There have been some truly amazing releases within the past five years. However some films, for one reason or another, have truly disappointed and underwhelmed. While some are worse than others I believe these are the bottom of the barrel. Sometimes it's due to poor acting, terrible sex or horrible production qualities. Now to clarify I'm not picking any videos with actresses I don't watch or choosing genres that I don't enjoy, at least to some degree. With that out of the way let's dig in with number 10...

10. MKMP-722

"Insertion And Removal Pat! Finest Shaved W Soap"

When I first saw this cover I thought "wow what an amazing pairing, no way this can be bad", but boy was I wrong. The premise is straightforward with Ruka Inaba and Kokoa Aisu serving you as they play soapland girls. Now what exactly makes this film so bad? Well for starters the pacing is incredibly slow. The scenes are dragged out with a vast amount of focus on lotion play, kissing and grinding. It results in an extremely bloated runtime of 4 hours. It's all very repetitive which is partially attributed to the bland and reused settings. Also it's all shot mainly in POV but unfortunately there's some angles and shots here that really break that immersion.

Performances are another negative as the pair do not interact with each other at all. The chemistry between the two is completely non-existent. Ruka does a fine job in her solo scenes at least but Kokoa is very underwhelming. Her energy is lacking and she feels disconnected from the whole video. So if the acting and premise are a letdown well surely there must be some great threesome scenes at least, right? You would be mistaken. There's one threesome scene for the entire video and it's a joke. Ruka is the only one having sex while Kokoa sits off to the side and does nothing. I will say Ruka looks absolutely amazing but beyond that there's little reason to give this a watch. Just don't bother.

9. PPPD-555

"The Spencer Gland Development Clinic"

This series here has to be one of the worst ever from studio Oppai. It's so completely ridiculous and dumb resulting in one of Hitomi's worst videos ever. The whole plot, if you wanna call it that, is centered around stimulating her tits and apparently some special gland. First off this premise is completely asinine and is just an excuse for lots and lots of titty play. Which in of itself can be enjoyable for sure but not here. One reason is her over the top acting. Her facial expressions and moans are so absurd from even just minor stimulation. It's difficult to take anything seriously here.

One other major reason this film flounders is the pacing and sex. There's so much bullshit here. First half hour of the film is just rubbing oil on her tits and massaging them. Now I will say the actual sex scenes aren't that bad however all the focus on stimulating and groping her tits bloat the runtime to an extreme high. It gets so repetitive and tiring. In addition the camerawork can be quite spotty. There's some nice shots here and there but at the same time there's some truly baffling angles that make no sense. All this results in a truly terrible film with it's asinine plot, over the top acting and horrible pacing. I may love Hitomi but this film is awful.

8. SNIS-945

"Peeping Real Document!"

I absolutely loathe this series from S1. Despite the great cover this video is a complete snoozefest. It basically follows Aika Yumeno going on a private date, returning to a hotel and having sex. Not much else to it beyond that. Now why will this film bore you to tears? Well for starters the first 45 minutes is spent just on interviews and footage of them drinking and eating together. In fact no real sex happens til over an hour and 15 minutes in. In total there's actually only 3 scenes for the entire film. All the time in-between is spent on interviews, chit-chat and just general filler. I'm sure if you can understand Japanese you'll get more out of it but to me it's extremely unrewarding.

The other major negative is the action and sex itself. Not only is it incredibly vanilla but its filmed via mostly static camerawork. That means using one or two set camera shots for the entire scene. I understand its used to convey a voyeur feel but I personally can’t stand it. None of the shots are particularly great or satisfying. Plus as I mentioned there's only 3 scenes with two being sex scenes and the other a handjob scene. At the very least Aika Yumeno's performance is solid but that's about all the praise I can give. Some of you out there may really enjoy this type of theme but I absolutely do not. Its dull, slow paced and wastes so much of your time. What an absolute snoozer of a film.

7. MIDE-506

"Ultra High-Class See-Through Underground Sex Club"

This film is cover bamboozle at it's finest. The overall premise here is pretty loose as the main focus is just on see-through outfits and an underground sex club aesthetic. How does this film manage to disappoint? Let me count the reasons. First off is her performance. Across the board her acting is mediocre and at best just average. To be fair she's not really given much to work with but still under delivers. Next up is a cardinal sin of JAV. That being the cover outfit that draws you in, is just used in an incredibly bland and forgettable fingering scene that lasts about 15 min. Going off of that is the bland action. Some scenes aren't that bad don't get me wrong but nothing here will blow you away. It's all unremarkable.

Another strike against this film is the complete waste of some really stunning outfits. The wardrobe variety is excellent but it's incredible underutilized. MOODYZ packs in so many scenes in it's 3 hour runtime that you're barely given enough time with them before another scene begins. But by far my least favorite aspect here is the incredibly dim lighting throughout the entire film. I understand it helps set the mood and it suits the aesthetic but nearly every scene looks like it was lit with just the light from the camera or a single lamp in the corner. Some may not  mind it but personally I can't stand it. Don't be fooled by this enticing cover. MIDE-506 belongs in the trash.

6. STAR-993

"Enjoy Titty Sucking Baby Play As She Gently Says To You, Let Me Help You Get Off"

Just what the hell happened here? POV and Marina never disappoint but man, this film blows. Normally Marina and POV go together like peanut butter and jelly such as in STAR-665 and STAR-905. However that’s not the case here sadly. Now STAR-993 features one of the most bizarre plots for a pov film I’ve ever seen. This one is all about “baby play” as you are an infant and over the course of the film you grow older. It’s very weird even for jav and I really didn't enjoy it. Anyway I can overlook that if the action is good at least but even that misses the mark, by a wide margin actually. Starting out with the sex scenes of which there are 3 of them. Sounds good except for the fact that 2/3 feature just ONE position.

The filler scenes are terrible too with utterly forgettable paizuri and handjob scenes. In addition the lighting is awful as some scenes are way too damn bright and look completely unnatural. In addition the pacing is quite poor too as some scenes take way too long to get going. Now I will say her performance is quite good as you’d expect from Marina as she’s bubbly, warm and inviting here. Also she looks terrific as well. She goes for the “milf” look and absolutely nails it. Even wearing a pair of jeans that look very sexy on her. Still though the action is just so, so bad with little to nothing worth watching. By far one of her worst films to date.

5. WANZ-750

"Totally Anal Twitching Sex All The Time"

Anal and Yuu Shinoda this should be a winning combination right? On paper that sounds pretty great but in execution it fails miserably. May be a bold statement but anal in JAV is nearly always bad and this film is a perfect embodiment of that as WANZ-750 is downright awful. There’s next to no plot here as it just focuses on Yuu’s asshole and anal. Pretty cut and dry overall. Now one of the biggest issues with this video is the fact that there’s no actual sex until over 70 minutes in. They literally spend an hour just examining her ass and asshole in the first scene. And when the sex does finally happen its nothing special.

Funny enough that first sex scene doesn't even feature anal at all despite a huge chunk of the scene being devoted to fingering and playing with her asshole After that there's a mediocre assjob scene and finally an anal sex scene that is fine but nothing more. Her performance isn't any better as she can be quite whiny and lacks enthusiasm. She really doesn't seem to be having a good time here and that's always a big complaint I have with anal in JAV. I will say that Yuu looks pretty good at least but that’s not nearly enough to save this film. It gets off to one of the slowest starts I’ve ever seen and features mediocre action and acting. Don't bother with this awful film.

4. JUFE-018

"My Bitchy Female Boss Is A Slave To My Big Cock"

By far this is one of the worst Kaori videos I’ve ever seen and sadly enough it was one of her last. This film stumbles in quite literally every aspect. For this film the plot is very loose but it mainly revolves around her becoming a sex slave to her boss over the course of the film. Not really a plot that I enjoy too much so already off to a great start. Now where should I go from here? For starters her performance is terrible as she’s incredibly submissive, which is expected sure, but she’s super low energy throughout the whole film. She's not engaging at all and as a whole delivers one of the most underwhelming performances of her career.

Her appearance is another huge downside to this film. Sorry to say but physically Kaori is very out of shape in this film. She definitely started to let herself go by the end of her career and it shows here. And unfortunately her wardrobe is forgettable as well with no memorable outfits to speak of. But worst of all here is the absolutely terrible action. The settings for the scenes are drab and dull, the lighting is awful and worst of all the camerawork is trash. It’s mostly all shot via static cameras so at times you’re watching the action from an off angle 10 feet away. In addition the pacing is unforgivably slow and just drags and drags. There’s absolutely nothing redeeming here. Stay far away from this one.

3. LID-057

"Men's Nipple Pleasure Salon"

Quite possibly one of the dullest videos I've ever seen with easily one of the worst all time performers ever. This particular video is a basic massage themed release with an emphasis on nipple play. So naturally there's lots of kissing and licking the guy’s nipples. While I can enjoy a good massage premise once in a awhile I personally loathe nipple play. It can be so incredibly dull and boring, which is a reoccurring theme of this video honestly. Anyway one of the biggest faults of this video is the action. There’s only one sex scene throughout the whole video with the other scenes being handjobs, blowjobs and outercourse.

In addition the pacing is so exceptionally slow and the use of nipple play gets incredibly stale. But what really sends this film to the bottom of the dumpster is her awful performance. Mika Sumire is easily one of the worst performers I have ever witnessed. She has next to no emotion or energy here at all. Most times just looking completely dead inside. While she’s not super whiny or anything she’s just very, very boring to watch and has one of the coldest glares I've ever seen. All this is a shame because I do like her fake boobs and her body. But nothing can save this terrible film from it's awful premise, horrible acting and very mediocre action.

2. BBZA-003

"Perverted Marine Sports Naked Scuba Diving"

This film features one hell of an enticing cover for sure and boasts a somewhat ambitious concept. But that’s as far as the highlights go I’m afraid as it's quite easily one of the worst films in recent memory. The video’s premise centers around scuba diving and underwater action. Now you may be thinking “oh well that could be fun”. I’m here to say absolutely not. The scenes here are all flat out awful with nothing redeeming about them at all. Such as a scene featuring the cover outfit but it quickly goes to shit as she puts on scuba gear covering it up and even then its just a bland handjob scene…underwater.

There’s a few sex scenes but they’re so incredibly boring, slow paced and uninteresting. They lack any real originality and are completely forgettable. Her performance is pretty lackluster as well but to be fair it’s hard to act when you’re underwater with scuba gear on. Even still in the scenes where she's above water she doesn't perform any better to be honest. She's super submissive and whiny all around. While I can somewhat admire the attempt at trying something different here it just doesn't work at all. This film is just a complete waste of time. Terrible sex and terrible execution amounts to a complete dumpster level film.

1.NGOD-039

"My Wife With Big Tits Got Fucked By Her Previous Student When He Got Out Of Jail"

Admittedly I've never been a huge fan of the NTR and cuckold genre but once in a while I do enjoy it. This is not one of those times as this film is devoid of any positives and belongs in the dumpster. The plot, as far as I understand it, casts Shiori Tsukada as a married woman who is a teacher. One of her students who has recently gotten out of jail has come to visit her and stay with them. The husband ends up setting the two up to have sex after he notices the student being very attracted to her. The film then follows the two having sex while the husband record it all and watches from the shadows. It's a very plot driven film with a heavy emphasis on cuckolding and drama. I cannot stand drama heavy films so right off the bat I was put off. And hell even if you are into that genre this film will still disappoint for a variety of reasons.

The action is terrible for one. No sex happens til over an hour in and even then it's awful thanks to fixed camerashots. Next is a blowjob scene filmed via a phone that ends with her getting a cumshot in her mouth and just spitting it out. Very lame. Last scene is a slightly more dynamic sex scene but still ends up as average at best. Another negative is the pacing. I get the slow build up is on purpose to accentuate the plot but it doesn't help when the first 3 scenes incorporate the EXACT same room and camerashot pretty much. Now this could be bearable if Shiori's acting was good, which it's not. In fact her performance is awful. She's so incredibly low energy here with weak facial expressions and is prone to heavy whining. She turns it around a bit at the end but its too little too late. I cannot recommend this to anyone, not even fans of NTR and cuckolding. It's by far one of the worst film I've seen in years. Stay far, far away.
