There's nothing as Japanese as pranking naked women at an onsen.  Really.  If there's one unique location/cultural event JAV can capitalize on that movies shot elsewhere cannot, it's making good use of bathhouses for naughty needs.  Having someone wear a kimono only to quickly discard it is as easy as easy gets.  Having embarrassed, naked women with extra large breasts run from a suddenly gender-swapped outdoor bathing area only to find themselves the nude centers of attention during a rowdy party of yukata-clad guests in a banquet hall is both insanely Japanese and something worth watching again and again.

This is what SADISTIC VILLAGE nails in their popular and legendary series, ITAZURA ONSEN, now in its fifth modern iteration and as of now, its last.  We get an army of instigators--some portraying bathhouse staff and others lodgers--whose mission objective is to make life for their targets as fraught yet arousing as possible.  ITAZURA ONSEN 5 takes various tried and true elements of the previous four and packages them in one 200+ minute movie.  I still don't think SADISTIC VILLAGE was able to capture the lighting in a bottle that was ITAZURA ONSEN 2 and certainly this fifth one is nowhere near as long as 4 with its gargantuan 8 hours of content.  That leaves it pretty much on the same level of ITAZURA ONSEN 3 but filmed in the nice, rustic ryokan used in the first one.

Like ITAZURA ONSEN 3, we only get two groups and sadly rather than two pairs of three, its of two, but casting was done very well.  Sure, none of those taking part with the slight exception of AIRI SATOU may be known names, but all are lookers and receive high marks for their only ones naked performances.  Along with having their clothes snatched, it's those events that follow that really make the title.  Seeing a drone fly away with their lingerie in the first encounter is classic ITAZURA and I'm also elated that the 'suddenly erotic massage' portion used in a scene from 2 was returned and used on both targets.  It's a nice way to add lovely massage footage to a JAV movie already bursting with goodness.

The sex for a lack of better phrasing is incredible.  Both scenes end with massive group sex events.  Foursomes with helpers.  Blowjobs for everyone.  And in the second encounter, we even get some bukkake thrown in.  All done with the thinnest mosaic you can possibly get given the time it was shot and also continues SADISTIC VILLAGE's reliance on only using real cum in their movies.  No fake creampies.  No creampies and that's not a minus for a movie like this.

As of writing this, ITAZURA ONSEN 5 is the last of its kind.  SADISTIC VILLAGE has done other bathhouse movies that plan to show, but so far none under the 'ITAZURA ONSEN' moniker.  Perhaps just like the five years or so after its original SD run they want to give the series a break?  It'd be easy to assume they stopped for financial reasons, but this under-the-radar studio even in the very modern era seems to regularly churn out movies with big casts.  My money's either on giving the series a good break or possibly having difficulties finding a good location as repeating ITAZURA ONSEN 4's biggest flaw (filmed on a small indoor bathhouse set used in way too many JAV movies to count) is something best not repeated.
