(Continue to Second Half)

All things must come to an end. Sometimes that means your favorite TV series, that great brand of curry at the supermarket, your favorite JAV studio. OK, the last thankfully is an overstatement so need to panic! HOT ENTERTAINMENT, the producer of today and Monday's extra juicy double update is alive though not in OG form for reasons we may note on our blog in the future (the short: their sister studio suddenly is in a situation where almost all of their content is now un-sellable in Japan). But something unique did happen not too long ago: they had an image change of sorts. A clean slate for their home page and seemingly the retirement of their main director NETSU YUJIN (at least when it comes to the updates we show no ZENRA). While still focusing on their core mission of amateurs and nanpa with a few wildcards thrown in, the movies do have somewhat of a different, simpler, and often shorter vibe. Surely nothing like today's movie which originally had a run-time pushing 5 hours (!).

Yes, five hours. The "director's cut" of NANPA LEADS TO RISKY THREESOMES 12, the FINAL in the series, is a movie of high heights and low lows. The latter in the form of excessive scene creep in the form of excessively long outdoor interviews that had such poor audio opted not to show them (subtitling would have been extremely challenging to say the least). The first scene in its entirety also had some elements that left us little options but to remove it. What you're getting are three of the four scenes after the hotel take-aways. Thus, all the meat of the movie remains and running a little under 180 minutes, it's still a hefty release.

Each of the three scenes is in the form of a delicious FFM encounter with heavy emphasis on an "old" (with quotes, these are ladies after all!) and young element. Being the 12th installment of a very long running series, the flow is tried-and-true. I won't waste digital ink laying down each scene's pro's and con's nor describe what happens in excessive detail. It's obvious and the minutiae that make each encounter great--the journey, if you will--is best experienced by watching the movies, not reading the review.

BUT I will mention something before closing this out. An element of this update. A little piece of redemption. Until now I've been critical of director NETSU YUJIN when he inserts himself in movies. He seems to relegate himself either as an unneeded third wheel or more commonly the guy who gets 'sloppy seconds' by filming what are often almost throwaway self-shot finales to otherwise great movies. This time in what could be his last we get a NETSU YUJIN true to his name. Lightning in a bottle was struck. He was spot-on (and in really good shape with abs!), his co-stars were perfectly cast with one eerily reminding me of a gyaru mama I know in real life, and of course the sex was excellent. It's almost a master class of how a solo shooter should do his craft. He nailed it and that this could be our swan song with him, I'm happy it's flaming out in a ball of glory than a crumpled tissue of meh.

NANPA LEADS TO RISKY THREESOMES concludes with this 12th installment, but the concept lives on! Already three in a similar series have been shot by HOT ENTERTAINMENT and we have them all in various stages of preparation for site publication. They're a bit different, but the core theme remains. Things change and studios evolve. Even our concept has 'advanced' throughout the years as both the studios and our site plays the never-ending game of producing and providing content that most viewers will like enough to buy. Is this one good enough for you? We sure hope so!
