JAV Series Worth Reviving Vol. 2

More! More! More!

As I was writing the previous volume, I came upon a problem: there are too many good series that I want to come back! Which is a good problem to have, I suppose. So I realized that this article has a potential to be a series…about series. I decided to keep writing these, and keep the variety in my picks. It’s so much fun to imagine what a series reboot could look like, especially when I’m casting my own faves. 

So here are a few more JAV series that I personally want to be reboot! Hopefully you’ll find a few new things to put on your radar. 

We're Our New Stepfather's Sex Toys

Example: PRED-159 Starring Eimi Fukada and Ai Hoshina

Goated series with the irreplaceable Masahiro Tabuchi. It’s honestly weird that it only has two entries so far considering both those entries have considerable star power. The premise is two innocent step-sisters living under the same household are corrupted one by one by their lecherous stepfather. This very short lived series worked so well because Masahiro Tabuchi is the best actor for the corruption genre. He has this mix of charm, sleezyness and powerful presence that makes the story and the sex seem like a believable mind bender.

The Reboot

It was a bit tough to pick for this series because I am limiting myself to realistic choices that are within the company, and Premium, while a good company, is suffering a bit from lack of roster variety. Their top two(for me, at least) Karen Yuzuriha and Aika Yamagishi are a bit of a mismatched pair for this series. But Aika as a choice has potential since she’s a very versatile actress. The next conundrum was her partner. My immediate choice was Akari Mitani but that pair up, while amazing, already has a lot of output together. So who to pair Aika up with? I went through their recent videos and Miu Shiramine caught my eye. Miu was always at the back of my mind, but I do like her face and I like her in more innocent roles. While the potential of this pair up is not immediately apparent, I do think there's a case to be made here. Picture this: Aika as the slim modelesque older sister. Miu as the more buxom but paradoxically more innocent younger sister. A play on contrasts but both capable of transforming in semen demons in their own way, competing for the same step-dick. 

DIGITAL CHANNEL

Example: SUPD-115 Staring Rola Misaki

DIGITAL CHANNEL used to be Idea Pocket’s premium line. They even reserved a special code for it, instead of mixing it in the same mainline code being used by most of the Idea Pocket releases. A storied history with some amazing JAV greats like Rio, Aino Kishi, Ai Uehara, Jessica Kizaki among others. High production value from cover to video, making their JAV stars shine as bright as possible. The sample video, SUPD 115 is one of my favorite Rola Misaki videos. This angelic actress performing in this iconic series was a personal highlight of her career for me.

The Reboot

DIGITAL CHANNEL used to be the cream of the crop but it has been neglected for many many years now, it’s last entry was in 2017 it seems. Why? Well, my take on this is that the industry has shifted priorities. Paying so much for a high production series like DIGITAL CHANNEL doesn’t seem worth it with the streaming era making videos so populous and so accessible. Also, the series itself has stagnated and lost its identity it seems with the last iteration. Although the lineup of actresses had potential(though still kind of weak compared to this series’ history), the concept failed to evolve and still tailored to the same old vanilla formula.

No Panties, No Bra Date

Example: SNIS-455 starring Saki Okuda

I love date themed JAV. Going around Japan with a pretty girl is pretty fun. And if this pretty girl happens to be a JAV Pornstar, great. And if this JAV Pornstar happens to be not wearing any underwear under her thin summer clothes, amazing. And if during the course of this date, you get to fuck this pretty JAV pornstar still wearing her skimpy summer clothes in risque public situations, then it’s a dream come true. Keeping things simple and sweet. 

The Reboot

Now would be a perfect time to revive this series as S1 is having a big titty renaissance era. For this series to work, the more curvaceous beauties get to highlight their assets. So many good choices for actresses in this revival right now but I narrowed it down to two: Hikaru Nagi or Yu Tano. I went big massive for curves for the maximum visual effect. Hikaru Nagi is shaping up nicely to be a generation-defining actress with her beautiful elf-like features and her excellently sculpted plastic beauty. But Yu Tano is one of those all natural beauties, both in looks and charisma, that is a perfect fit for a casual date fuck like this. Either are a great choice for the reboot, so take your pick!

Best 100! (Idea Pocket)

Example: IPZ-712 Starring Kaho Shibuya

If you read my previous article, I featured Prestige’s Endless Sex series which highlights 50 men vs 1 woman. So what’s better than 50 men? Try 100. This is the series that awoke my love for gangbangs. So I knew I had to feature this one. This series, specifically, was a bit of an odd one because it featured rising stars in JAV at around the time before they hit their peak points. So it acted like an introduction to what level of debauchery they can take, really. It was also challenging which of the Best 100! Films to choose as a sample because I do love them all! The classy Iori Kogawa, the bubbly Matsuri Kiritani all went through the gauntlet with plenty of cum on their faces. But I had to choose and I chose the irreplaceable Kaho Shibuya. She’s such a succubus and she did well with the lucky 100 dicks she sucked and fucked in that movie.

The Reboot

The Idea Pocket line up is actually great but they are having a bit of ‘vanillization’ problem as well, with more exclusive actresses preferring less stressful roles over these challenging films like this one. Perhaps it's just a sign of the times that movies like this one slowly became less trendy. But if this series were to be revived, I had my hands down on one pick who would be the perfect actress for this: Honoka Furukawa. This slim princess looks classy, is a bit demure and understated. But man, when she’s turned on, she’s a cum demon. She is also in that category of actresses on the rise that this series was known for. Honoka deserves it, she’s easily one of my current favorites and a big challenging shoot like this one might just propel her to that classy slut who can take it to a hardcore level. (Kind of like Iori Kogawa)
