What OUR LONG AWAITED OUTDOOR DATE has going for it more than anything else is its first 20 minutes.  We get a ho-hum virtual date encounter followed by surprisingly well-shot outdoor sex.  Be it uncensored JAV or its more professionally-produced counterpart, shooting outdoors is never easy yet somehow DREAMROOM pulled it off.  Sure, this is absolutely not a public nudity JAV movie, but we get some great views of nature entwined with condom-free coitus.  Who can complain about that?

OUR LONG AWAITED OUTDOOR DATE tries to be one of those lovey-dovey date movies, but pretty much falls flat.  We're given a pale-skinned gyaru who is far and away a poor actress (when it comes to saying her lines at least) and an actor whom at one point in time was built like a tank, but really let himself go.  It's a weird thing to note in reviews, but I can't help but wonder what was going on in his life at that time due to how ripped he was just a few years before.

A movie like this does not break new ground.  The sex--both outdoors in the first scene and indoors later on--was good.  Great?  Not really.  It was intimate, realistic, and quite authentic.  It was less fan service where actors are put in unnatural positions for the sake of the viewer and more peeking at a real couple going at it in mildly unique ways.  SAKURAKO, one name only, doesn't leave much an impression.  Cute and lithe, but beyond that?  Going by her short career, her interests most likely were in doing a few uncensored movies for a quick payday and returning to the kyabakura that she almost certainly was working at.
