Oppaira's August 2024 JAV Watchlist ft. Julia, miru, Tsukasa Aoi, and More

Hey guys, Oppaira here. Welcome to my August 2024 Watchlist. Without further ado here's the videos for this month.

Kana is struggling at work and stays late one night after giving a horrible report to her boss. When one of her coworkers helps her out the two end up tired at a love hotel to crash. One thing leads to another and the two fuck all night long.

Hotel videos can be somewhat mediocre but half the time that’s because the actress isn’t really into it. This one seems to have a spin of Kana being into it as she’s thankful for his help with her work. I actually do generally like these themes from Kana, she’s a pretty good performer and she can make a video like this work well enough to be enjoyable. Maybe I’m a bit sad none of it takes place at the office but I’ll hope Kana’s performance shines through enough for me to forget that. And ultimately I think Kana is the main reason I’m interested, forget everything else going on, Kana is lovely and I’m always excited to get to watch her.

Sayaka Nito plays a teacher who can’t help but get horny at school. When a student catches her she stops caring about being a teacher and can only think about her sexual urges.

Sayaka is an interesting actress. She’s certainly nice physically but also feels like a step down from the omega tits we have in actresses like Haru, Momoka, and now Yu Tano. At the same time her performing is very mixed, certainly a lot of moaning and weak expressions but a surprising amount of energy in her videos. I’m actually surprisingly interested in watching a video with a great theme, good content, and see if her performing style can pull it off. It looks like the right spin on the teacher theme to suit her performing mannerisms so we’ll see if she’s an actress worth keeping up with. I find this is generally true for newer actresses that you’ll find in the first year or so what their performing skills are and then find the thing they’re best at. Watch that and you can decide whether to keep up with them or not. Maybe that’s just something I have to content with because of how many actresses I need to watch, but either way I’m happy enough to watch it and we shall see how things go.

Ruka Inaba (Riri Haruka now) plays an office lady who fools around with her coworkers.

I saw the cover and went “okay yeah Ruka in an even better theme than last time” and then watched the trailer. Okay this looks like a nice theme and she’s dominant, what’s the catch. Oh, it’s Samoari. I’m very torn about this film and it took me a long time to decide whether I wanted to ultimately watch it. I mean I like Ruka and the theme but Samoari films are all over the place. Terrible camera angles on top of a theme that will also be all over the place as the trailer suggests. Ultimately I am still going to watch it and hope Samoari isn’t terrible, or at least my enjoyment of Ruka will offset it.

Mayuki Ito has an affair with the manager at the konbini.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, konbini themes are a crutch of mine. It’s just such a great theme because the visuals are really great, especially when they keep it at the store the entire time. Even if the video pulls away from the theme toward the end without the outfits and even if the intro seems a bit long, I’ll still take it any day of the week. It’s almost a surefire thing for me as long as I like the actress and even if Mayuki isn’t one of my absolute favourites I’m still going to watch it.

Your hot teacher is hot for you, what are you to do? You totally shouldn’t but then again Konan is super hot.

Teacher themes are great, Konan is great, what’s not to love? The video looks like it starts out very strong with a nice couple of scenes in school with the narrative and theme on full display. I feel like it downgrades a bit when it leaves the school but Konan seems to be lively and I have faith as Konan is one of the better performers at S1. I’ll happily take the great video here and enjoy being hot for teacher.

miru and Tsukasa Aoi both end up at an izakaya with a dude. Turns out he’s seemingly two-timing them and forgot he invited them both out at the same time. Rather than dump him and walk away or get into some sort of fight, the two decide to settle this in the bedroom by making him pick the better lady.

What a hot narrative, seriously S1 did a fantastic job. Usually we’re all lamenting the fact that their threesome videos are lame because the actresses will never interact. While that’s certainly true this one’s narrative changes a lot of that. Instead of me expecting one of them to be aloof and standing around they seem very engaged. I have great faith in miru doing this video justice, she certainly has the right skills for it. I’ll admit I’m not much of a Tsukasa fan but I’ve been toying with watching her a second time and I can hardly argue against one that looks this fun, and the two of them really do look to be having a good time the entire time. Yeah sure it’s a hotel film, I think the strengths will outshine the negatives. Here’s hoping!

Julia takes her hand at the neet genre.

Previously I said I wasn’t going to watch anymore and yet this month I have two of them. While Akari’s goes in a crazy direction, Julia’s looks like any old neet video. This is more so me just accepting how much I like Julia and how willing I am to watch most things from her. I mean last year I watched all 25 releases so it shouldn’t be all that surprising. I do expect to be a bit disappointed by it because the theme doesn’t seem like the kind for Julia but screw it, I like the actress and that’s what counts.

Akari plays a neet who gets turned on to the vast pleasures of sex, getting dominated and realizing she loves it a little wild.

I know before I said I wasn’t so sure about watching more neet stuff but holy hell does this look hot. It looks basically nothing like what we’ve seen in this genre and that’s why I’m more interested in it. You can see the wild Nao Masaki influence and at the end of the trailer you discover it is in fact directed by Nao. More evidence of why she is my favourite director with her turning the whole genre on its head. I know I kind of swore off of the genre but if you give me more stuff like this I’m game. I’ve seen some other Nao Masaki with this sort of feel without a real narrative and I can only say that I’m even more excited to see it with a narrative.

Kana’s friend Hana turns her on to the concept of online dating where she can just find a younger guy to mess around with. Looks like the eating is good because Kana finds someone who’s ready to keep up with her libido.

I’ve seen this before with other actresses, namely Ririko Kinoshita as the main one, and it was lovely. I’m not sure if I like Kana more than Ririko but Hana Himesaki as the secondary is absolutely fantastic and better than the Kana Morisawa in that other one. This series has quickly become one of my favourite Madonna series, the idea of the actress being this dominant and craving sex like that is hot. They also tend to have a fun semi-public scene like sex in a car or in this case a public washroom. And honestly at the end of the day it’s all about how upbeat and into it the actress is. Kana isn’t this upbeat generally so it’s nice to see her do it, and honestly I’ll probably happily watch every Madonna actress do this so long as I don’t mind the secondary actress (and in this case Hana is about as good as I could hope for).

Hibiki plays a tutor who loves fooling around with her students. When she finds out he’s hot for her too things get real wild between them.

Hibiki’s videos can be very hit or miss, not because of Hibiki but because she tends to do a lot of generic content these days. Gone are her wild days in the mid 2010s when she was everywhere and the industry was booming. It’s with great pleasure that I’m excited to get an opportunity like this. It’s not quite as crazy as her last incredible DAS film that I gave a 9.5 to but this one does still look great and DAS seems to be a good place for her. Watching her go wild with him looks hot as hell and I love the tutor theme. Has to be good, right?

Looks like a pretty solid month. I have somewhat high hopes for the miru & Tsukasa film as well as the Akari Mitani film, and if not we've got some favourites like Hibiki and Julia to fall back to. I'm hedging my bets in a few places like Samoari's film with Ruka not being ass or Sayaka being reasonable.
