Oppaira's JAV Debut Preview - July 2024 ft. Alice Hana, Hanna Aigama, and Suzu Aikawa

It's that time again, time to check in on debuts. It's time to start watching them which means it's time to really start getting serious with them. With that in mind let's go see who is debuting this month and who has stuff worth watching coming out.

We’ve seen what S1 is capable in the past year or so and Alice isn’t that. Sometimes I have to remind myself how incredibly lucky we’ve gotten recently. Not everyone is going to knock it out of the park like we’ve seen and that’s okay. Alice still seems decently busty with a nice figure, and if I’m being honest reminds me of Erika Ichigo from last year. I’d be lying if I didn’t say she doesn’t have that immediate spark others do, but sometimes an actress is more than meets the eye. There’s a good amount of squirting in this one, more than enough to make me think she could be a real champ in that department. S1 already has Unpai who I think is very good at squirting and who knows, maybe Alice can compete.

Hanna is someone I am surprisingly excited for despite not being my typical jam. That’s because Hanna speaks fluent English. She was born and raised in America and you don’t see that basically at all. Remember when we were crazed over June because she spoke English? Now imagine someone who is ethnically Japanese and speaks English, and not only that but uses it in the trailer. At this point you should stop reading, go watch the trailer, and come back. Okay, now that you’ve seen it, are you with me on this being exciting? Sure, there are plenty of others who are Japanese and know English, like Ai Hongo, but Ai never really used it to the extend Hanna is here. Her body certainly isn’t bad, it certainly isn’t what I normally go for but the English makes up for it in spades. I’m excited to see what the future holds for her because E-Body looks like more of a stepping stone. She won’t get that lesbian sex she spoke about there but I’m thinking she’ll dip after 3-4 videos and go freelance, which means if I wait until the end of the year I might find something special. I have a feeling I’ll cave before then, especially if she’s still doing the fluent English bit, but either way I am very excited for her, enough to put her in the definitely column.

Idea Pocket does nurse videos fairly well and I think this will probably be the one I watch. It goes without saying that until I actually watch the video nothing is set in stone until I actually watch a video but this is the best we’ve seen out of Nozomi and is definitely good enough. I watched nurse videos from both Rio and Sayaka last year so we were 2/2 for watching nurse videos from Idea Pocket debuts, and I’d be happy if Nozomi’s was just as good as either of theirs.

Himari was obviously going to be on my list, Q cup is just an instant yes from me. I’ve been hedging that she would get something more interesting by the time I needed to watch her and Moodyz came through with this one. Cheating on your girlfriend with her sister is an S tier plot and even though Moodyz isn’t that great at it I will happily take it as my first Himari video. You won’t get to see the actual review of her until 5 months from now but you can bet that it’ll be coming.

Just like how Himari got an S tier plot so too did Hibiki with her konbini theme. I absolutely love that theme and it’ll definitely be the one from me. As I’ll double check below, I should still be on track that the likely actresses all need to get reviewed for me to meet the quota, so I’m happy to check out Hibiki’s July release and start crossing them off my list. I’ve got to review at a rate of more than one per week now so I might as well get going on it.

While it’s perhaps a bit early to watch a debut at just her third video I’m also not upset by it. Marina looks cute and she’s got a plot I can get behind. This is exactly the narrative I watched last year from Yuri Manase, one that I enjoyed quite a bit. While a good portion of my enjoyment there came from Yuri’s performance there’s no telling how good or bad Marina will be until I watch her. Again, I need to get a move on the reviews and I think it’s always a great idea to watch once I get to “good enough” so that I can pace myself, otherwise I’ll just start hating myself when I have to do three debut reviews a week.

People who know me know that I quite frequently ask around for recommendations. They also know that despite my preference for large, natural breasts, I'm willing to watch just about anything. That's how we landed here at Kanae Yumemi. She looks like a decent mature woman and despite what looks to me like fake boobs she has a lot else going for her. She got recommended to me and that's honestly enough to tip the scales. Go watch the trailer for this one because holy hell does it look hot. Seriously it's the best trailer I've seen from a debut this year, by far. I'm not saying I'm for sure going to watch it but hot damn am I intrigued.

Do I think the video looks great? Not particularly. Is Sara still one of the top debuts for me to watch? Yup. This is a great month for me in terms of releases that are worth watching. This one from Sara feels like it teeters the line given that Sara is the initiator. While there are certainly others I would put above it, her August release doesn’t look good and I’d rather knock Sara’s out of the way sooner rather than later given that she’s a guaranteed watch for me. If I’m watching once a week and looking at some of the others then it seems like I’ll have the September release to peek at before I commit to this one, but this is probably still good enough.

And keeping up with last month here is my tierlist once again.

First off I’m at 14 in the top two tiers and I should be at 18 now which means quite a few in the lower tier will end up being watched at this rate. Probably there are some not mentioned on the tierlist at all that I will end up watching, I know some friends have been recommending Hime Hayasaka to me. I have no doubt about being able to find enough actresses to get to 31, it’s just about how many of them I’m truly excited for.

Secondly we can see two actresses who were listed as retired last month are back in action now. This is not an uncommon trend for debuts that there’s a brief hiatus and then they come back. It’s never a good sign but it happens more than I would like to see. We’ll have to see exactly how things go from here on out but so far I’m overly concerned.

Lastly I haven’t quite decided how I will manage the tierlist as I start reviewing. It’s not the first time I’ve managed something like this for debuts but I don’t know if the suspense is worth it or not. It’s not like I’m hiding who I am planning on watching but I also feel like it’s more fun to keep at least some mystery. For now I’ll leave it as is and we’ll see.

At any rate I'm getting more and more excited for debut season. This was a quiet month all things considered, really just one stand out actress, but there are still plenty across the year that look great. Every year I keep making improvements to debut season, whether it was the individual posts in 2021, the advent calendar in 2022, or the post improvements in 2023. The debut previews have been fun to do and hopefully you'll all be excited for the reviews after seeing me comment for several months.
