Anton's Top Five JAV Fan Meets

Hi y’all. Now that I’m back in the States, I’ve had some time to look back on my time as ZENRA’s field reporter, and think about my favorite fan meet events that I attended. So, for old time’s sake, today I wanted to do a countdown for my top five fan meet experiences. You might already have guessed them. But let’s see if I can surprise you.

5 - Sumire Mizukawa

Few people get a chance to meet a particularly beloved actress of theirs, but even fewer get to do so whilst experiencing issues with their digestive system that make the whole situation quite awkward. I guess I’m a very lucky lad then, since I belong to that elite few. Ah well. Even if I missed out on the chance to be a part of Sumire’s OnlyFans, I still got to meet her face to face, and get a funny story and a good experience out of it. What else could one ask for, really? Well, obviously quite a lot, but moving on.

4 - Emiri Okazaki

I went into this date test with very low expectations. I figured I wouldn’t be able to impress a woman who knows what foie gras is, and has been wooed by the richest of emirs. Yet somehow I passed the date test with flying colors, and had a genuinely fun time. So maybe that’s the important lesson to take from this experience and this job: Focus less on impressing your date and more on just having a good time. That’s what I’ll take at least.

3 - Momo Sakura

I’m still not entirely sure what happened with this fan meet event, but I would like to believe that Momo found me genuinely attractive. Even if going to bed with her was never on the table, and even if I never see her again, knowing that an A-List JAV actress such as her really thought that I was hot is a real confidence booster, and something that I will take with me whenever I see a beautiful woman across the bar and wonder if she’s out of my league. If I was good enough for Momo, then yeah, I think I will go up to that woman and say hi.

2 - AIKA

You’d think, given how I got to have Momo Sakura paw my chest while biting her lip, or how I got to go on a date with the ethereal Emiri Okazaki, that they would rank higher on the list. And yet, when I am lying in my bed and the memories of my time in Japan come flooding back to me, I find my mind wandering mostly back to the event that kicked it all off. I remember bringing everyone ice cream, wandering around the store, being allowed to buy a calendar, the song that was playing when I took AIKA’s pictures, impressing her with my height, and just what an all-around cool person AIKA was. She was awesome. I’ve met a lot of actresses, but AIKA made me think to myself “Dang, I wish I could just hang out with you after this. You seem like someone who’d be fun to just grab a drink and chat with.” And someone else who agrees with me on that assessment is

1 - June Lovejoy

AIKA made me wish I could hang out with her afterwards. But June is the only actress I met that made me wish that I could truly become friends with them. Not just colleagues, but pals. Now, I should clarify. I met June three times for three events. So if I had to pick one event with them to represent my absolute favorite event, it would be Fetifes. The Fetish Festival was one hell of a trip, and I met so many people and did so many things there. But, perhaps more than anything, the reason it’s my favorite event is when June suggested I become a full-time JAV writer, laying out for me the path that I could take to become a sort of JAV Jake Adelstein. I had it all there for me, and yet, I ended up not going down that path, because, as life-changing and fun as this field reporting job was, I don’t think making it my career would make me truly happy. Not when there are so many other things I want to do with my life.

That’s why, even though I look back on these memories with wistfulness, even as there are actresses I wish I could have met, articles I wish I could have written, and genuine friendships I wish I could have made, I am satisfied with the memories I have. If I ever make it back to Tokyo someday, I’d certainly be down to do more field reports, and perhaps even take June up on that offer they made. But until then, let’s focus on the other dreams I have.
