“Look, she’s a woman again”

I like JAV as much for the cultural expositions as the great sex. This one is adequate in the sex department — and five-star in the culture department. It is one of the highest quality films I’ve ever seen in adult video. Scripting is subtle and deliberate. Acting is first rate, and production values are excellent in the genre.

Japan today is generally depicted as a place of sexless marriages. Man and woman meet. Man and woman wed. Man and woman have sex. Man and woman become parents. Man and woman become partners/friends in a sexless, businesslike marriage. She raises offspring and runs the household. He works long, hard hours and pays the bills. They pass nights in different rooms, either in reality or metaphorically. The result is unfulfilled sexual demand. This video shows “pickup artists” taking advantage of the situation — filling that need for sexual fulfillment. They spot two women on the street. And this is where the fun begins.

The pickup artist sits down to “interview” the two women, and slyly plays them off against one another and their relationship. Innocent questions soon move to questions about how often they’re having sex. The younger woman is sexually active and the older woman hasn’t had sex in years — pent up demand is revealed. In one case the older woman says she is jealous, learning the younger one is having sex.
