One thing predictable about our update schedule over the year is ensuring the one month period beginning from mid-December through mid-January features a number of breakthrough JAV movies. What do we at ZENRA consider a 'breakthrough' JAV movie? Simple: not necessarily curveball releases that studios sometimes put out to test the waters. Those are movies that seem to not necessarily think outside of the box, but are just far and away from the studio's normal forte to raise the eyebrows of even dedicated fans. A breakthrough movie, frankly, is one that is both extremely unique and really, really good. And on that note, I am happy to say today and Friday's four hour (!) pair of updates by PETERS most definitely is a breakthrough movie.

What's more, REAL COUPLE MONITORING - THE NEWLY MARRIED SWAPPING GAME is an excellent example of a movie that's both stimulating, titillating, and could actually happen. That--the wee bit of realism needed to ground a JAV movie--seems to be a major factor in success on our site at least. Studios like ROCKET of course get a pass, but otherwise, plain old vanilla sex scenes (with perhaps one exception due to a quirky novelty) just don't seem popular. The why in spite of them dominating sales charts can be saved for perhaps a long-form piece on our blog. For now at least, the best thing from the user's perspective is something that's both otherworldy Japanese, but also still feels like if they happened to be in the right place at the right time, it could be them...and their wife!

The name of the game and how it actually plays out are on point. PETERS really did something lovely though sadly, it seems like only one more movie with this theme was shot (don't worry, we will be showing it!). While we are not big on adding scene summaries to reviews, given the complexity of this movie's flow, it may be warranted: married couples out and about in Tokyo are approached by a guy wearing a shirt with none other than Sigmund Freud big and bold on the back on the back (hinting at the extreme mental calculus needed for what's to come or just the outfit the AD randomly picked out that morning?). They're asked about their relationship and one-on-one also asked 'how things are going'. This leads to them being invited to 'exchange opinions' with other couples. Though as we soon see, it turns out husband and wife are instructed to go to different rooms. In each, another spouse of the opposite gender awaits for the same reason. Soon we find out it's less about talking and more about playing 'simple' games that go from lovey-dovey to risque ('instruct the wife to put on a super skimpy outfit') to wildly sexual (JAV suddenly appears on TV!), and just when things can't get any weirder, they are told to have a look in the third box which contains condoms. Given that like the couple on their TV, this also is JAV and a scene ending with just the two soon to be cheating lovers talking would be a buzzkill, how these three encounters do pan out should be obvious.

Casting is excellent. All three wives are gorgeous and PETERS delivers something for most every taste. If you want long hair and seemingly experiencing, scene one. Short hair with legs that never end (my favorite)? Scene two. The surprisingly mischievous yet super cute wife who loves to fool around with masochistic husbands? The last scene. REAL COUPLE MONITORING - THE NEWLY MARRIED SWAPPING GAME may not be GOGOS-level hyper-reality, but it still works and is now one of our most unique and must-watch updates of all year.
