Timing and Translation by JM84

AIKO SUZUHARA and this reviewer seem to be quite similar: we both seem to really, really, REALLY hate being hot. Of course that this reviewer unlike AIKO is not an attractive, pale, and certainly not carefree Japanese woman probably means that unlike her, stripping stark naked to cool down is a bad, bad idea. Because that--stripping naked then and there under a blue sky--is exactly how this impressively varied DREAMROOM movie commences.

If you've seen other recent outdoor updates by them, the flow of SEX ON THE BICYCLE UNDER A BLUE SKY may seem a bit similar. Each director (or actor/directors here) generally have a style and flow ready to go to make the shoot both economical and visually pleasing. Here, we actually get a bonus in a way: two movies for the price of one! The running time may only crawl past the hour mark, but it's AIKO twice both outside including sweaty van sex and again on the roof of a building somewhere opting again for sex instead of sunbathing. It's probably a better choice for her given her naturally pale skin. A tan AIKO would not be my ideal AIKO and going by her short, but fulfilling career that focused on her traditional looks, avoiding excessive UV was a great choice.

Surprisingly, this is something of a quiet update. AIKO SUZUHARA looks the type that is happy to let the world know how she feels, but we get something a bit more muted. Stage-fright perhaps? Or perhaps the feeling of engaging in the act of acts in such a brazenly open place was so energetic the passion of the piston stole away her voice? The second act may feature more unique positions including an impromptu but very welcome footjob though its the first act even though it concludes in a van that feels more authentic. Either way, a fun movie with an energetic and adorable performer that remains as real as it gets.
