The Appeal of Tomboys in JAV

The most glaringly obvious appeal to tomboys is the fact that they don't typically act like a traditional woman. In JAV, women are usually at peak femininity - long hair, large breasts, flawless visage. After all, most porn (and JAV) is male-targeted, so naturally we want to see the most beautiful women performing sexual acts. However, tomboys typically have shorter hair, smaller breasts, are more "rough and tough", and less dainty and delicate. This difference can be seen as a breath of fresh air, for some.

Traditional women are also sometimes seen as more submissive, meanwhile, tomboys can be more dominant, boasting an aura of confidence or assertiveness, especially when it comes to sex. Seeing a woman act in such a way can naturally be a turn-on, as it is different from what many claim to be "normal", and a tomboy's ability to essentially match a man's assertiveness for sex can be appreciated by any.

Tomboys are also indirectly helping to spread interest in the many different forms the female body can assume - for example, it is only natural that men like large breasts on a woman, however, tomboys are often flat/small-breasted, and such a trait can help make flat chests more desirable amongst men. Granted, there is already a sect of men who believe "flat is justice", but tomboys help to boost the appeal of such flatness further. While I don't think men will ever stop loving large breasts, tomboys help to prove that petite chests can be just as sexy.

The same can naturally be said about abs and excessive muscle on a woman. While muscles were mostly once attributed to being a "man" thing, tomboys with their abs and muscles can be just as sexually engaging as a woman who is mostly slender and curvaceous. It's said "variety is the spice of life", and tomboys are a budding example of that.

While tomboys are known for their male-associated traits, they are still women. They have delightful female anatomy, and small bits of their femininity still float to the surface here and there. The perfection that is "tomboyism" comes from this delicate balance between male and female traits, forming a unique blend of personality, and giving men a whole new perspective on a different "class" of woman. Unfortunately, I don't think the more feminine aspect of tomboys appears very often in JAV, and is a bit of a wasted opportunity.

Tomboys are often depicted as tough, dominant and confident, unlike most women that are labeled as delicate and soft. Rarely do their feminine traits surface, but when they do, it's an incredible appeal. In fact, I would argue it is one of the more crucial elements to tomboys - the rare moment their rough, male exterior crumbles and their girlish vulnerabilities or eccentricities are exposed. For example, you could have a tomboy who loves biking and is always rough and tough like the boys, playing hard in sports and using crude language. But the second she spots a bug in her kitchen, she lets out this feminine squeal, revealing a part of herself you've never seen before.

This has a charm and allure that men find irresistible. On top of that, it gives tomboys more depth than what some would initially perceive. While they have mostly boyish charms, their feminine aspects, though muted, are still very much alive, even if they only come out for a split second now and again. Tomboys may showcase toughness and independence one moment, but later unveil tenderness and emotional depth the next. This reveals that tomboys are not necessarily one-dimensional, they can be the epitome of strength and dominance, while at the same time possessing vulnerability.

Such complexity gives tomboys even more appeal on a sexual level in JAV, as watchers are charmed not just by the woman's body, but by the depth of her personality - at least, for those who actually want to be invested in a woman beyond her physical attractiveness.
