It's hard to believe the year is over already. It sure went by fast. Just like always I'll take a look at ten different new releases from the month and see how they stack up. We were treated to several enticing collaboration videos with varying results. In addition, there were a couple of new IR films with equally mixed results. One being very good and the other...not so much. So without any further ado, let's dive in and see what we got.

New Female Teacher Shattered By Darkness

Starring Ichika Matsumoto

This film is a pure monkey paw wish. We get another Ichika IR film which is great. But it's produced by Attackers, not so great. And sadly the results are about what you'd expect. The plot centers around Ichika playing a new teacher at a high school. A few of the faculty members take a liking to her and well, I'm sure you can guess where it goes from there given the studio. The film focuses on her getting fucked against her will and betrayed by the principal(I think?). I was not fond of this setup at all. I've never been a fan of these darker plots. I was hoping we'd see a scene at the end where she would start to enjoy herself but nope. It's all pretty bleak. With leads me to another disappointing aspect, her performance.

In my opinion, Ichika works the best as a performer when she can let her personality shine. I'm sure most of us prefer to see bubbly Ichika over what we get here which is 100% submissive Ichika, and it's satisfying in any way. To her credit, she does play her role well. But it's all just quite depressing. The production values don't help either as they're all pretty gloomy and moody with their lighting and color palette. The action at least is fine with two sex scenes, a blowjob scene, and a pretty forgettable masturbation/toying scene. Sadly though most of the cumshots are fake. But the sex scenes are relatively solid at least but it's hard to enjoy them given the dark plot, submissive acting, and somber production values. This is a major pass for me.

If You Can Endure Alice Otsu's Amazing Technique, You Can Have Raw Creampie Sex!

Alice Otsu shooting an entry for this series seemed like a no-brainer. Her exuberant enthusiasm should make a perfect fit and I'm happy to report the results are astounding. Now I think most of you reading this know the premise of this series already but if not I'll give a brief rundown. Alice goes out and finds "random" guys to bring back and issues them a challenge. Endure 10 minutes of her technique and have creampie sex with her. If not, well you still got to nut so it's still a win. Of course, it's staged to some extent but I still love this setup. A great performance is always vital and Alice delivers in spades. The best aspect of this series is just getting to see the actress's natural personality without adhering to a strict role and she shows up for sure.

She's so full of energy here and is very excitable always laughing with many moments of pure glee. Her facial expressions are superb as well. All around she delivers one of the better performances I've seen in this series. Now the action isn't always the main draw here and that's the case here. It features seven scenes all with a major focus on handjobs and blowjobs. Two guys manage to have sex with her but it's often brief and not the most satisfying. But Alice's standout performance does help to bolster all of this. And as always with this series, there are several nice outfits for her. While the action can be lackluster, the main appeal of this series is always the plot and the actress's performance which Alice knocks out of the park. Very good.

Materiall is a studio that just debuted this year and has already made quite the impact with a very solid lineup of films so far. That trend continues with this juicy collab. The plot casts Misono and Nanami as two busty step-sisters who seduce their personal trainer and fuck him silly. As someone who loves workout/gym themes, I enjoyed this setup even if it's pretty simple. Seeing these two in sports bras getting super sweaty is pure eye-candy bliss. That's easily one of the best aspects as both of them look outstanding together. For those that like em thick and juicy, this film is heaven. This is all bolstered by the wonderful production values. The lighting is generally on point although one scene is a bit too bright for my liking.

Besides that the camerawork is fantastic, the wardrobe variety is terrific, and the pacing is well-balanced. Next up we have the action which is pretty great overall. It consists of two one-on-one sex scenes, a threesome sex scene, a blowjob scene, and lastly a paizuri scene. The variety here is remarkable and each scene is genuinely pretty enjoyable although I wish the first scene was a sex scene instead of just a blowjob. Now there is next to no interaction between the duo here but I can forgive that since they're supposed to be step-sisters. Performance wise Nanami is the standout but Misono does a fine job herself just nothing too memorable. All in all a splendid 3P film with some sexy eye-candy and quality action backed by superb production values.

Karen x Super-Deepening 4K Equipment Shooting Crotch Strike

Karen Yuzuriha has had a pretty solid year overall and she ends things on a mostly strong note with this film here. This is a vanilla sex-focused video with no real central premise whatsoever. The one unique aspect is that it's shot in ultra-high quality with a 4k camera. This also leads to there being a heavy usage of fish eye lens which may turn some folks off. I personally don't mind it for the most part but I'm sure others will disagree. The other technical aspects are well executed such as the lighting that is nicely varied on top of a decent range of settings. The pacing overall isn't too bad either. One minor annoyance though is the overuse of lotion in the second scene. It's not a dealbreaker but it's a bit too goopy and messy for my liking.

Now how is Karen's performance? Not bad but nothing too particularly great either. To be fair she isn't given a whole lot to work with. Her enthusiasm is fine on top of boasting some mixed facial expressions. She won't blow you away but she gets the job done at least. The action is pretty great though featuring three full sex scenes and a blowjob/paizuri scene. That latter scene isn't too noteworthy but the eye candy factor helps elevate it. The sex scenes are nice in that they each highlight her tits and ass respectively with the final scene showcasing both. Not a bad way to end the year for Karen. The heavy emphasis on fish eye will likely turn away some fans but if you don't mind it, you'll enjoy this one thanks to its nice eye candy and terrific action.

Yayoi Mizuki is up next on the IR list with this latest release. The premise seems to revolve around a man inviting his old friend over who Yayoi ends up crushing on due to him having a big dick. He makes a move on her and while she's resistant at first, she soon gives in and enjoys herself. I can't say that I'm a huge fan of NTR-type plots but this one wasn't too bad as the execution is on point and Yayoi's performance is pretty solid. She's still a bit too whiny and submissive at some points but that does fit the role at least. Beyond that, she's got good energy as well. Next up we have the production values which are superb. The lighting is fantastic as it's nicely varied with each scene boasting a different setup.

The settings are just as varied too surprisingly with each scene featuring a different room which combined with the aforementioned lighting changes makes each scene feel very distinct. The pacing is great too as every scene feels well-balanced. Last but not least we have the action which consists of two sex scenes and three sex scenes. The sex scenes are both terrific and are easily the highlight. However, the blowjob scenes are kinda forgettable. Not only does it get a bit stale after a while but the fake cumshots really hamper the satisfaction as well. An assjob scene would've been nice to see. That aside I still had a good time with this film despite my apathy toward the plot and some weak action. All around it's a solid IR film.

Ever wanted to experience a JRPG game but in a porn sense? Well, Rocket has you covered in their latest wacky video. The plot from what I can tell centers around this man who finds himself transported into the game world of this old-school rpg. Once inside, he finds the three actresses as npc characters. The whole story tasks him with enlisting them into his party, defeating a bad guy, and then celebrating his success at the end by fucking them. It's an very inventive setup that is used quite nicely especially with all the onscreen text mimicking an old rpg. Rocket definitely gets points for originality Now this being said I really only watched this for Rino Yuki as I didn't really care for the other two actresses here. And sadly she's not a huge focal point.

The action overall features three sex scenes and a masturbation/toying scene. For the most part, the sex is just okay. It's not the main reason you're watching this film, as strange as that may sound. You're mostly watching this for the absurd setup. It's really not that satisfying as can often feel one-sided at times plus the cumshots are all fake, no surprise there. Now when it comes to the production values, they're simple but charming. Only one setting and lighting setup is used albeit with a different backdrop each scene. I did appreciate the various costumes that do feel authentic and fit the theme. In the end, I did enjoy this one purely for its creative premise and execution. The sex is certainly a bit lacking though.

This is one hell of a duo. Two of the current anal queens together sounds like a great time. While I still ended up enjoying this one, I can't help but feel it left some potential on the table. Plot-wise it's very straightforward as the film focuses entirely on the action. Of course, given the title, it heavily centers around anal sex. With that said let's get into the action and see how it fairs. It consists of two threesome sex scenes with each one highlighting one of the two actresses, a blowjob/paizuri scene, and lastly a foursome scene. Now for the most part the action is fantastic. It's got a nice intensity to it along with a solid array of positions. In particular, the last scene is quite good as it features multiple instances of DP from both of them.

On the negative side though, there are plenty of fake creampies which I know may bother some. But biggest of all is the near complete lack of interaction between the cast. There are a few moments like when Alice spreads Yuria's cheeks while she's riding but it's very rare. It's sad as both actresses have done girl-on-girl stuff previously. Thankfully so the production values help make up for it as the lighting is brilliant, the pacing is balanced, and the hair and makeup work is top-notch. Backing all this up is their terrific performances. Alice tanks anal like a champ and while Yuria is a bit whinier, she still does a solid job. With some proper interaction, this could have been a film of the year contender. But it's still an enjoyable watch, especially for anal lovers.

I wasn't sure what to expect here considering I've never watched Non Ohana(who may wind up as the subject of a future First Impressions post) before but I was pleasantly surprised. Although I shouldn't be since Nao Masaki directed this one. The plot centers around a married man whose wife invites two of her old friends from school over. They end up staying the night and subsequently fuck him over and over. It's a great plot that incorporates some nice risk as several scenes feature them going at it while the wife is nearby or in bed. It certainly heightens the excitement. The action as a whole is fantastic with 3 threesome sex scenes and a handjob scene. That scene is mostly filler and forgettable but does end with a nice cumshot at least.

The sex scenes are all superb thanks to the top-notch interaction between the pair. They aren't afraid to go hands-on with each other and even eat the creampies out of each other. Although the cumshots there are fake it's still nice to see. The production values are mostly on point as well with great lighting and camerawork with one scene being shot in POV. My minor gripe is that the last sex scene is a bit too long. And lastly regarding their performances both do a good job boasting solid enthusiasm and engaging well. But I'd still give the edge to Yayoi as she's more energetic overall and expressive. This is what a proper 3P film should strive for with its brilliant action and actual interaction between the duo. Nao Masaki delivers once again.
