HOTWIFE SOAPLAND - HUSBANDS SEE HOW FAR THEIR WIVES WILL GO is a tale of two movies. Or maybe better: two opinions. Before diving into the details, a summery: great theme, good casting, meh production. But in spite of that last negative, don't let it get totally in the way because folks, the creampies in this movie are indeed the real deal!

We've seen from our data that hotwives (or cuckolding depending on how one defines it) are indeed popular. VERY popular. We won't pad this review with talking about why--one can probably write a book on that! We will however note that what users may be used to with our GOGOS updates with similar themes may be in for a little bit of disappointment with this SOFT ON DEMAND double update. Realism exists but it's nowhere near the level that GOGOS is known for. For starters, two of the three 'wives' should be familiar faces (and the last as well if you've seen enough JAV though we haven't yet shown other movies by her on ZENRA). That plus the initial setup including their reactions to such audacious requests by their husbands could have been done better.

Think about it: there is a big difference with knowing your husband is into hotwives and perhaps as the couple in the last scene noted, actually visiting a swingers club to 'watch but not take part' and having a husband literally reach out to a big JAV studio to have his otherwise virgin hotwife not only have sex with a stranger, but to do it under the guise of training to be a soapland queen and (ideally) not with ONE customer, but for an entire day! You'd think a few faces would be slapped, but no, the only real sense of refusal comes with working for a full day. That's a bridge too far for all three, but with one customer? Sure, why not. And while being filmed by a big JAV studio for distribution? Yea, no issues.

Interestingly, HOTWIFE SOAPLAND gets points for the location. This was NOT shot in the same soapland set you've seen in most every JAV movie (there aren't too many to rent it seems!). I've a feeling this was indeed the real deal that let the studio rent out the place for the day. My reasoning stems from the old school Showa Era waiting room (a pesky law has made it almost impossible for new soaplands to be built and old ones basically have to make do with periodic renovations) and the lighting which was somewhere between 'not great' and for a SOD movie by an established director at least, 'quite awful'. The sound as well which at times seemed to artificially touched up in post. A real studio may be a tried-and-true and overly saturated location, but it already has fixtures in place to get optimal lighting and sound. A real location, on the other hand, can present a host of problems that even experienced director CHAIN-Sou was not able to totally overcome.

That's it for nitpicks though! Because gosh darn was the female casting eye candy. We've MIKUNI MAISAKI sporting an extremely well put together body tied in with one of the greatest smiles ever, AKEMI HORIUCHI who is one of the most beautiful JAV stars of the 2010's (and never got the respect she deserved!), and the third wife whose name defeats me whom also sported a great body and excellent enthusiasm. Lastly, the eternally youthful REN MIYAMURA whom in all scenes played the veteran soapland queen who gave extremely thorough lectures while horny husbands watched a few feet away.

Even the actors--because that's what they were even within the 'universe' of this movie--all brought something unique to the table. HOTWIFE SOAPLAND - HUSBANDS SEE HOW FAR THEIR WIVES WILL GO in a way is a mild prank movie because while the wives were OK with satisfying the strange kinks of their husbands, they thought they'd be servicing an actual customer, not an actor. Thus, they knew about the job, the fact that their husbands were watching, but the extra passionate sex at the end was most certainly not what your average out of shape soapland goer could possibly provide.

I can't say HOTWIFE SOAPLAND nailed what it set out to do. It doesn't carry the type of realism I'd preferred to have seen. This ain't no GOGOS movie basically. It also on a production level falls a bit short, but the theme itself is just so unique (and sadly without a sequel) it should not be missed. And, as noted above, the creampie finishes are indeed the real deal. Shot when it was more common, we get the real deal 'pull out for the first squirt before going back in' finish. A hotwife experience like no other!
