FC’s Best of JAV 2022

Welcome to another end of the year installment. It’s been a year of great JAV and I am here to talk about all about them. The brightest upcoming stars, the top studios, the best looking women, and more. This is the best of the best of them. This is FC’s Best of JAV 2022.

Starting us off are the Rising Stars of 2022. Every year we see some actresses breakout. Either new names or older ones experiencing a career boosting renaissance. We kick off with the best of brightest Rino Yuki. A 2020 rookie, she has had both quantity and quality for the year. A game actress who works with any studio that will take her, to mainstream studios to more hardcore and niche ones. Great across the board in looks, body, performing, and works a ton to boot. Rino Yuki is the girl to look out for. Next up is Hana Shirato with her dimpled cheeks and slender figure. A pale beauty with the girl next door looks that drive fans wild. Even better is that Hana is quite kinky and under that innocent facade is devilish imp. Her popularity is making her regular in the mainstream but you can still expect a strange oddity of a title here and there with her. Such as one taking place in a storm drain.

Even if we took off all the compilations, her release schedule has been jam packed. The future of JAV is bright in these hands.

Idea Pocket, Premium, Hon Naka

Next we highlight the excellence coming from the studios as a whole. The big time studio Idea Pocket gets my first nod. A maker of high quality videos that can be well shot, lit, and produced. This year they included more drama and plot heavy stories into their titles. IP have also built up a roster that can compete with the juggernaut S1 with the likes of Kana Momonogi, Momo Sakura, Minami Aizawa. With rising stars in Anna Kami and Hikari Azusa and very promising new rookies in Honoka Furukawa, Rin Hachimitsu, and Ruisa Totsuki. They took a loss in losing Karen Kaede but that exclusive roster can stand with anybody.

Next up is Premium a maker that likes to focus on their aesthetic quality. They use a mix of exclusive and freelancing actresses. Presenting their beautiful talent in an elegant light. However they also like to upend that as their talent can get down and dirty. I like to think of them as an off brand S1 only their talent is more slender and wilder. Their team up titles are a delight and they are one of the few studios that likes to collaborate with other studios. This year we saw them lend out Aika Yamagishi with a title costarring kawaii’s Mayuki Itou. A duo title that gave fans plenty of girl on girl action from two exclusive stars.

Finally we have Hon Naka, a studio mainly known for their creampies. I’m not here for their creampies no I’m here to highlight their well-made scenarios, well-acted stories, and variety. They could have teacher ass title, gals in bikinis, aggressive femdoms with M men, South Korean parodies, or even a VR parody based on Avatar (the bad one not the air bending one). From dramas, to costumes, to candid camera themes; Hon Naka has kept up the variety and keeps it fresh. Simple but well executed premises that are loads of fun. And a little shout out to studio Das! for their variety in more hardcore content.

We move from studios to series. When studios find a style they like they will mass produce that real quick. A top tier series right now has to be Idea Pocket’s Kissing Tutor. It puts their top tier talent as the irresistible tutors of failing students. Using their tongues as a reward they whip their students into shape. Simple in concept; it’s just the regular tutor theme with added intimacy and executed beautifully. It’s both beautifully shot with a closer angle to hone in on their talent's face and expressions. The encouraging tutor roles are played so well by their stars. It’s a series that most of their girls have all starred in with spinoffs too.

Next up is Madonna and their Personal Trainer series. Ai Mukai had an early version of this series but it’s taken them this year to make it a series. Next are a pair of SOD series both by the same director Dazai Chinpo. Two really new series that I am so exited to see more of. First is their Hairdresser series. A sneaky sex title that has hairdresser sticking their tongues deep into the mouths of their customers. The best thing about the series is the outfits. They give the girls some really nice and trendy street wear. Most of which stays on during the action. Next is the Gal Party Girl series which moves from sneaky to straight up public sex with stylish gal outfits galore. Pretty nice to see a title where they dress up their girls into gals and have sex in the middle of a crowded club.

Let’s give some shine to actresses that rarely get it. Mahina Nagai continues to be one of the best actresses around that is running under the radar. Next is the rookie Rei Kamiki. One of my favorite debuts this year. A pale faced vision with such pleasing facial symmetry and proportions. From her cute sharp eyes to that rounded nose. SOD has a girl who can sit next to Suzu Honjo as one of the prettiest around. Then there is Futaba Kurimiya. A kawaii debut from last year whose gone under the radar. While not the best performer she does have a solid body and a truly eye catching face. This brunette has a big and chiseled jawline but with soft facial features. Including a pair of captivating eyes. All with a very vacant and almost scowl default facial expression. This aloof beauty can stare at me all day.

She saw a bit of a popularity bump in the recent year or so and I’m not entirely sure why. A long time Madonna exclusive she has looked better than ever doing to same thing for a while now with her short hair. Whatever she is doing it has resonated with fans with this old name popping up on sales charts. You can count me among the recent converts. Another name that’s been awhile but seems to be experiencing a little surge is Iroha Natsume. The Attackers native has made some of her best work in JAV this year.
