July 28th might go down as a black day in JAV’s history as the industry’s poster girl, Moe Amatsuka announced to cease filming JAVs from next year. To be honest, never in my wildest dream did I think that she’d come to this conclusion. The 30 year old has been making our dicks hard for what feels like forever, and sadly now has a year left to her adult career. It’s a surreal feeling altogether.

Moe’s announcement comes after her agency BStar announced that Moe will hold a special livestream on Youtube that set the stage for her retirement announcement. Honestly, nobody expected that she would make a revelation like this over a livestream on her YouTube channel.

Moe took to her Twitter & wrote, "At today's FC party and the YouTube broadcast earlier, I was able to convey everything I wanted to say! I, Amatsuka Moe, will be retiring from adult acting at the end of June next year! In the time I have left, I want to give it my all to create as many opportunities as possible for you to meet, so that you'll be fully satisfied, so I'd love it if you could give it your all and live your youth with me until the very last moment. I'll see it through! Yeah!"

At the time of writing this column her retirement tweet has been viewed over half a million times and the industry is still reeling in. Renowned names from the industry picked up on the announcement and reacted to it, expressing dismay on her retirement

JAV veteran Yui Hatano tweeted, "Moepyon will always be cute and smile when we meet. I'll miss you, but I hope you'll be able to run through the rest of your activities as "Angel Moe" in a wonderful and cute way...! I'll always support you, Moepyon, no matter what."

Marina Shiraishi took to her Twitter, "I'll spend the next 11 months pretending to be extremely strong. I can't live without Amatsuka"

Her close friend Ayaka Tomoda found herself astonished as she tweeted, "I respect Moepyon for everything, from her professionalism to her beauty, and I love how she always makes me feel at ease whenever we meet. I was really happy to work with her. But please don't push yourself too hard, take care of your health, and see it through to the end"

Everyone’s chiming in, from the big names to the up-and-comers. I wonder who’s gonna fill her shoes!?

But let’s take a quick breather from the doom and gloom and rewind to a few days back when Moe just turned 30 and hit her 10-year anniversary in JAV. Talk about a milestone! The 30 year old Faleno Exclusive celebrated her 10th debut anniversary as a JAV actress on July 7, 2024 as well as her 30th birthday on July 10, 2024. This July indeed is special for the actress.

FALENO, her studio, is throwing her a proper send-off with a special anniversary flick. Fourteen of her classics. Interestingly, this special anniversary JAV film not only contains a compilation of old films but FALENO also includes a new scene which is said to be Moe's 100th shooting!

So, while we’re all a mess about Moe’s retirement, let’s at least enjoy the last league of her career with this anniversary film. It’s coming out August 22nd, so mark your calendars. For now, let’s just soak in the shock and try to process this major loss.

You guys won’t believe but the legendary Naho Ozawa is BACK! After disappearing from the scene over a decade ago and later transitioned into running a bar with her friend Hayasaka Misaki, this JAV bombshell has decided to grace us with her presence once again. And let me tell you, she’s still got it!

Being not so fond of social media, the 41 year old made a couple of tweets on X about having something big to announce on her return. Well, the cat's out of the bag, and it’s bigger than we could have imagined. She is finally making a comeback to the industry that made her a legend.

Naho couldn't hold back from tweeting, "In fact, I have recently decided to make a comeback as an actress! Only 6 days left until the information is released"

Now, I know what you're thinking. 41? Isn't that a bit old for this game? Hell no! This woman is aging like fine wine. The pics that have been floating around? Pure fire. She's somehow managed to defy time and gravity, and I’m not even mad about it.

So, where's she gonna be plying her trade? To much surprise, it won’t be the mature film company Madonna nor the SOD Group. It’s none other than Faleno Star. Funny how FALENO didn’t even exist back when she left the industry. And while there's been some talk about her possibly joining the Faleno’s sub-label Dahlia in the future, let’s be honest, who cares? We just want to see Naho back in action.

I've managed to get my hands on some screen grabs from the new movie, and let me tell you, she looks incredible. The face? Flawless. The body? Still hot as hell. It’s like she’s been cryogenically frozen or something. To look like that, 6287 days after her complete retirement, wow!

But here’s the thing: while she’s still a knockout, something’s missing. The old Naho had a certain intensity, a raw desire that made her unforgettable. This new Naho, at least from what we’ve seen, seems a bit...tame. At least judging from the promotional video, I feel that she does not show the "adult lust" as advertised by the film company. Maybe it’s the pressure of the comeback, or maybe Faleno Star is trying to soften her image. It’s such a pity Whatever the case, I'm hoping this is just a taste of what's to come.

We're all dying to see the full movie, of course. Let’s hope it lives up to the hype. Because if Naho can pull this off, she’ll not only be making a comeback, she'll be redefining her career.

Okay, so, Riho Fujimori dropped a bomb on Twitter a couple of days back and took her fans by shock. Out of the blue, she’s talking about retirement! We’re talking about the same Riho Fujimori who’s got half the internet drooling, right? The one who can sell out a JAV in, like, two seconds flat? Yeah, that Riho Fujimori.

"Sometimes I think, It's time to retire.” Having said that, she made it worse by having banned responses and did not post any follow-up posts, I don't know whether she was speaking in frustration or not.

Now, we all know these retirement hints are often just a cry for attention or a way to drum up interest. But something’s definitely got her furious. My guess? Those damn face-swapping creeps.

Riho's been dealing with some serious identity theft on Instagram as she recently took to her Instagram story to talk about it, "He edits my photos without permission and makes them look like a different person! He's a mysterious person. He also edits videos uploaded by AV actresses on TikTok and posts them with just the face on the packaging of their work. And he has quite a few followers"

Apparently, these losers are stealing her pics, making deepfakes out of them, and then posting the fakes to fool people. And it’s not just her – other AV idols and internet hotties are getting the same treatment. It's like a sick game to these creeps.

In another story she wrote, "By the way, when I was with my previous agency, I reported him to Instagram but they said he didn't violate their terms and conditions, so they couldn't suspend the account. He inverted the image on the Prestige package and changed my face, and I've seen other things like that. He posts photos and videos of people other than porn actresses with their faces changed. Judging from his writing, I think the person behind it is probably an old man. I haven't been abused recently, so I've kept quiet, but it's really malicious. And it's scary that there are people who think this person is real and write comments and follow him lol. All of the photos have different breast sizes and belly button shapes, and different bone structures, so there's no way they're the same person."

Riho's been trying to fight back for years, she had complained about these face-swapping accounts when she was working for a brokerage company, but Instagram seems to be clueless or just doesn’t care. I mean, can you believe it? These fake accounts are clearly violating all sorts of rules, but Instagram’s like, "Nah, it’s cool." It's a total slap in the face to someone who’s worked hard to build a brand.

What made her even more discouraged was that some netizens thought that these face-changing photos were of real people. Then I interact with those accounts, obviously using various photos to change their faces. The size of the breasts, the shape of the navel and the body shape are all completely different.

I get where Riho’s coming from. People who work in JAV hate their hard work being plagiarised. It’s gotta be frustrating as hell to see your image being used without your permission, and even worse when people think it’s actually you. But let's be real, retirement? I don't buy it. Especially after she was practically begging to come back to Taiwan for another photoshoot. The girl loves her fans, and the fans love her.

I’m thinking this is more of a "wake-up call" to Instagram than anything else. Riho's not going anywhere, trust me. But if she doesn't get some support from the platform soon, who knows what could happen?

Another senior actress is in trouble! Okay, so, something’s seriously off with Konno Hikaru. The girl completed the tenth anniversary milestone of her debut last year and has been gracing our screens for a solid decade has just vanished into thin air. No updates on X since March, and every event she was supposed to be at has been canceled or rescheduled. I mean, c'mon, that's not normal. The event on May 21st was canceled, the event on May 25th was replaced, and the event on July 6th was postponed.

Her agency? Totally clueless. They're just throwing out vague "confirmations" without giving us any real info. It's like they're trying to hide something. And let's be honest, when someone starts disappearing like this, the only logical conclusion is the worst one.

Now, I get it. These girls have been through the ringer, and sometimes they just want to get out. But a simple retirement announcement isn’t rocket science. Hell, even Yuu Shinoda had the decency to disappear without a word. But at least we knew she was gone. But I still hope that Konno Hikaru can tell everyone if she doesn’t do it anymore.

This whole thing is just weird. Is Konno okay? Is she dealing with something personal? Or is this the start of a dramatic new storyline that’s gonna keep us guessing for months? Whatever it is, it’s got me hooked.

Alright now, let’s wrap up this column with Mika Horiuchi. You guys remember her, right? The former nurse turned social media influencer who promised to do a JAV if she hit 10k followers? (as per her debut JAV) Yeah, that one!

Well, she dropped a major announcement on her career. That's right, Mika's officially retired from JAV by the end of this month. And guess what? There’s quite a convincing reason behind it.

Now, we don't know how much of that 10k follower story is true. Maybe Ideapocket was just trying to drum up some hype for their latest catch. But one thing's for sure, since having debuted back in early 2021 Mika's career kinda plateaued after that initial burst of fame. After a few flicks with top JAV studios here & there in her initial days in the industry, her career has mostly remained stagnant as a freelancer and for Mika she was just picking up whatever gig came her way.

But that’s a thing of the past. Mika has made it quite clear with her recent announcement that she’ll no longer perform in JAV and is officially hitched. "The event on July 28th marked the end of my activities as "Mika Horiuchi." Also, I'm announcing this on a whim, but I got married! I live my life, and my husband lives his, and we've been attracted to each other because we respect each other. So I'll continue to live as myself. I hope everyone will follow me!"

Good for her! Finding love and leaving the industry behind is a pretty big deal. And let's be honest, the life of a JAV star isn't all glitz and glam. So, props to Mika for making a life change. In her statement she said, she entered JAV with the motive of making some bucks and now that she has found her man, she is ready to settle and move on from the adult industry as she tweeted "I entered the AV industry with a strong desire to "make a fortune and turn my life around!" Of course I lost some things, but I learned a lot and gained a lot of fortune, and it was an industry that changed my life greatly. I ran so hard that I felt like I had nothing left to do"

Her final event was held on July 28th, so let's give her a round of applause for that. We wish her all the best in her new chapter. And hey, maybe she'll drop by for a tell-all interview in a few years? We can always hope, right?
