Another month of JAV has come and gone. It was a somewhat quiet month but still saw some worthwhile releases. Kurea Hasumi had a new solo film in what feels like ages. We were treated to a juicy collab between Ai Sayama and Yuria Yoshine. And Julia hopped on the reverse bunny suit bandwagon with her newest film. Once again as always I'll give my overall thoughts on each film and end it with an overall score. Now let's kick this off with one of the most appetizing collabs in recent memory...

There's no denying that this is an amazing cover. Once again we have another 3P release. But is this one a disappointment like most recent films? Somewhat. The main premise revolves around these two actresses playing soapland girls. That's about it really. It's an extremely bland concept that doesn't offer up any unique scenarios and makes for a rather underwhelming experience. While the plot may be dull the action is at least enjoyable, for the most part. There are 4 scenes in all consisting of 3 threesome sex scenes and a paizuri scene. The latter scene is quite lackluster but the others fair well enough. Each actress gets an equal amount of screentime and the position variety is solid.

However, most of the cumshots here are 100% fake which is a huge bummer. Not only that but the pacing is incredibly bloated thanks to the typical soapland fluff. I find it extremely boring as it drags on and on. Now one saving grace is that the pair do interact a little bit which is appreciated. They occasionally grope and lather each other up. It's nothing major but a nice touch. Their chemistry together is good too. They make a great pairing overall and hopefully we get some more of them in the future. The rest of the production values aren't anything special with average soapland settings and appropriate lighting. Overall, it's an enjoyable 3P film but still leaves you wanting more with some missed potential for sure.

It's been quite a while since I've last seen a new Julia release. I just can't be bothered to keep up with her anymore but I can't deny how eye-catching this cover is. This one doesn't really feature much of an overall plot as the central focus revolves around tittyfucking and her reverse bunnygirl outfit. It's very basic and vanilla overall but that's not inherently a bad thing. It does feature a few minor themes for some scenes like femdom, massage, and hostess at least. The action overall isn't too bad for the most part. It consists of two sex scenes, two paizuri scenes, and one really lackluster solo masturbation scene that is a complete waste of time. The paizuri itself isn't too bad but a little underwhelming given Julia can't wrap up properly with her tits.

One issue though is that there's really not much real sex here at all as the two sex scenes only feature about 10 min of it each. That's egregious. Also, I can't quite tell for sure but I think the cumshots may all be fake which is a real bummer. Now one aspect I can praise is Julia's wardrobe. All the reverse bunny outfits are very sexy and suit her nicely. Performance-wise Julia isn't too bad really as she boasts nice enthusiasm and solid facial expressions. And lastly, the rest of the production values are fine but nothing memorable. The sets are varied *just* enough and the lighting and camerawork are fine. The film has a good "foundation" but the actual meat of the film, the action, is a big letdown. Not terrible but could've been much better.

"The Watch That Can Stop Time"

Time stop is one of my favorite genres so naturally, I had to check out this new film especially since it stars Hana Himesaki. The plot follows a man with a magic watch with the ability to freeze time. He uses it to take advantage of his hairdresser played by Hana of course. This leads to him groping, kissing, and eventually fucking her. It features all the basic timestop fluff that you'd expect which does admittedly bloat the runtime a bit. It's not too compelling either unless you're a huge fan of the genre itself. Now one of the most critical aspects of any timestop film is acting and Hana really knocks it out of the park. She manages to stifle her moans quite well while keeping herself very still. No change in facial expressions either.

You don't see her break character hardly ever here. All around she delivers one of the better timestop performances I've seen in recent times. Now sadly I can't offer up the same praise to the action. There are only 3 scenes in total consisting of some paizuri, a one-on-one sex scene, and a threesome. The sex scenes are relatively enjoyable but no real sex occurs until the 1 hr and 24 min mark which is terrible. As I mentioned earlier the pacing is very slow and you'll probably be skipping ahead a lot. Another issue is the lack of setting variety as every scene takes place in the same room. Overall, it's a fine timestop film with some solid sex scenes, great acting, and Hana looking stunning. But if you're not a fan of the genre, it's best to skip it.

Alice Kisaki has been one of my favorite new debuts for this year and I've been waiting for a film that incorporates some type of plot as her other videos were rather vanilla.  The plot revolves around a man who cannot resist his stepsister's titties. He enjoys snapping pictures of her until he can't help himself any longer and proceeds to grope her eventually leading to full-on sex. It's an okay premise. The setup is kinda silly and a bit dull but at least it's something. The biggest reason for it feeling dull is her underwhelming performance. I can't quite tell if she is supposed to act this way or not but she is seriously lacking any real enthusiasm. On top of that, her facial expressions are terrible too. Just an all-around extremely flat performance. 

The action fares better at least with 4 scenes consisting of 3 sex scenes and a paizuri scene. Overall the scenes are all great with just one minor nitpick being the pacing as a few scenes spend a little too much time on foreplay and oiling her up which kinda drags especially in the 2nd sex scene. Beyond that, the scenes are enjoyable with the best being the 2nd sex scene as it features them fucking while his friend is asleep just feet away. The production values are good at least. The lighting in particular is very nice and the camerawork is solid. But the settings are a little bland as they reuse the same room twice over. In the end, I still liked this film but her terrible performance really hampers it. Hopefully, she'll improve with more experience.

I wasn't feeling too hyped about this film initially but after giving it a shot, it may just be one of her best films ever. The plot centers around Maria having sex with supposedly amateur actors in a hotel room. The actor in the last scene is actually a pretty seasoned veteran so the setup doesn't hold much weight in that regard. It basically just boils down to Maria fucking a few guys senseless in a more intimate setting. It's very basic and straightforward. One of the most noteworthy aspects on display is her performance. I've never been that impressed by her acting but Maria delivers a superb performance here. There's never really a dull moment as she boasts exceptional energy and passion.

She engages well too and is rather relentless as in one scene after the guy cums she proceeds to milk his dick until he squirts. Just a brilliant performance all around. The action is just as great too featuring roughly 3 scenes in all. Now one negative is the prevalence of fake cum but as I've mentioned in other reviews it's common practice now in JAV so it's whatever. Otherwise, the sex is intense with a good variety of positions and lots of facesitting. And technically it's a well-produced film too. It's a bit slow-paced at times but it's not too egregious. The lighting is sublime going for a more subdued approach rather than some of the over-the-top lighting in her previous few films. It's definitely a must-watch for any avid Maria Nagai fan.

I've felt pretty lukewarm about Rara's past few releases but maybe this one will finally change that. Well spoiler alert, it's even worse. The plot, if you can call it that, centers around the themes of aphrodisiacs and sustaining from sex for a long period of time. It's all just an excuse for S1 to be as lazy as possible with their execution. It's extremely vanilla and is nearly 100% identical to a SSNI-777 which releases last year. Rara Anzai needs some sort of plot to work off of because otherwise, she is boring as hell if I'm being honest. This leads me to her performance which is as dull as ever sadly. She's incredibly whiny while boasting lackluster enthusiasm across the board.

I'm not expecting much to begin with but I'm still disappointed. It certainly doesn't help that the action is very underwhelming as well. There are just 3 scenes in all here with two being sex scenes and one being a painfully slow masturbation type scene that is just dreadful. It's so ridiculous and over the top with its overuse of vibrators. And the sex scenes don't fare any better as they're super bland and forgettable thanks to the nonsense premise. It doesn't help that the pacing is incredibly slow with all the teasing and foreplay. And topping it all off is some drab settings that only make the film even more monotonous. This is hands down one of her worst films in recent memory. An absolute dud in every single way.

I've been eagerly awaiting Karen's next film as she's been firmly on my radar since her previous release, MIAA-484. Does she continue to impress? Absolutely. The plot centers around Karen playing a spunky stepsister who tempts her older stepbrother into creampie sex. All this with a little dose of risk as they try to keep their cover from their parents. It makes for an entertaining setup and one that certainly caters to Karen as she's a perfect fit for this type of role. This leads me to her performance which is superb all around. Her energy is excellent along with boasting lewd facial expressions and boasting a real nice spunky attitude. This film is right up her alley and it shows.

Next up is the action which is a bit of a mixed bag. It features 4 scenes in all spread across a 2 and a half hour runtime consisting of 3 sex scenes and a blowjob scene. Now a few scenes incorporate risk such as in the last scene where they fuck in the kitchen with the parents in the living room. However, 2/3 sex scenes only feature cowgirl and there is some excessive fake cum here. The production values are decent at least with nice lighting and camerawork but the pacing is a little off. The middle sex scene could've easily been trimmed down to make room for another new scene instead. While it definitely has some issues I still greatly enjoyed this film and hope this is just the beginning of a great career from Karen.

Kurea Hasumi has been very quiet throughout 2021 especially compared to her output in 2020. She's had a few notable releases but nothing truly that memorable. I was excited to give this a shot but I ultimately came away feeling whelmed at best. There's really no central plot here as the main focus centers entirely around the idea of Kurea milking multiple cumshots out of the guys. It's a pretty forgettable setup but if nothing else it does cater to her strengths as a performer. This leads me to one of the better aspects of this film which is her acting. Her performance is exactly what you'd expect with superb enthusiasm and terrific engagement.

The action is also pretty great with 3 full sex scenes and a blowjob scene. The sex itself is excellent mainly thanks to the stellar position variety. Nearly every type of position is on display here and it really helps to keep the action from getting too stale. Now unfortunately there is a lot of fake cumshots here which kinda ruins the main premise. However, my biggest issue is the unremarkable production values. The camerawork for one feels really amateurish at times. The pacing can be a little drawn out too and the setting is just one hotel room which gets old fast. And the lighting is extremely dull and drab giving the film a washed-out appearance. It's an overall enjoyable film but really held back by its lackluster technical aspects.

I always love a "meta" JAV plot like this that features the actress literally just playing herself. The premise is exactly as the title states with Akari moving in next door and looking to run through the script for her next film with her neighbor. She then decides to practice some moves out on him and the rest is history as she proceeds to fuck him silly. It's a really fun and unique setup. With a plot like this, you really need a strong performance and Akari absolutely brings it. She is such a natural here. Her enthusiasm feels very genuine and her facial expressions are spot on. Not to mention she's super engaging as well. She's still one of the best performers around today.

All this would be for nothing if the action wasn't up to par and thankfully it is. In all, there are 3 full sex scenes and 2 blowjob scenes. Every scene is relatively enjoyable, even the blowjob ones thanks to her acting and the fact that she swallows his load. The sex scenes are brilliant too with amazing position variety and intensity. The fake creampies are a minor bummer but not a huge deal overall. Lastly, the production values are mostly good. My only complaint is the reused setting for two scenes but other than that it's solid. The lighting is fitting, the pacing is balanced and the camerawork is good. HMN-047 is definitely her best film of the year and absolutely worth watching for any Akari fan.

A whole Shiori Tsukada film devoted to titty fucking? Sign me up! That's pretty much all there is to this one as the central focus revolves entirely around her large tits and the act of paizuri. It's very vanilla across the board. So with that out of the way let's first go over the action since it's the main focus here. It consists solely of paizuri scenes mixed in with some titty play scenes and just one sex scene at the very end. The paizuri scenes themselves are all satisfying for the most part thanks to a nice range of techniques used such as hands-free and blowzuri. The cumshots are all nice too and the sex scene is solid. But those titty play scenes are a complete waste and aren't really enjoyable at all.

This leads me to one aspect of the production values which is the pacing. Those scenes end up bloating the running time quite considerably. They're just pointless. Otherwise, the production values are fine. Her wardrobe is very nice at least showcasing her thick figure and large breasts. The lighting and camerawork both fare well enough too. Now how is her performance? Kinda hit-or-miss. During the paizuri scenes, she's mostly pretty good with great energy and facial expressions. But during the sex scene, she's rather mediocre leaving you feeling underwhelmed. If you want some sexy eye candy and paizuri then you can't go wrong here. But it doesn't offer up anything more than that really.
