Leave it to the crazy minds at FETISH-JAPAN.com to come up with a novel way to take the classic tropes of Japanese adult video and put them through the eldritch wringer to appease their very specific user base.  Japan, with its centuries of urban legends growing by number every decade is a treasure trove of ideas that forward-thinking entertainment companies--including ones that make adult video--put more focus in when the name of the game is to spook the audience.

And yes, the lack of certain facial features we all take for granted can make even someone with a massive amount of fortitude's heart skip a beat.  In fact, just how we naturally tend to associate beauty with symmetry, the lack of certain identifying 'human markers' on an otherwise stunning face can be a very harrowing experience.  As a test, find your favorite image of your absolute favorite model or adult video star (the latter is preferred of course!) and see if you can Photoshop her nose out of it.  The end result is something rather deadful in spite of beauty all around the 'gap'.

The absence of the norm is what today's Japanese urban legend turned adult video production is about.  Today, the NOPPERABOU does AV!

NOPPERABOU is a type of Japanese spirit that aside from having absolutely no facial features is relatively harmless.  Compared to the SLIT-MOUTHED WOMAN whom we featured a few months ago, the NOPPERABOU pretty much only has the ability to frighten people based solely off its looks.  It won't hunt you down in order to...well, you know.

The NOPPERABOU in today's release is played by an amateur Japanese AV star going by the stage name FUUKO OOSHIMA.  As you can see by the attached picture--which unfortunately is the largest one we have--she's an immensely attractive young Japanese woman.  We're saddened that so far this is the only release to her name as she has looks western guys go bananas over:  pale skin, thin yet expressive eyes, and classic long and straight midnight black hair.  What's more, she has near perfect breasts!  They're naturally circular, big for her frame, yet feature small yet symmetrical nipples.

Our only negative nugget of criticism for NOPPERABOU is that it's a bit light on the story.  FETISH-JAPAN.com, being a Japanese studio making movies for Japanese audiences, already assumes its viewers are very much acquainted with urban legends so hefty explanations were left out.

However, there are many, MANY positive things to say about this release.  To begin, it's shot in HD and the lighting and camerawork is top-notch!  In particular there were many portions of the lesbian scene between the NOPPERABOU and KOYUKI AMANO that featured some of the most beautifully shot expressions of female-to-female sexual love of recent memory.  It's also nice to see KOYUKI return to ZENRA for another lesbian romp.  Her name may not ring a bell, but she was the woman being fisted in an earlier release that took place in an abandoned shed.

Like all other movies in FETISH-JAPAN.com's URAMESHIYA series, NOPPERABOU uses extensive practical effects makeup.  Our friends at their head office a short 10 minute train ride from Shinjuku told us it was a certain type of plaster that smelled HORRIBLE.  What's more, FUUKO OOSHIMA pretty much spent the entire shoot stark naked and BLIND.  Yes, as you probably can tell, the plaster covering her eyes and nose is totally opaque so her senses were knocked down a notch.  She did make up for it by providing some supernal-level fellatio.  Of course, locating the erections of the garrulous group of juice men was a challenge in itself.

It would have been nice to have seen a public exposure scene--or even a blooper--where FUUKO in full NOPPERABOU makeup walks into a convenience store to buy something just so we can see how surprised the clerk reacts.  Oh well, we'll add that to our suggestions list and in the future perhaps another Japanese urban legend release can combine elements of public spooking with abnormal adult play.

What we can say with clinging certainty is there should be at least two more HD urban legend releases and both should be added to ZENRA later this year.  Be prepared because things will become fraught from here on out.
