1. Mao Hamasaki Celebrates 10th Anniversary In The Industry

It's one thing to last in the AV industry for a couple of years, however, it's a whole different ball game when it comes to hitting the ten-year milestone. That's a different breed of actors altogether and since JAV shoots are not like mainstream cinema, it gets more daunting over time. Credits to Mao Hamasaki for hitting it out of the ballpark with this particular one. The 28-year-old actress recently wrapped up shooting on her 10th-anniversary title and took to the SNS platform to give her admirers a sneak peek of the upcoming title. 

Earlier in the day, a studio insider by the alias 'maxgotoh', working with studio MAX, the same studio behind the production of the 10th-anniversary title broke the news first on Twitter

"Mao Hamasaki's 10th-anniversary work is open for reservation now.  It's a 215-minute masterpiece.  Moreover, it is a valuable work that you can see the facial expressions and play of Hamasaki Mao that you can not usually see.  I want you to see this ❗"

Later on, the studio followed up with the release announcement on Twitter 

"Anyway, the memorable 10th-anniversary work is  Love Love and you can enjoy the big tele ☺️ Hama-chan It's too cute and there is no doubt that it will go out of control! We are waiting for many reservations ✨"

The studio put up a tweet on May 9th, alongside a video message by the actress. In the half a minute video, the readers can witness Mao dressed up in a Jordan hoodie, looking seemingly cute, while she recorded a message for her fans in respect to the release of her anniversary work with MAX.

According to sources, this will anyway be a career-defining role for the actress, with strong sales expected for the upcoming film.

Meanwhile, the AV star retweeted the news with a heavy heart. Mao took a moment to recollect how far she'd come in her career since her debut, particularly in a dog-eat-dog industry where you either go hard or go home. The actress had some fond memories of the debut work appreciation party, held way back in 2012.

Furthermore, she mentioned in the tweet that to commemorate her anniversary work and completing ten wholesome years in the AV industry, there is a fan event scheduled for June 4th  in Akibahara. To make our readers aware, the event will be organized four days before the release of the anniversary work, so if you're reading this you'd probably not want to miss out. There might be some exciting giveaways and a signed copy of her work awaiting you.

The actress also hinted at a second part of the anniversary title being in the works. While we don't have the inside scoop on it yet, trust me when I say this, the team at ZENRA is as impatient as our fellow readers when it comes to expecting what the studio has in store for us fans.

XVSR-654 | Mao Hamasaki 10th Anniversary Work

Going by the 2 min trailer released by the studio, it kinda looks okay-ish not a profoundly plot-driven movie. Mao looks like the girl next door, while it has a few vanilla sex scenes not matching the vibe of a 10th-anniversary title or what even the studio is exaggerating it to be. But I guess, a certain fan base of the actress will dig it. 

MAX has scheduled the JAV release to be on 8th May and before that, as we mentioned earlier, there'd be a fan event held in Akihabara on May 4th. Details related to the event can be found on the actress's official Twitter, so don't forget to book your tickets in advance or you're certain to miss out.

2. Yuna Ogura Teases New AV With SOD

The 23-year-old AV sensation was gracious enough to provide a sneak preview of her unpublished work with her fans. Recently, this month the SOD star updated her Twitter with a couple of behind-the-scenes stills from her upcoming movie. In it, Yuna could be spotted donning a work uniform in white & blue stripes while striking cute poses for the camera. Matter of fact, what's even funnier is that zooming on one of the pics, Yuna can be seen flashing a prop identity card with the studio name, SOFTONDEMAND written as SOFTONDEMART. Nice wordplay by the studio's creative heads. From what I could make from the pictures the unreleased work is set inside a departmental store, does it remind you of certain JAVs sharing a similar plot?

When an acclaimed face like Yuna reveals such news about a release, the comment section usually goes crazy, and I saw something similar with this one. One admirer, or should I say "stalker," went so far as to verify the veracity of the shoot location by pinning a photo with the tweet. That is both inappropriate and exploitation of the performer's privacy, and we, as a platform, condemn such acts, even online.

Anyway, while I was scrolling through her Twitter feed, I noticed the actress advertising a line of her customized sex toys, which included a real-life replica of Yuna's private parts the platform. 3. Mai Tsubasa Catches A Game Of Baseball

We don't lie when we say that these AV actresses are quite professional when it comes to handling balls, pun intended. AV star Mai Tsubasa was recently caught relishing one of the games from the country's top-tier baseball league with her colleague over at her modeling agency.

​​​​To update the fans on the AV star's presence in the game, the Twitter admin over at the agency settled on a Twitter poll to identify the AV star in attendance, the fans were left to make wild assumptions. Soon after, the revelation tweet followed with a face reveal and you must've guessed it by now. Indeed, it was none other than the beloved Mai Tsubasa.

Quite notably, the 28-year-old actress was in the stands before the start of the innings. Must've had an off day from shooting JAV. Going by the pictures shared on the agency's Twitter handle, the actress was seen devouring a box of ramen noodles, while sporting a Stussy hoodie, paired with denim jeans and black tiptoe heels. I have got to admit, Tsubasa-chan surely knows how to watch a baseball game in style. Meanwhile, at the game, the actress barely took off her mask. Could have made the crowds go wild if they even had the slightest idea that there was an adult star in attendance.

Meanwhile, the AV actress was seen gushing over the much-acclaimed Marines pitcher Roki Sasaki who was on the field throwing a ball, while she recorded the whole rendezvous, as was seen on the studio's page. At the game, it was quite likely for her to cheer for the baseball sensation like many of the spectators in the stand.

Take cues on cheering from Mai Tsubasa, as the actress was seen cheering for the Marines pitcher in all her vigor.

Must admit, witnessing Mai having her little fan girl moment out there got me wondering whether she took a lesson or two on how to throw a ball from the Marines No. 17, after the game.

Oh, and did we mention how considerate the agency was? They made sure Tsubasa-chan didn't run out of battery while cheering from the stands. So, they took care of the hospitality part and had her a hotdog despite pulling her leg on the technical know-how of the games. Seems like the guys over at the agency don't take their baseball debates lightly.

Tsubasa-chan surely hit it out of the ballpark with this one. While the Marines struck a home run, the studio tweeted a clip of Mai enacting the customary fish and sushi move famous among the Marines fans while managing to look equally adorable with that celebration. 

On the work front, Mai recently featured in a deep body fluid special drama produced by S1 studio, released on May 6. The title has been garnering some real good reviews since its debut and was ranked 6th among the top 10 JAVs to release earlier this weekend, announced the studio via Twitter. 4. Minami Aizawa Inaugurates New Specialty Tofu Store

Later, after the event concluded one of the female fans of Minami took to the SNS platform to express gratitude towards the av star's hospitality

I agree with that since I found Minami's uniform from the launch event to be too kawaii. While she posted a series of pictures after the event concluded I couldn't stop myself from gushing at how cute she looked overall and coordinated with the theme of the outlet. Minami wore a white top and paired it with a matching grey apron and hat. My keen eye couldn't stop me from noticing the cute name badge that had her name on it, after all, isn't that my job? Furthermore, Minami posed for pictures with the outlet staff and also the items they'd to offer at the newly launched Shibuya store.

Before the store launch, Minami was assigned with a series of tweets inviting her fan base to grace the event as she had collaborated with the culinary minds at the specialty tofu brand. On behalf of the event, a set of tofu delicacies were introduced among the fans designed in unison with the AV star.

While on the professional front, the actress has quite astonishingly managed to keep it even, juggling between shooting AV and playing gigs around Tokyo. Recently, the actress secured her first gig as a DJ in Osaka while her upcoming AV release with IdeaPocket debuted number 1 in the JAV charts. Looks like Minami-san has it all figured out for the time being in this ruthless industry. 

5. Shoko Takahashi Turns A Year Older

Let's just say I saved the best for the last. Our darling Shoko-chan aka Shoko Takahashi just turned a year older, you might say close to 30 yet? We believe in keeping it under the wraps for the time being but what we can tell you though is that the actress who quite recently decided to part ways with the industry isn't showing any indications of slowing down. Having done her fair share in bidding goodbyes to the industry, the actress appears to be quietly transitioning into what might be a well-timed move to gravure. I'll go into more detail about that later in this piece but for now, let's just focus on the latest scoop. The 29-year-old actress just recently took to Twitter to express her gratitude towards the loyal fan base she had accumulated over the years. There was an outpouring of wishes on a special day.

Tweeted by Shoko on May 12, the tweet amassed over 12k likes and 600 plus retweets within hours, while simultaneously trending on the Japanese SNS platform for a while. The former gravure idol who bid farewell to the AV industry on the brink of her 6th anniversary might've repented for a while witnessing the plethora of well-wishers.

While the AV star might have made up her mind about calling it a day on her AV career, the affection from her admirers might not have made it feel so, on a special day

"I'll be 29 next month.  It's amazing ... Takashi.  Some people are so active even at the same age.  I was always doing my best just thinking that!  Thank you always.  I want to support the day when I can meet again somewhere" tweeted a keen admirer of the Shoko-chan

A myriad of well-wishers amassed over in the comments section, all wishing for their favorite AV idol to stay.
