Pubic Hair in JAV - With or Without?

Pubic hair is something most people have, and while some are of the opinion that such genital hair is gross, unclean, and distasteful, there are just as many people who prefer it on a woman and believe it can look cute. When actors and actresses strip down in JAV, their pubic area is usually visible, and whether or not the individual in question has pubic hair will likely play an impact on how much you'll like the upcoming scene.

Of course, some actors/actresses may opt to shave or trim their area, which might change opinions completely. In this article, I'm going to discuss pubic hair at length, explain how it can be attractive, and some ways in which it can be less savory. I will also talk about paipan (no pubic hair), as well as pubic hair on male actors as well.

The first thing that comes to mind to many when the topic of pubic hair is brought up, is that many are of the opinion that girls can look cute with hair down there. I tend to agree, and each girl's genital hair can look different, whether it be the formation/quantity, or perhaps the thickness. While I haven't seen many JAV actually do this, there's also the possibility of cutting it into specific shapes, an opportunity that perhaps might be good for a comical "plot-centric" JAV. Sort of like say a womb tattoo, or perhaps "magical runes" you see placed on that area in hentai as part of the comedic "plot".

Every girl grows pubic hair, so there's a level of genuineness as well when a JAV has an actress who is unshaven. Considering the female actress' pubic hair is usually right in your face during vaginal penetration, it can play a vital role in a scene and help to make it better or worse. A girl's lower bush could be large or small, with small being less distracting and large being more noticeable, so some might end up being more focused on the hair for such scenes where the camera is down there.

Pubic hair in general also feels more natural and almost "animal-like", for lack of a better term. In a way, such an actress gives off an aura (in my opinion) that she'll be more wild during her sex scenes, which I believe would make scenes better.

There are times when the pubic hair could be really overgrown and nasty-looking, and while I would see that as a negative, there is a type of JAV where women have sex with ugly men, and that's apparently a fetish for many; the grotesque pubic hair only adds to this and amplifies the ugliness. I figured this would at least be worth mentioning.

I'm also of the perspective that girls can look pretty when completely shaven down there as well. When a woman's lower area is clean and free of all hair, I find it not at all distracting and easier to focus on her genitalia. This is one benefit as it has the watcher being focused on the woman's genitalia and not on hair; after all, intercourse involves the genitalia. You don't watch a tit fuck scene for example to be distracted by the woman's hair (on her head), or something.

In this section I'll also discuss the negative aspects of pubic hair, and an obvious one is the fact that the woman can get the hair in her mouth. This (I imagine) must be really gross and highly distracting, and could possibly keep her from focusing on her oral and impacting her performance. Though, a bigger negative aspect for the actual viewer is naturally the "stray pube". You could see one of the male actors pubic hairs sticking out from the woman's mouth or stuck to her face - this is grotesque (at least for me). There's nothing more off-putting than seeing a woman giving oral, and there's a gross hair stuck to her. Thankfully, you hardly ever see this in JAV, but there's little that could put me off more. With shaved hair, this is, of course, not a problem.

The ejaculation in a scene can also be partially impacted by pubic hair on the woman. When the man comes, there's a possibility he comes on the woman, and it could get caught on her pubes. In my opinion, this makes things look a bit more gross, but with a shaven woman, the come just ends up on her body, which I think is a more alluring sight.

Since I'm straight, and the fact that the majority of positive traits are applicable to both sexes, this segment will be shorter. Frankly, I can't see many positives to male pubic hair, other than the fact that it's stereotyped to make men seem more "manly", much like with hair on the chest. So in a way, that's one light positive, and other than that I can't really think of any others, which leads well into the next segment.

I would sooner prefer the male actors to be shaved because I believe pubic hair is more distracting for them. I'm sure this is probably because I'm straight, but I can only think pubic hair on a man makes them less palatable during sex scenes. When the hair is visible in the shot, I believe it's distracting, but it's often not distracting to the point that it completely ruins a scene. I merely think of it as a minor annoyance, unless perhaps the hair is highly unkempt and gross-looking or really overgrown where it shouldn't be, then it's usually an issue. However, that is rarely ever the case.

In a lot of instances as well, pubic hair can often extend down to around the asshole. While I suppose this isn't so much "pubic hair" anymore, I think it's worth bringing up as the hair is often visible with some camera angles, and that hair can often be gross to see, especially so on a man. In fact, I think it might be worse on a woman, since a woman is what I want to see when watching JAV/pornography. That's just my two cents, though.

Much like with females, a male with a shaven genital region makes the watcher more closely stare at their actual genitals, as opposed to the hair. This can have its benefits I suppose, though not as much if you're a straight watcher.

While I mentioned before about gross-looking pubic hair, there's something else to take into consideration, and it's that the pubic hair isn't always visible (or at least, not fully visible). During a tit fuck for example, less of the man's pubic hair is visible, so gross-looking pubes aren't as much of an issue depending on what the sex is, and the camera angle.

Back on the other subject where I talked about pubic hair on a man being deemed as "masculine", which is something I agree with: seeing a man without pubic hair, while less distracting for sex scenes, can often make the man look a little on the "wimpy" side. I often associate clean-shaven areas as being a womanly thing, so I often view a clean-shaven male as less masculine. This would lead me into believing the male actor to be less proactive and perhaps more on the feminine or "shy" side. This can have its benefits and negatives of course, and these are only my initial assumptions of the actor, and not a reflection of their actual actions/attitude. However, I do believe these initial impressions can play a part on whether or not a watcher will like a scene/JAV.

In summation, I only really view pubic hair as a detriment on males, because I'm straight and women are what I (purposely) intend to ogle while observing JAV. While it can have its drawbacks for females as well, I believe women can look enticing with and without pubic hair. Pubic hair can have an impact on the watcher's initial attitude towards the actors, much like how the size of a woman's chest could have a man immediately turned off or turned on, or perhaps have higher/lower expectations based on their personal preferences.

Though the removal of pubic hair on the male actors is something I mostly consider a benefit, it can affect their appearance and have me assuming them to be of a more passive and less dominant nature. Despite these clear positive and negative traits, I think overall I prefer men to just simply be shaven, and as for women, I think I mostly prefer them shaven as well. Pubic hair can just be too distracting sometimes, and while women can look good with it, I think all the benefits of being shaven outweighs the positives of pubic hair.
