Drenched Passion of an Older Woman with Yuuko Kasahara

Japanese housewives get a bad rap as most just assume they're submissive near-slaves to their husbands.  From this author's experience, there is a small nugget of truth in that (for older ones at least), but they all find ways to rebel--sometimes covertly and other times going all-out in a fiery blaze of glory that some call 'separation' and 'divorce.'

YUUKO KASAHARA is of this latter category.  She's older for sure.  During the initial interview of DRENCHED PASSION OF AN OLDER WOMAN, she claimed her age to be 40, but I think it's safe to assume she used the Kunis Defense where she simply stated *AN* age that may or may have reflected reality.  In other words, at the time of shooting, she almost certainly was past 40 by at least half a decade--my opinion at least.

Today's release at ZENRA by GUTS is a bona fide Unfaithful Wives one and this time around  we're happy to be featuring someone who definitely can be classified as 'mature'.  We don't show these types of movies often so take this as the perfect entrée for fans of the real older women next door.

Is YUUKO a looker?  It's hard to call her downright beautiful, but she has her charms for sure.  Personality-wise, she gets high marks as she's very outgoing, but I couldn't help feeling as if her extroverted demeanor in PASSION was more of a fail-safe to hide how nervous she was with actually starring in an adult video title.

Is it possible she was actually married at the time of filming?  We'll never know and although AV titles often are anything but bedfellows with reality, nuggets of truth are often mixed in with falsehoods making for a theme that most users can find appetizing.  On that note, the second scene--the only one with a 'story' theme to it--was our favorite.  It did feel extremely contrived, but seeing YUUKO take the lead as a workplace boss and convince her coworker to do the unthinkable with her while on the clock was both risky and commendable.

DRENCHED PASSION OF AN OLDER WOMAN runs a bit short at just over an hour, but like many other 'older' releases from the mid-aughts, you get your money's worth in spite of the briefer lengths; the scenes are still numerous and varied, but they get to the point much faster.  Our only grumble was the actor they featured in two or three scenes was way too much of a quiet talker making it hard at time to subtitle his lines.  He also has this uncomfortable tendency to constantly moan no matter what he was doing.  It's kind of weird and off-putting and we hope he fixes this tick.

Older woman titles will be returning, but given the wants and needs of most of our subscribers, we've no intention of making them a common occurrence.  Enjoy them when they come out and you'll keep on seeing them as sporadic updates every so often.  In fact, as Japan keeps on aging, you'll see more older woman--or 'jukujo' in Japanese--taking part in the AV industry.  That time is almost upon us!
