Old JAV Stars Today: 2021

It’s easy to get caught up with whose hot and new but what about our old favorites. How are they doing now, years into their career. From big names to smaller ones, let’s see how some of these veterans of JAV are doing today.

Julia

First up is the ever lovely Julia, one of the most recognizable face and figures in the business. Things have sagged a bit for the seasoned actress; both physically and popularity wise. She’s gotten older and her sales have dipped. When she left studio Oppai (or was dropped as some speculated) fans began to wonder if we are seeing the beginning of the end of her career. If anything, her dip proved to be the boost her career needed. Julia is aging like fine wine. With her looks and persona, she will slide right into the milf genre. Personally, a more milfy a mature Julia is good in my books. She has also been on a tear recently. The last half of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 in particular. Spoilers but one of her videos will make it to my Best of 2021 list. She has really seemed reinvigorated in those stellar releases. If this is the backend of Julia’s career, I welcome it.

Asahi’s return was much like Minori’s. A very beloved actress returning with a bigger figure and with Madonna no less. Unlike Minori, I’m liking her return much less so far. She’s looked pretty lethargic and disinterested in my opinion. I'm not a big expert on her but Asahi seems to really thrive in aggressive or domineering type of roles, almost femdom like. Madonna is really doing her no favors with all the submissive roles they are giving her. Hopefully like Minori they start giving her better suiting titles. That or she should leave for a studio who is a better match for her talents.

It’s mostly business as usual for the JAV legend. Aside from a health issue during this year with her face (which you may notice something off in her more recent videos), she is mostly the same hard working actress as ever. Which is a shame because Iori has aged finely in her later years. I still prefer Iori from the middle of her career but modern Iori is not bad at all. She’s much more stylish and is in the best shape of her life. Her butt looking much more muscular as a result too without losing too much of its size. The best of both worlds. At this point in her career Iori can coast until the end and I will still be there for all of it. But I’m hoping her career gets a jolt of energy and she gets back to making more regular releases and more of them.
