An actress's retirement can hit pretty hard. Especially if her career leaves you feeling unfilled or incomplete. There can be a myriad of reasons for that. Maybe her career was short-lived or she left a lot of potential on the table with many genres left unexplored. Another reason could be that she left without a proper retirement video which can really sting. We all have those types of actresses in mind. That's precisely the topic of discussion today as I list 10 actresses I want to see a return to JAV counting all the way down to my number one most wanted. Now before I get asked about her in the comments, I am not including Ai Uehara. Why you may ask? Because she's accomplished nearly everything. She went out on top and shot films in every genre imaginable. There's nothing left for her to do. Now with that out of the way, let's begin my number 10 choice...

10. Nana Aoyama

Nana Aoyama was one of the best milf actresses JAV has ever seen. Both beautiful and busty with a certain alluring charm about her. Nana would make her AV debut clear back in 2006 with Crystal Eizou studio. She remained an exclusive there for about one year before transitioning to a Moodyz exclusive. That lasted for a year and a half when she then went freelance working with the likes of Oppai, Attackers, Fitch, and Madonna just to name a few. She continued with this trend until 2015 when she retired from the industry. Unfortunately, since then she has gone completely off the grid it seems with no social media presence at all.

Now Nana did enjoy a relatively long career in AV spanning 9 years in all. However, I would still love to see her make a comeback. One of the major reasons I wish for a Nana Aoyama comeback is a simple fact that she didn't release a retirement video. She was one of those actresses that just dipped out and faded away. It's a real shame given her long-running career. In addition, there's still plenty of themes and genres for her to try such as interracial and lesbian. I generally feel like a return from her is rather unlikely so I'm not getting my hopes up but I'd be thrilled if it happened.

9. Kaho Shibuya

Most of you are probably aware of Kaho Shibuya already but here's a brief background. Kaho made her JAV debut back in 2014 with Alice Japan. Throughout her career, she was mainly a freelance actress working with any studio you can think such as Moodyz, Honnaka, Oppai, and Wanz Factory to name a few. Her career was rather short-lived though as she retired in 2018 after just 4 years. After retiring she's been pretty active in several different projects including cosplay, some VA work for an anime, and maintaining her Youtube and Twitch channels.

Unfortunately, it seems like Kaho Shibuya has completely moved on from her AV work and wishes to pursue her other ventures completely. It's understandable as she did put in a lot of work during those 4 years and became very successful. It makes sense that she would want to move on. And to be fair, she has done many genres during her time such as anal, interracial, and bukkake to name a few. There's not much left for her to do really. But at the same time, her career was relatively short-lived and she was such a fun and bubbly presence in the JAV world. Having her back would be fantastic but honestly, it's very unlikely sadly. At least we got a proper and satisfying farewell.

8. Yuka Minase

Yuka Minase had quite easily one of the shortest-lived careers on my list for sure. And I'm not gonna sit here and pretend she made a huge lasting impact on the industry or anything. But goddamn, she was really nice and I'd love to see a return. Yuka make her debut in 2011 with Moodyz. She had an exclusivity deal there lasting 5 releases before going freelance and shooting for studios such as Oppai, E-Body, Attackers, and BeFree. However, her career ended just as it was reaching its peak when retired in 2014. She was only around for 3 years but she deserved much more.

Now unlike some others on my list here she did release a final farewell film. But to be honest it was rather disappointing and just kinda ended her career on a whimper instead of a bang. I think there's a lot of uncharted territory for Yuka to try. I'd love to see her shoot some bukkake, cum swallowing, interracial, or maybe even some lesbian content. Also, her body was fantastic back in the day and I'd be really curious to see how she's holding up now. Her breasts were some of the best around at the time which helped to complement her slender figure. I don't think a return from her is too likely but I still say she'd have some of the most potential out of anyone else here.

7. Ria Sakuragi

Ria was one of the other incredibly busty stars alongside the likes of Hitomi but never quite reached the same peaks, so to speak. Ria Sakuragi would make her AV debut in 2011 with Cinema Unit GAS. She would remain an exclusive there for one year before going freelance working with big-name studios like Wanz Factory, Oppai, and even Moodyz. Her career was very short-lived though as in less than a year she would disappear. She would make a brief return in 2016 and in 2019 but just releasing a few films. As of now she seems to be retired from AV but does have an Onlyfans account.

Ria Sakuragi is a bit of a frustrating case in that she has made a comeback a few times in recent years but then quickly disappears just as soon as she returns only releasing a small handful of films each time. She was always a pretty solid actress back in the day and I would love to see her return fully. She'd make a great busty gyaru type actress which is a unique style that is sorely missing nowadays in JAV. In addition, there's plenty of new genres and fetishes for her to partake in. I could potentially see her making yet another comeback to JAV given that she's still active in the adult space with her Onlyfans. Maybe one day...

6. Aimi Yoshikawa

Aimi Yoshikawa was a fairly popular actress known for her petite stature, sizable bust, and infamous "whining". Aimi first debuted as a gravure model in August 2012. In just a few months later she would make her AV debut. She made a big splash at first and even garnered the award for "outstanding actress" at the 2013 SOD Awards. She would be exclusive to SOD and eventually S1 before going freelance. All this came to end though in November 2018 when she announced her retirement. Not too much is known about her current ventures as she's gone mostly private with no social media at all. However, it is presumed she is continuing her career as a hostess.

Like some other actresses on this list, Aimi Yoshikawa ended her career without a final retirement film. Honestly her career kinda just ended with a whimper releasing many films with studios such as Hunter and Scoop featuring multiple actress casts. In the twilight of her career, she saw very little solo work which is a real shame. Her body was at her peak in that time with her gaining some weight making for a really nice meaty figure complete with a very ample bust. I think she would fit in quite well nowadays with some of the current busty stars in the business. However, given that she never really appeared to enjoy her time in AV I'm not getting my hopes up. I truly doubt she'll ever come back but you never know...

5. Kaori

She was easily one of my favorite actresses ever and one I'd absolutely love to see make a return. Kaori originally began her career as a race queen and then became a gravure/bikini model starring in countless bikini and lingerie photo shoots along with magazines, calendars, car shows, and movies. It wasn’t until December 2009 that Kaori made her AV debut with Muteki studio. She released several videos with Muteki but then started working with Attackers and Premium. Afterward, she branched out, even more, releasing videos with BeFree, Fitch, Moodyz, Venus, and Madonna to name a few. Sadly all good things must come to an end and Kaori retired from JAV in 2019 after more than a decade in the business.

There are many reasons why I would like to see Kaori return to AV. One of which is that she never received a final retirement film. I can sorta understand why other actresses with short-lived careers wouldn't get one but Kaori was around for a whole decade. Show her some respect! Plus, her last released film was a huge dud and was super forgettable. Anyway, another reason is that there are still some genres she hasn't partaken in yet like anal and interracial. Lastly is that I'd want to see how her current figure is faring. Near the end, she put on a little too much weight so I'd love to see if she's trimmed down a bit. I realize Kaori is getting quite older now, more so than others here on my list, but I'd love a comeback all the same.

4. Sakura Kirishima

Sakura Kirishima was an actress that I feel deserved a bit more love and attention. She's quite a unique actress imo. She got her start shooting for E-Body back in 2014. Shortly afterward she moved on from them and become a freelance actress working for a wide variety of studios such as BeFree, Oppai, Fitch, and Crystal Eizou just to name a few. In the final stage of her career, she became exclusive to H.M.P before calling it quits at the beginning of 2020.

Now Sakura did enjoy a career spanning about 6 years and in that time released plenty of quality films. However, I always felt like she flew under the radar. She never seemed to receive a big buzz around her like some other actresses which I think is a huge shame. Her personality was extremely bright and bubbly which extended to her acting making for some brilliant performances. Her figure was pretty unique too. Now not only were there several themes and genres she never tried but she also never got a proper retirement film either which is a travesty. I feel like she has the potential to make a comeback, more so than some others here on my list. If nothing else just to deliver us a final farewell film.

3. Haruki Sato

Haruki Sato is one of my most beloved actresses. She got her start back in 2011 as a freelance actress working for a wide variety of smaller studios such as Bi, AKNR, and Natural High just to name a few. After gaining some popularity she started to get picked up by larger studios like Moodyz, E-Body, and Ideapocket. Not only did her body of work change but also her physical body as well. When she debuted she was rather skinny but as her career went on she put on weight and became quite thick and curvy. She retired in 2015 after a solid run and has since pretty much disappeared. She did have an Instagram account but a few months after retirement it vanished. She's been off the radar ever since.

I would love a Haruki Sato comeback for several reasons. A big point is that she, like many others on my list, never got a final farewell video. Her releases just kinda tapered off near the end and she just faded away. She definitely deserved to go out with a bang after maintaining a steady stream of releases for so long and having worked with many other actresses. Another reason I want a comeback is I wanna see how her body is looking now. Near the end there she was letting herself go a little too much so I'm curious if she's slimmed down at all. Plus, she's not too old at just age 29. She could transition to a lovely milf type actress if she wanted.

2. Rio Hamasaki

Ah, a true queen of JAV. If there was ever a JAV hall of fame she’d be a first-ballot nominee. Rio Hamasaki was one of the first actresses that I ever learned the name of and instantly fell in love with. She got her start debuting in 2006 at the age of 18 as a freelance actress. And actually, throughout her career, she’d remain a freelance actress not tied down to any particular studio. She would go on to work for many different studios such as Oppai, Moodyz, Wanz Factory, Dogma, and Deeps just to name a few. It would all come to an end though in 2016 when she retired from the industry after 6 full years in the business.

Now granted Rio Hamasaki did release a wealth of films during her time spread across many genres. However, as a diehard fan, you always want a little more. There are still a few genres and themes she never got to try like interracial and VR for example. In addition, I'd love to see her with many of the active busty actresses around today. There's a lot of potential there. Another thing is that many of her films were released before HD became standard so it'd be nice to watch her in crisp 1080p. Now unlike others here she did get a retirement film but honestly it was pretty lackluster, like most are, to be honest. Overall, I can never get enough of Queen Rio and would love to see more.

1. Anri Okita

Easily my number one choice without a doubt. Does Anri Okita need an introduction? She's an absolute legend who made quite the impact despite only having a career spanning 5 years. She shot with many different studios but the most notable ones included S1, Moodyz, and Oppai. After she retired she worked with Nadine.ne to shoot a few softcore scenes. Shortly after that she got married and had a baby girl. Anri maintains a presence online still with an Onlyfans, Twitch, and Youtube account all of which have been relatively successful.

I think Anri has the most potential out of anyone on this list honestly. There's still plenty of genres and themes that she never got to explore during her time such as anal, interracial, and cum swallowing just to name a few. Not only that but her new post-pregnancy body is spectacular and it would be awesome to see it in action. She's aged quite nicely and has turned into a smoking hot MILF. A sequel to MIRD-150 with her bff, Hitomi, would be a dream come true. Unfortunately, she has gone on record saying she isn't going to return, and with her delisting her films that possibility looks very unlikely. A man can dream though.
