Panking's 2023 Retrospective: Top 20 Best JAV Films of 2023 Part 2

It's a little late but I've finally arrived at my top 10 videos for 2023. I've got a mix of everything from here from juicy threesomes to a workout video to one of my favorite nurse films ever and even some Ichika. Now let's kick this off with my number ten spot.

You know you're in for a good time with Nao Masaki at the helm and this film once again proves it as it's easily one of the best collaborations of the year. The premise isn't anything too innovative as it features the actresses going around and picking up "random" guys. It's all staged but I still enjoyed the setup as we get to see the pair acting naturally and letting their personality take center stage which is definitely one of the brightest spots of the film. Not only is the chemistry between them electric but both individually are incredibly enthusiastic. There's never a dull moment here. One amusing example is when they fight over sucking out cum from a used condom. It's just super entertaining from start to finish. The best part is how actively engaging they are with the actor as you'll rarely see one of them just sitting on the sidelines doing nothing which is very refreshing to see in modern JAV.

Next up is the production values which are all mostly on point as expected from a Nao Masaki directed film although the lighting is a tad dull at times. That's not enough to weigh down the superb action that consists of 3 threesome sex scenes and a handjob/paizuri scene. The only thing holding it back a bit is the pacing as it's a tad bloated with the runtime feeling too dragged out at times. A few scenes could've been trimmed down to save some time. Other than that it's fantastic. The cumshots are decent, the spotlight is evenly shared across both actresses, the position variety is superb and there's some nice interaction between them too even featuring some minor kissing. This is how a 3P film should be with proper interaction between the actresses, brilliant performances, and terrific action. If only all collabs could be like this.

This is hands down the most stacked lineup for any entry from this illustrious series. It also happens to boast one hell of a cover. I was a bit worried before its release that it may fail to deliver on it's potential but it far exceeded my expectations. The premise is just like any other entry as it revolves around the trio picking up "random" guys and trying to make them cum within the 10-minute time limit. If they fail then the guy gets to have creampie sex with them. It follows the typical setup exactly so what you see is what you get. But what separates this entry from the rest is the inclusion of three actresses as opposed to one. It proves to be a brilliant decision that makes the film exponentially more entertaining. The chemistry between all three is sublime and they work extremely well together. Lots of good vibes across the board with some nice interaction as well. Granted it's usually nothing more than some light fondling but it's still nice to see.

One of the series' best aspects is just getting to see the actresses be themselves and that is once again one of the brightest elements of this entry. The action is also pretty great if not for one minor omission that keeps it from reaching even higher. Overall it features three sex scenes and four other scenes consisting of handjobs and blowjobs with only a minor focus on tittyfucking. That right there is my main issue. How can you have these three busty actresses, two that are heavily known for their paizuri technique, and barely incorporate it all? It's such a huge blunder. Other than that the sex is pretty decent and fares better than most entries due to having three actresses making it much more engaging as a result. And just as always their wardrobe is a huge positive as many outfits do an outstanding job of highlighting their insane cleavage. WAAA-328 is perhaps the best entry of this entire series to date. It encapsulates all the best elements into one near masterpiece.

Admittedly I'm not the biggest Ichika fan in the world. I like her but can really only get into her films where her booty is the center of attention. MIAA-937 delivers not just that but a terrific plot on top of it. The setup for this one centers around a man whose step-sister(Ichika) becomes infatuated with him and begins to flash her ass while treating him to some upskirts shots. Soon enough she makes a move on him and the two proceed to go it throughout the rest of the film as you expect. It's a fun premise that is tailor-made for Ichika as she's a perfect fit for this type of role. As always Ichika is extremely charismatic and chock full of bubbly energy. She's delightfully devilish and irresistible. She really enhances the POV scenes, especially making them much more engaging overall. Thankfully the action is just as nice.

It consists of three sex scenes, a blowjob scene, and an assjob scene. Every scene showcases her ass very well setting up some brilliant cowgirl and doggystyle shots. I could do without the copious amount of fake creampies but it does somewhat serve a purpose to the plot at least. Now this leads me to the production values which fare extremely well. As I mentioned earlier, there's some POV use here which is super satisfying although there is some fisheye lens prominently used in them so just beware of that in case you're not a fan. Besides that, the lighting and settings feature a healthy variety ensuring that each scene feels relatively fresh. Plus, her wardrobe is excellent with many nice schoolgirl uniforms. This film is just quintessential Ichika and highlights her best assets including her top-tier acting and amazing booty. It doesn't get much better than this.

Nao Masaki is the GOAT of directors in my opinion so it's no surprise to see at least one of her films crack my list(and spoiler alert, there may be more). This film here was one of the earliest that really blew me away with Mizuki's acting and is still one of her finest works. Mizuki plays a female boss who is caught in an affair by some of her subordinates. Once she learns of this she decides to take matters into her own hands by fucking their brains out. It's a bit absurd no doubt but who is really surprised coming from Nao Masaki. What's especially nice is that two of the scenes incorporate an element of risk. Such as when she's fucking the guy in the office and when she's having sex with a married man while his wife is just feet away. It's a fantastic setup that gives Mizuki free rein to flex her dominant side. Each scene is super intense with a healthy mix of cowgirl and doggystyle. There are fake creampies here, but I didn't mind them honestly.

They're at least used effectively as she'll milk a "creampie" out of the guy before riding him again leading to an actual real cumshot. Which really helps to convey Mizuki's wild lust. Like many other Moodyz-produced films, the technical aspects are remarkable. The diverse settings for each scene prevent monotony, while the varied lighting accentuates her figure nicely. And all the OL outfits suit her nicely complete with all the usual trimmings such as pantyhose, stockings & skirts. And lastly, I gotta mention her flawless performance. Her enthusiasm and facial expressions are fantastic without being too over the top. She gets super sweaty too with some very lewd moves. She'll often cuff the guy's mouth to keep him quiet while she's sucking his dick or riding him. Hell, at one point she bites the ring off the guy's hand and spits it out. All these things combine to make for a masterful performance and one of the very best films of the year. Nao Masaki continues to hold the crown.

Mina Kitano may have slimmed down but she's still got a rockin' booty and this film is entirely devoted to showcasing not only that but her impressive acting ability as well. It all cums together to create a massterful watch. In regard to plot there's not much to go on as it's mainly just centered around her big booty with each scene featuring a different setup or theme. A few examples include her playing a teacher and a nurse. All this is greatly enhanced by the fact that it's all entirely shot in POV. It greatly heightens the engagement of each scene and it's all handled wonderfully. The lighting is also quite nice throughout boasting a decent variety overall although it's a little too washed out in the 2nd sex scene. Not a huge deal as it's still enjoyable at least. Now speaking of the action, it's fantastic. It consists of three sex scenes, an assjob scene, and an admittedly forgettable masturbation scene that ends with a guy lightly cumming on her ass.

Every other scene here is brilliant thankfully and showcases her booty in perfect fashion with a nice array of positions. Of course, there's a lot of cowgirl and doggy but a few others thrown in too keeping things fresh. Another thing to note is that her boobs are literally always covered up so if you REALLY don't like her chest, then this is just the film for you. Rounding all this out is her phenomenal acting. This is easily up there as one of her best recent performances. The way she works her ass here is downright hypnotic and she rides with such a fierceness here that rivals some of the greats like Kurea Hasumi. Plus, her facial expressions are super lewd and she absolutely nails the slutty persona. She just exudes such a strong raw, nympho energy. All this combines to make for what is easily one of the very best films of the year.

Not only is MIAA-799 one of my favorite films of the entire year but the cover itself is also one of the best. It catches your attention in a flash. The setup casts Hana as a lewd nurse as she gives some "hands-on' treatment to some male patients. It can be rather humorous at times such as in one scene where she treats a chronic masturbator by placing these mittens on his hands as she furiously tittyfucks him. These little setups help to keep each scene feeling somewhat fresh. Overall I'm a big fan of slutty nurse plots and this one was satisfying for sure. One key element to its success is Hana's performance. She's got her trademark bubbly enthusiasm throughout while boasting this lovely lewd vibe as well. Hana totally owns the adorable but yet slutty persona and it's on full display here.

The production values also go a long way in elevating the film to a much higher level. The lighting is brilliant, the settings are decently varied for this type of theme and the wardrobe selection is absolutely stunning. In fact, I'd say the last outfit she wears may just be one the single hottest outfits she's ever worn. Plus, Hana sports pigtails for 3/4 scenes which is nice to see and suits her extremely well. The action is no slouch either consisting of two sex scenes and two outercourse type scenes. There's virtually nothing to complain about. I normally rag on the fake cumshots but we're treated to several real ones here which is always nice. And we get several nice positions that showcase her remarkable flexibility. MIAA-799 is not only one of my favorite Hana films ever but it's also among the best nurse films in recent memory. A resounding success from top to bottom.

It's no secret that Alice and Mizuki are probably my favorite active duo in JAV. Their chemistry together is unmatched and they always light up the screen. I expected big things from this film and they once again delivered. The setup centers around Alice and Mizuki picking up various "random" guys and taking them back to their home. Although in one scene they head to his place and in another, they simply use the back of their van. This all leads to them fucking them silly with an emphasis on face-sitting and plenty of threesome action. It's all staged of course but the fantasy of it all is the real draw. While the plot is pretty nice, the action is even better. It features three sex scenes, an assjob scene, and a handjob scene across a three-hour runtime. Overall it's very intense and features a fine array of positions with a heightened focus on cowgirl with a healthy dose of squirting to boot.

Matching that intensity is their equally amazing performances. It's a bit disappointing that there isn't much girl-on-girl action but their sheer chemistry helps make up for it. They aren't afraid to touch each other at least as there are some really fun moments here like when Alice is pushing off of Mizuki's ass as she is riding a guy trying to get her off. Their enthusiasm is off the charts here as both are extremely expressive and full of energy. When it comes to the technical aspects, it's generally well-executed across the board. The pacing is smooth and doesn't bog down at any point. There's a decent bit of setup sometimes to the scenes but even then it's all entertaining thanks to the interaction between Alice and Mizuki as they light up the screen whenever they're around. The setting variety is good too as each scene uses a different location ensuring no scenes feel too samey. All this makes for what is easily one of the best collabs of the entire year. Gimme more of this please!

Mixing an isekai plot and JAV together sounds like an odd setup but leave it to SOD and Momona to knock it out of the park. This film is a great example of what a little imagination can do for the industry. The plot here thrusts our male lead here into a magical world after he's hit by a car and reincarnated by Momona's fairy powers. She ends up healing him through sex but is eventually attacked by a couple of bad guys. Our hero helps ward them off and is rewarded with another fuck session. It's a very entertaining premise that makes full use of its world thanks to some humorous video game overlays referencing RPGs and its special effects are quite charming. Not only that but the technical aspects across the board are phenomenal. Momona's wardrobe here is expertly designed and fits the concept perfectly without looking too goofy. Even her wig looks solid. But perhaps even better than that is the lighting. It's incredibly soft stunningly accenting her body and boobs.

Even the outdoor scenes which can be difficult to pull off are shot very well. The camerawork deserves a shoutout as well thanks to some terrific POV inclusion. Her performance is mostly on point as she's very sweet and inviting while boasting her usual undeniable charm. My only slight gripe is that she's a tad off the mark during the threesome scene where she should be more submissive but that's not a major deal. Lastly, we have the action which is another major highlight. It consists of three sex scenes and a paizuri scene. Honestly, all the scenes are enjoyable and boast a reasonable range of positions. A little too many fake creampies but at least it's the tittyfuck scene that gets a real finish. In the end, STARS-953 is easily my favorite video of hers from the entire year and maybe ever honestly. Fun and inventive plot, superb production values, and top-notch action. A true must-watch.

I absolutely loved gym/workout themes so naturally one starring Mizuki Yayoi sounded like a recipe for success. And I'm very happy to report that it manages to deliver in a big way making for my second favorite film of the year. Now admittedly the plot is very straightforward casting Mizuki as a lewd fitness instructor who enjoys getting a little too hands-on with her clients. It's simple but very effective as Mizuki's body is perfectly ripe for this type of setup. It does a great job of incorporating various workouts at the start before diving into the action. The film features three sex scenes and an assjob scene. There's very little to complain about really. The position variety is superb with a nice mix of cowgirl, doggystyle, and missionary with her ass always being a main focal point. Most of the cumshots are real too and there's not a ton of filler bogging it down either.

Not only is the pacing superb but the technical aspects as a whole are on point. The camerawork for instance always gives you the best angles of her juicy booty. and the lighting is nicely varied giving each scene a unique feel despite two scenes reusing the same location which is a minor bummer. Her wardrobe is another major highlight as she sports some tight thongs, leggings, and shorts. And this is all backed up by her stellar acting as usual. She's very expressive and energetic making for a perfect fit for this role on top of being super engaging. She also gets decently sweaty at times adding to the amazing eyecandy factor making her ass look absolutely bonkers. You can't beat MIAA-865. It's a complete banger from start to finish and nails pretty much every asspect including action, production values, performance, and most definitely eyecandy.

What do you get when you combine the high-octane performances of both Alice and Mao along with the GOAT director, Nao Masaki? You get what I consider to be the best film of the year and one that will leave you absolutely breathless by the end. The plot to this one is nearly nonexistent beyond just simply giving these two total control and letting them go wild. There is some emphasis on whispering and dirty talk which can be nice along with the first scene featuring the pair fucking you while your girlfriend plays a VR headset. But overall it's straightforward but extremely effective. So what makes this film so good? Perhaps the biggest reason is the interaction between them. In so many other 3P films the actresses will barely touch each other or just diddle themselves on the sidelines but not here. They are constantly fondling, kissing, licking, fingering and even squirting all over each other.

We even get some scissoring and oral sex between them. This level of interaction is further enhanced by their exuberant acting and fantastic chemistry. The energy from these two is clearly on another level as they both boast insane enthusiasm and are super engaging which helps since it's all mainly shot in POV. There is never a dull moment. The action is just as good consisting of 3 full threesome sex scenes. It's very over the top with gratuitous amounts of squirting making for a wet and wild ride. And while there are fake creampies, they at least eat the "cum" out of each other and swap it around a bit making it worth a watch. Those scenes still end with a real cumshot anyway so it's still satisfying. Their wardrobe is on point too featuring several nice slutty outfits that fit the film perfectly. Words alone cannot do this film justice. It nails just about everything and destroys the bar set by previous 3P films. If you enjoy squirting and threesomes, this is the GOAT. Period.
