Who's Going To Replace Taku Yoshimura?

With thousands of videos under his belt, Taku Yoshimura has already established himself as one of JAV's living legends.

However, in a Twitter post, he expressed some disappointments with a shooting session, and also gave observations about the direction that the JAV industry in heading towards:

"Ugh...💦 Today's shoot, after waiting for so long, ended up being cancelled in the end...😂 Well, in these times, we can't push ourselves too hard. It can't be helped💦 I have about 10 shoots in April🔞 It looks like there will be more VR productions and projects with younger actors from now on😌 I'll keep doing things my way, like Yoshimura Taku👍"

It seems like Taku-san is feeling a bit left out with the influx of younger actors and the growing market for VR which is particularly difficult to shoot.

He has a point. For someone who shoots multiple videos in a day, 10 videos in a month is rather low. And regular JAV viewers may have noticed that Taku's appearance in the latest videos have dwindled. We are also seeing more new faces, especially in debut works.

Of course, the guy deserves a bit of a break. After all, the guy is 53 years old. While there are certainly actors much older than him who are still up and going, we can't expect the guy to go at the pace he's currently going for much long. Someone must take his place.

Although you could argue that no one can replace this JAV legend, let's look at some of the active JAV actors who have some potential to proxy for him as he slows down.

For this article, we are going to use three simple concepts for comparison, LOOKS, TECHNIQUE, and VIBE. We're going to look at how similar these actors are to Taku in terms of the phsyical appearance, the way these actors act on the bed, and the vibe that they have. Obviously, all of these three, specially the last one, are going to be subjective.

For instance, in CAWD-518 with Sumire Kuramoto, he plays a dirty middle-aged man who likes fucking cute girls in his dump of an apartment. What struck me about his current performance is he seems leaning into a role comfortably.

Moreover, he plays with an erotic passion. While most actors are content with sticking their sticks into the actresses' holes, Masahiro-san is out to DEVOUR every inch of the actress. Like Taku, he tries to communicate with the actress, and endeavors to make every scene as intense and kinky as possible.

One work where his creepier side stands out is MIDV-704 with Yoru Tsugumo. Here, Masahiro-san looks at lot older and creepier, playing an otaku teacher.

Masahiro Ueda has some potential, especially if he chooses to grow a bit of a dad bod and starts to make faces like Taku. He already has the intensity, the vibe, and the kinks.

However, unlike Taku-san, Yuta has a lot more aggressive image. He is usually paired with smaller actresses to highlight his dominating frame, unlike Taku who is usually paired with beautiful actresses for being ugly (not that Yuta-san is a beautiful man himself). Yuta is best known for his evil, Yakuza-like aggression, and not so much for his nastiness.

Yuta-san is also not known as a good communicator, unlike Taku-san. The boy is the definition of ROUGH. He likes manhandling actresses, treating them like shit, and being an asshole. He'd fuck a woman without even speaking a word to them and proceed to demolish their holes with the aim to destroy. The guy is a monster.

His sadistic image is on full display in KAWD-932 with Koharu Suzuki, where he plays the main villain. Here he is an upperclassman who cucks Koharu's boyfriend. Yuta plays the bull's role pretty well, fucking Koharu on top like an animal.

Still, Yuta Imai is arguably less nasty and kinky than Taku. But he plays his own niche within the JAV industry, and he plays it well.

Ippei Nakata has the quintessential uncle face. But this guy is not just a creep. He knows how to take control

In CAWD-590 with Shidara Yui, for instance, Ippei plays another dirty old man who has a liking for knocking up his neighbors. He eventually grabs for himself a nice girl who he trains to be his personal cum dumpster.

However, the neighbors began to think that something suspicious is going on. One day, a group of concerned citizens, police, and media arrives at his home, looking to rescue the girl.

Unluckily for them, the girl has already fallen to Ippei's charms. So after insisting that there is nothing fishy going on, Shidara-chan becomes impressed with Ippei and gladly does the nastiest things for him.

The guy is nasty and certainly sleazy. However, Ippei doesn't have the intensity and passion that Taku brings. While he certainly brings the vibe, Ippei doesn't seem to be naturally kinky. His communication skills also doesn't seem at par with Taku-san. Nonetheless, he does have the potential if he works on his acting intensity.

So here are just three of the actors that I think have the potential to replace Taku Yoshimura. Nonetheless, I still believe that Taku-san is irreplaceable. There just ain't anyone like him, yet!
