and being skinny, so just anything being there was enough to make it pop. Those types of bodies aren't my personal favourite but I don't know anybody who actually dislikes a body like that. Simply put: not my favourite but I won't complain.

Performance-wise Nana was pretty good. Vibrant and cheerful and I think the video really set her up quite well. Not nearly as good during sex but that's kind of the way it is. I think also the plot gave her much more opportunities to be bubbly so I wasn't surprised to see her performing better during them. I think a good amount of enjoyable plot really serviced her well. With her providing some premium service to the customers it really created something nice.

Rating - B

All things considered I wasn't totally sold on her but I did still enjoy her. To me there just wasn't anything that stood out. Yeah the performance was good and she's alright physically but I need something a little bit more to go crazy for an actress. Nana strikes me as someone I'll try again at some point but with the sheer number of actresses I watch there just isn't room for everyone.

Best In Class

Sakura Miura had the nicest tits. There were a lot of actresses with breasts fairly similar to hers, F or G cup and fit well on a slim body. I think hers stood out just a little more than the others.

The best performer was Nana Ogura and unsurprisingly the best performance turned up in the best video. I tend to value good performances quite a bit so an easy nod for Nana with her performance. She was more lively and vibrant than the others which I always love to see. I think Nana Ogura's video just barely edged out Beauty Venus 7, which is still a good video. I may have made it seem like it wasn't good but it is definitely good, it's just not as good as BV5 which is among my top 25 all time videos.

Although Minami Hatsukawa and Karen Kaede both tied for the lowest score I think I liked Karen just a touch more. Something about Karen's face is a little bit more enjoyable. Thus, Minami Hatsukawa is the actress I'm least likely to watch again. That being said, I'll probably eat my words a few months from now when I watch them each again. As I pointed out, I said the same thing about Minami Aizawa and now I really enjoy her, so it wouldn't be surprising if my opinion changed on them. As a reminder, a D rating doesn't mean I'm opposed to watching them, just that I don't plan to at all. The right circumstances could still make me watch them.

Saving the best for last we have Mana Sakura. I found her the prettiest and to have the best body and ass as well. She had a really nice cute look going for her and seeing random photos of her she still looks great. I really loved her ass, man was that something special. Especially with a bit of thiccness to her body (compared to most of the actresses) it really accentuated it amazingly. Those combined with some decent performing push her to the top. I haven't seen her again yet but there are already videos I'm eying so it's just a matter of time. There's a very good chance I'll check out her duo with Ai Uehara that people keep recommending.
