For some people--foreigners in Japan mostly--the most important thing they want answered is how they did on the JLPT (and I'll be taking my results to the grave!). For JAV, the issues are...well, more dire. Or surely more unique! Surely more erotic. What we want to know above all is simple: if we convince two real life college friends to give each other a massage and towards the end of the explanation note how popular 'inner thigh' massaging is abroad, will they try it? Way more than test scores, this is what we want to know and thus we carry out an investigation to find answers that if you've seen enough JAV, should come as no surprise.

SOFT ON DEMAND is always coming up with the greatest ideas. While for the last decade or so (or gosh, has it been longer now?) they may be more known for their STARS line of exclusive actresses starring in mostly vanilla movies, their OG material for this writer at least reigns supreme. Would you rather see MANA SAKURA acting pretty in a relatively plot-less two hour sex romp or take a back seat and observe 'people monitoring'?  As we have noted many a time, while most prefer beauty, it's those JAV movies that ground themselves somewhat in reality that seem to be most popular on our site. As of writing this, the latest PETERS movie with a similar 'will real life acquaintances have sex under a weird situation?' movie has been published for only a few hours, but is already setting records. The people have spoken!

In REAL COLLEGE FRIENDS RUB GENITALS TOGETHER BUT END UP GOING ALL THE WAY, we get a rather nifty massage-themed movie with a twist noted above. More dedicated JAV fans are probably well aware of 'sumata', but we opted not to use it in the English title since it's not yet widespread in the west. "Sumata" is the act of well, rubbing genitals together. The technical term in English is "intercrural sex” which sadly does not have as sexy as a ring to it. The woman rests on top of a man--both naked in most situations--and rubs back and forth. A popular way certain services end their sessions in Japan (and you darn well know 99.9% of the men on the receiving end are always fantasizing about seeing if one accidental thrust at an off angle leads to...) and here finds its place in a dialog-packed 220 minute movie. For those hoping all three scenes focus heavily on this act, you will be bummed out. All do have sumata, but given the namesake, it plays a relatively minor role and when it does show up, the massages already have veered fully into sex country that 'inner thigh' rubbing is all but given to transition to full-on penetration.

All three scenes are great. Really. SOD did not cast huge names and of the three women, the only still active in some form is MIORI HARA whom has one of the cutest, most compact yet well-formed bodies of most any performer, active and retired. But I can't call her scene my favorite. I can't call any. All feature adorable moments and realistic performers especially during the extremely important moments when friends no longer become just friends. It's wonderful and aside from the slow buildup in the first scene (almost 50 minutes before a kiss!), it's incredibly well done.

Furthermore--and with this we'll close out this already prolix review--IT'S ALL REAL. Yes, this is one of those legendary SOD movies that do indeed feature raw sex and real nakadashi finishes. The tell-tale signs of fakery are not present though we don't get the MOBSTERS pull out for the first squirt (hands-free) and then go right back in seal of authenticity. MIORI HARA at least has been in a MOBSTERS movie and ERI HOSAKA (scene one) has a number of uncensored movies to her credit which never fake it so my money's on the third performer, KAHO MIYAZAKI, also doing it for real. Not exactly a series, but there is at least one more with this theme we plan to show in the future. REAL COLLEGE FRIENDS RUB GENITALS TOGETHER BUT END UP GOING ALL THE WAY delivers on most all fronts and gosh, what a beautiful location to boot!
