Physical

Facially I thought Ruu was just okay. I felt like I actually liked her more when she had long brown hair instead of the short blonde hair. The new style makes her look quite a bit different and I think the fact that short-haired blondes are rare in the JAV industry does make her stand out. Some might enjoy her standing out because she's more unique, but I'm not one of those people. Especially the photos on her social media with a lot of extra makeup, I'm in for a much more natural appearance, or at least one with less overdone makeup. I'm not saying she's flat out unattractive but she doesn't really do anything for me with her current look. That being said, the peak of her as a brunette is quite high, she looks very beautiful in that first picture.

Ruu's tits were quite nice. They were very big and full and looked great. Maybe they could have had slightly better shape or slightly better shaped areola, but I feel like I'm just grasping at straws here. They're not my favourite of this year's debuts I can tell you that, but they will certainly be in the running for second best.

Ruu's ass was actually quite nice as well. She was generally fairly thicc and I found myself liking it. Now, Ruu did a horrible job of making it look nice, she couldn't really arch her back in a way that made it look nice, but it was still good. I feel like if she had a bit more experience under her belt and got some pointers she might be able to have an amazing ass.

Performing

Ruu's performing was pretty average, I would say. I didn't dislike her during the plot parts even if she did nothing special, it was definitely serviceable. During intercourse she moaned a lot and was only able to say things like "kimochii desu ka" (does it feel good?) which is something everyone says. She did smile a few times during the action and got the guy to play with her boobs as though she knew what her best qualities were.

Ruu's paizuri was pretty solid, which is always great to see. Yeah, a lot of that kind of came for free because of the size of her tits, but a lot of actresses simply can't do it right. I'll take whatever I can get, and I'd love to catch her in some paizuri-focused content.

Video Review

Ruu Yumemi plays a busty soapland lady who gives her customers some great service.

The performance from Ruu wasn't much of anything. Soapland doesn't give the greatest opportunities and Ruu didn't do all that much. She went through the motions as anyone would and moaned when he started touching her, as many would. I can't exactly fault her for that performance but at the same time it's not exactly an inspiring performance.

The content itself was rather simplistic as well. That's what you get out of soapland and I guess I knew what I was getting coming into it. First scene blowjob, second scene soaping up, third in the tub, and in the fourth they finally had sex. I always kind of dislike how much they shift sex to the end, but at least the video was an extra half hour long to compensate for it. It had both sex on a mat with some mat play and  on a bed, so you got the usual variety. As far as soapland video goes it's the same average thing you expect. They did spice it up with a second girl showing Ruu what to do in one scene, which I've certainly seen before but is generally quite rare.

Career

Ruu's career is in a bit of an awkward state right now. She had releases in April, June, September, October, and November. It's odd for someone like her to not be shooting every month, especially when she lists herself as a Moodyz exclusive on her Twitter bio. She's skipping a December release, which sounds like she's releasing only every other month on average. It doesn't feel like what Miu Nakamura does and I can't see Ruu being nearly as popular as Miu to make that a good arrangement, so I'm not really sure what's going on. Ruu did come from gravure so I feel like she had some understanding of what this would be like. I think trying to read into it too much is the wrong thing, she's still active on Twitter, says she's a Moodyz exclusive, and we'll just have to accept she'll skip releases sometimes.

Verdict

I plan to watch them again eventually.

I would say that I'm lukewarm about Ruu. Obviously it's her curves that stand out and they're very nice. I would say I'm really not a fan of her short blonde hair, especially when she goes over the top with all that makeup, but she looked fantastic earlier on and who knows what the future has in store for her. Her performance was enough to satisfy for a newcomer and she has plenty of time to improve. Now, that does all depend on Ruu actually continuing to release content. I can't see anything that would suggest she's done but at the same time she is skipping her December release and is only averaging once every other month. I'm not a huge fan of what Miu Nakamura does (consistently releasing once every other month) and hope that isn't what Ruu ends up doing. At any rate, I think those curves are enough to make me come back when she has a solid release, especially since the first video I watched wasn't something I was excited for (I'm not much of a soapland fan).
