As a fan of the hotwife genre (if it was not obvious already!), a major aspect is not only the consent and encouragement of the husband, but preferably with the strongest of convictions of having him be there when the act goes down. This was shown most recently in a really good--unexpectedly good all things considered--DREAMROOM update from a few months back and today we return with another spin on the kinda-sorta-depending-on-how-you-define-it unfaithful wife theme of Japanese AV.

Like the previous entry in this series, there is indeed a catch. For those catching up or perhaps starting with PLEASE MAKE ME A HOTWIFE - THIRD WHEEL EDITION 3, the catch is in a way in the title: there's an extra woman. What's more, the scenario is structured so the wife until that initial meeting is not in the know (but her husband, the woman herself, and Director Karaki are active instigators!). The story as to why she is there goes a bit deeper than this review will shed light on to avoid any more spoilers, but I am pleased to note that the torch of 'mischievous little devil' done so well in the past update by FUUKA NAGANO was passed flawlessly to MIKA TAKATSUKI. Her career bona fides may be lacking, but I found her cute, well put together, and really nailed it. Oh, and she's a switch-hitter!

Entering paragraph three of our review and not mentioned the star of the show may be descending into sub-par levels of etiquette our site is not known for thus: HARUKI ASHINA. Wow. I mean it. Haruki is basically KANA FUJI if she opted for a more lower key career rather than the 'exclusive' route. Yes, she is thin, but it's just as obvious this is not "I don't eat enough" thinness of concern and more "so yea, this woman may be an actual ballerina" type of build. In other words, like all regardless of gender and age, emit that 'healthiness' aura that truly makes most anyone beautiful beyond belief. Haruka is great and has a very approachable down to earth attitude. Also, as we see, just like with MIKA, she is also a switch-hitter. THIRD WHEEL 3 thus contains a surprising amount of lesbian play--more so than the previous one which while including more than your average amount, was mostly one-sided.

You'd think thin with all this praise, I'd consider this the crowning achievement of the series. The sex itself is out of this world. The lesbian play unexpected in its fierceness. The natural lighting in the bathing scenes as good as it gets. But there's a problem, and given GOGOS's focus on hyper-reality, a big one at that: this movie has the normal super slow buildup, but unlike other hotwife movies we have shown by them, the dialog feels...well, off. The Achilles' Heel in PLEASE MAKE ME A HOTWIFE - THIRD WHEEL EDITION 3 is this feels less like an ashamed/aroused Japanese wife going off with a JAV director and a plus one for some especially unique sex and more of a lucky pudgy guy getting to have a reverse threesome with two attractive women. The dialog is there and in droves, yes, but it does not feel as deep nor as focused as we have seen before. I don't know if we can really blame anyone. It could just be how the chemistry ended up panning out, but it does make this a movie that still visually nails it not the best one in the series.
