Photoshop and JAV covers go together like peanut butter and jelly. Studios are always touching up covers in some way. Sometimes the changes are very minor such as tweaking their face a bit. While other times they'll blow up their chest to three times their natural proportion. Nothing is off limits with photoshop as everything can be enhanced including their chest, ass, hips, and even tongue. I'm here to highlight 10 of the more ridiculous photoshopped covers that I've come across. While discussing the cover I'll also detail the video and see if it's still worth a watch or not. And my list will be going from least to most egregious in terms of cover editing. Now without further ado, let's get started.

10. MIAA-591

Starring "Ruka Inaba" & "Misono Mizuhara"

"Easy Modest Girls With Glasses And Big Tits"

This particular series from Moodyz always goes extra heavy on the photoshopping. Although calling it a series may be a little bit of a stretch since this is just the second entry but alas. The photoshop job here is absurd all the same. To this cover's credit, they at least don't go too overboard and touch up their faces at least like some studios tend to do. But man they really went wild on enhancing their tits. Ruka Inaba is the main standout as they're about twice their normal size. At least with Misono her chest was already huge so they didn't have to do as much with them. The back cover is pretty light on the editing at least. And the photopping doesn't look awful or anything. Just very over the top.

How does the video fare? It's pretty solid. The pair here play office ladies who end up taking a job offer and have sex with this guy all day and night. I may have missed a detail here and there but that's all you need to know. You're mostly gonna watch this for some juicy eyecandy and the film delivers in that regard. While the chemistry between them isn't anything too special they look amazing together. The production values are nice across the board with adequate lighting and camerawork that serve to highlight their curves. The action is mostly enjoyable with a few nice threesome sex scenes although the filler scenes are a little forgettable due to the fake cumshots. All around still a good watch if you want to enjoy some big titties.

9. AVSA-188

Starring "Hana Himesaki"

"SUPER FISHEYE FETISHISM Intense And Exciting Close-up Shots. Lewd Cosplay On A Lustful Body"

This particular series always features some ridiculously overly shopped covers which shouldn't be too surprising given the title. At the very least I respect them for delivering on their promise and not holding back as they feature lots and lots of fisheye lens. Anyway, this cover is if nothing else very eye-catching. Hana in a bright pink swimsuit makes for some nice eyecandy at least. However, they went a tad overboard on embellishing her features. They made her boobs twice as big really and expanded her hips just as much. Her proportions on this cover look almost cartoonish. The shopping on the back cover isn't too bad at least.

How does the video fare? It's pretty satisfying for what it is. It delivers precisely what you expect: plenty of close-up shots of her titties and ass. There's really no central plot to speak of as it's pretty vanilla overall. It consists of two sex scenes and two masturbation scenes. Those latter scenes are pretty forgettable besides a few nice eyecandy shots but the sex scenes at least are enjoyable. Hana delivers a fine performance overall. Don't expect anything too crazy but she does get the job done. Beyond that the lighting all around is solid and her wardrobe is great but the pacing is a bit unbalanced. All around AVSA-188 provides lots of nice eyecandy and some solid sex scenes. It's very simple overall but does deliver on its setup.

8. JUNY-032

Starring "Rio Ohara"

Fitch loves to enhance an actress's proportions on its covers and while this one may not be the most egregious, it still deserves a shoutout as they touched up every aspect of her figure. It's understandable given that she's a new debut and you want to make the best first impression. But you'll definitely feel bamboozled here. For starters, they shopped her face a good bit and made her look much prettier than in reality. But worst of all is the shopping of her body. They enhance her chest a little bit but they worked wonders on her lower half. Her ass, thighs, and legs look insane. She's nowhere near that toned or well-shaped in reality.

How does the video fare? It's just your basic debut video, nothing special. Although this particular label from Fitch uses the fish eye lens all the time to really magnify her proportions. Other than that it's pretty standard fare consisting of three sex scenes, a paizuri scene, and an assjob scene. The production values are relatively lackluster with drab, samey lighting and gratuitous fish eye lens camerawork. Not to mention the settings are pretty bland as well. And of course, her performance is exactly what you'd expect from a debut actress. She's whiny, loud, and submissive. No surprise there really. Overall it's a very enticing cover but the end result doesn't come close to living up to it.

7. USBA-041

Starring "Mao Kurata"

"Reuniting With An Ex Boyfriend By Chance That Leads This Wife With Beautiful Tits To Get Embraced For Shameful Play That She Can't Help But Enjoy"

Oh, Mao Kurata. How I wish she would receive more mainstream work. It's a shame that right now she's relegated to just VR releases and shooting for lesser-known studios. She's still great and boasts one of the best asses in the business. But now let's talk about this cover. They really did go above and beyond with enhancing her bust here. Those are probably twice the size of her actual chest. In addition, they made them perfectly round and symmetrical. Not to mention the touched-up nipples too. They didn't go too overboard with the back at least and ignoring the front, it's a solid cover overall. It's certainly not the most egregious photoshop on this list when it comes to tits but it's still wild.

How does the video fare? It's a waste of time. The plot centers around Mao playing a cheating wife who has an affair with her ex-boyfriend. Not really a plot that I personally enjoy. The only real praise I can offer up is that her performance isn't too bad as she does a relatively fine job at playing a submissive housewife-type role. The action is very bland and mediocre consisting of just two sex scenes spread out over a runtime of two hours. Needless to say, the pacing is quite bloated and slow. The production values are also super uninspiring with just average results at best. If you enjoy this type of NTR plot you may get more enjoyment out of this one than I did. But even so, the film suffers from other major issues that hold it back.

6. BBTU-029

Starring "Nene Tanaka"

"Bombshell! Looking Down Her Shirt"

This particular label from Dogma is known to feature some gratuitous photoshopping on its cover but this one caught my eye above all the rest, for obvious reasons. To be honest, I still really dig this cover. Now yes of course they massively overshop her breasts to be about twice their size making them as big as her head. But beyond that, there's not too much other shopping here. None of the shots on the back cover are that touched up. Plus I really like the comic book style font used there. The color choice is nice too and fits together quite nicely. All in all, it's definitely over the top still but still a pretty great cover.

How does the video fare? Pretty well actually. There's not really much of a central plot to speak of here. It just consists of two sex scenes and a femdom pegging scene overall. That scene is probably my least favorite as it makes use of candle wax and clothespins which I'm not a fan of. But the sex scenes are brilliant with terrific position variety and intensity. And the production values are absolutely spot-on. The lighting is soft and highlights her assets very well on top of boasting superb camerawork that captures amazing full-body and close-up shots. The first sex scene is even shot entirely in POV which is always a plus. Couple this with a solid performance from Nene and you've got a real winner. It's definitely worth your time if you're a fan of hers.

5. KATU-081

Starring "Yuu Shinoda"

No physical aspect is safe from photoshopping on this cover. This is another studio notorious for its over-the-top editing. You can always rely on some absurd shopping when dealing with "Katsuo Butsusan" studio. First off we have the biggest elephant in the room which is her tits. They straight up magnified her chest to be like three times it's original size. Those things are Hitomi level, at least in the bottom right corner. They enhanced her hips too as we all know she's not that thick or curvy. In fact, it's quite the opposite as she's super skinny. The shots on the back cover are just as manipulated blowing up her tits and hips alike. They even shop her tongue too on the front cover for whatever reason.

How does the video fare? It's pretty forgettable for the most part. Yuu Shinoda plays a nympho housewife who seduces a male neighbor. Although to be fair the plot doesn't really play much of a factor overall. The action consists of four scenes which sounds nice but it's painfully underwhelming. One reason why is there's only one cumshot in the entire video. The other three scenes just kinda end without any real climax. It's bizarre and unsatisfying. The production values feel cheap too and feature a ton of fish eye to try and boost her figure. Which is another reason I'm not a fan of this is that Yuu looks super skinny here and it's very offputting personally. The girl needs some more weight on her pronto. Definitely a skip for me.

4. MUCH-110

Time to crank up the "booba" factor tenfold. If you like big titties then this cover will certainly grab your attention. The photoshop job on her chest is just ridiculously over the top. They straight up made her boobs twice the size of her head. Not to mention reshaping them along with shopping her nipples and areolas. The end result looks fine at least but it's still quite excessive. I do like the G-Cup text on her right boob though. It's a nice touch. At least the back cover is relatively untouched compared to the front. There's some minor work done on a few actresses but for the most part, it looks fine.

How does the video fare? Well, it's a bit hard to say because this is actually a compilation video consisting of many busty and thick actresses. There's really not much of an overall plot since it's just various scenes across a wide number of films. The scenes are all very similar focusing on their large assets and being quite submissive in nature. But as a whole, I didn't really enjoy this. I never mess with compilations personally but I suppose if you enjoy big tits and very juicy figures you may enjoy this one. But even then the production values feel remarkably cheap and the scenes are all very repetitive. You can find better content in this area that is executed much better from many other studios. It's not worth your time. 

3. VEO-050

Starring "Oe Mizuki"

Venus is notorious for some ridiculous photoshopping and that tradition is very present here. They always enhance an actress's "assets" on the cover and this one here is no different. But this one, in particular, caught my eye due to how egregious it is. Now I'll' admit she does have an ample-sized chest on her own but they went way overboard with the photoshopping to give her Hitomi-sized tits, hell even bigger than that. Just as bad is the shopping of her ass and thighs on the back cover. She doesn't look nearly that nice in reality. Venus really plays up her proportions to an absurd degree. Not to mention they of course touched up her face as well. All around she still doesn't look awful but is nowhere near as good as the cover indicates.

How does the video fare? It's pretty much the exact same scenario as an earlier entry on this list, JUNY-032. It's a super simple debut-type film that is pretty forgettable. Just like any debut film, there's a brief interview at the start before diving into the action which consists of two sex scenes and a paizuri scene. It's very vanilla all the way through and suffers from some pretty slow pacing. And as expected her performance is mediocre with nothing to really write home about. The same applies to the production values which are as straightforward as it gets for a debut film. This is easily one of Venu's biggest bamboozles I've seen in a while. The cover is complete bullshit designed to hook in the oppai lovers out there. It's a complete sham.

2. JYMA-016

Starring "Miina Wakatsuki"

This studio, "Tsukuzuku Onna Wa Tsurai Yo", always loves to photoshop the hell out of their covers. I honestly could've gone with any of their videos but ultimately chose this one so I could mainly watch an actress that I'm not super familiar with already. As I said this series ALWAYS goes over the top with their shopping and this one is no different. So first off we gotta talk about the most ridiculous shot which is the bottom left. Those would be insanely sized even for hentai. They're just comically huge. That full-body shot is crazy too as they not only enhanced her tits but really touched up her proportions, mainly her hips. The back cover blows up her tits a fair amount too but the front cover is still the main attention grabber.

How does the video fare? Ehh...it's mostly forgettable. If you've seen a film from this studio already then you probably know what to expect. The premise centers around Miina playing a cheating wife who has an affair with her husband's boss. It's really not my cup of tea honestly. And I'm also not a big fan of her either despite her having an ample chest. A reason for that may be her lackluster performance. Moving on to the action which consists of two sex scenes, a blowjob scene, and a paizuri scene. There are numerous fake cumshots here which makes those two non-sex scenes very unsatisfying. The sex scenes are fine at best. And as expected there's a ton of fish eye used here. Don't be fooled by the cover, it's a very mediocre film.

1. DOA-020

Now we all know Ruka does indeed have some fairly large assets but this cover goes to the extreme. It's definitely eye-catching I'll give it that but it's just false advertising. Yes that front cover does look nice I'll admit but it's waaay overdone. The front makes her tits look like the size of her head when in reality they're probably half that size. And of course, we gotta talk about that center-back cover shot because that is just ridiculous. Again they balloon her tits to twice their size and touch up her waist a bit to further emphasize those wild proportions. At least they didn't mess up her face all too much I suppose. It's still by far one of the most utterly ridiculously photoshopped covers.

How does the video fare? It's painfully bland and makes for one of my least favorite films I've seen all year. I'm not entirely sure what the exact premise is here but to be honest I really don't care. The video is so forgettable that it just doesn't matter. It features two sex scenes, two paizuri scenes, and a simulated sex scene that ends up being one of the dumbest scenes in any recent JAV film. It's just Ruka dry humping the air for about 20 minutes. I realize it's done sometimes so you the viewer can place yourselves in the scene but half the time it's not even shot in POV rendering it completely pointless. Couple this with some incredibly lackluster production values as well as a submissive performance and you've got a real dud of a video.
