We’ll start by advertising ourself so to speak. The man behind our blog ZENRA himself tweets from our official account. He shares choice snippets of new subtitled videos they have but also about breaking slash interesting news from the industry. A pretty good resource for English fans wanting to stay up to date on JAV news. He’ll also tweet out our blog entries from time to time.

@daikikato072 is an adult video director who tweets about their work. They have loads of behind the scenes footage and shenanigans. Most notably the production assistant holding a cup of lube picture, which never fails to shop up in the BTS filming pictures. If you are curious about what happens behind the camera then give his account a look. It’s full of candid pictures and information.

Kana Momonogi - @Kana_Momonogi

You could follow Kana because you are a fan of her stuff or you could follow her for the foodie goodness. Kana loves to eat or at least photograph food. From trendy dessert places to many ramen joints, Kana loves to post about food on her account. Niche snacks, homemade meals, and grocery market pick ups; she’s got them all. If you are a foodie or like Japanese food, then consider checking her account out. Though it might make you more hungry than anything else. Maria Nagai - @NAGAIMARIAA

Maria is an outlier in JAV in many ways and her social media game is no different. Closer to more western pornstar accounts, Maria skirts the explicit rules of Twitter to the limit. Her account is thirsty as fuck and tries it’s best to not get shut down by Twitter.

Karen Kaede - @KarenKaede_

I’m biased because of how pretty I think she is but Karen’s got some of the best photos of herself on Twitter. Just fantastic eye candy of her. She shares a lot of her glamour shoots and also the behind the scenes stuff. She is much more playful and charming on Twitter than some of her videos would suggest. Nobita from Japan

Nobita is a youtuber who covers many cultural topics and trends across Japan. From larger issues like marriage, work culture, racism, politics, entertainment, and more. But also about sex and sexuality. He has had numerous pieces on topics like porn, dating, and romance. His interviews with actors and actresses being the most relevant for JAV fans.

June Lovejoy with Love&Joy

She’s only been around for a short time but June has already built up a formidable YouTube channel. She’s very candid on it with her chatting section and even talking about things like getting plastic surgery. Her frankness extends to her interviews where she talks to not only notable actresses like Maria Nagai or Shiori Tsukada but beyond that. She’s spoken to a male actors, directors, a studio president, and even a gay host club member. One video even has her talking about getting plastic surgery in Japan and showing her before and after photos. A refreshing candid look from an actress. With her English speaking and subtitles, her channel is very friendly for the English speaking.

Yuu Shinoda -  Yuu Yoga

Okay enough interviews and interesting stories, let’s get to the best channel of the bunch with Yuu Shinoda. Yuu posts some other stuff but really it’s the yoga stuff you want to see. She has a whole series of extra horny yoga videos where she teaches you some poses and exercises. Sadly it seems she has removed a lot of her old yoga videos from Youtube (darn you Youtube demonetization) and moved some of them over to Fantia, a Japanese centric social media with premium membership tiers. Ai Uehara – Ai chan

Despite leaving JAV and erasing most of her catalog, Ai still works as an entertainer with a slight adult slant. Her channel is a variety show cover all sorts of stuff like food, cosplay beauty care, vacation destinations, and trendy product unboxings. She also checks in with the adult side with sex toy reviews, visiting AV headquarters, or chatting with her former colleagues. Recently she had a bath tub interview with Eimi Fukada.

Mahiro Tadai –  Empire Mahiro

June gives us a foreigner’s perspective in JAV and Mahiro gives us the native’s perspective. Like June, Mahiro has her own channel where she speaks candidly about her life and career as an AV actresses. From sex care, to dating, to even about her parents finding out about her job. Mahiro speaks on a range of personal issues. She’s also very cute and personable. Even as not a fan I was interested to hear about her experiences in the business. Many of her videos have English subtitles which makes it instantly accessible to us English fans.

Studio Channels SOD and Faleno

You can also check out the official studio YouTube channels. They have lots of interviews with actresses, promos of new debuts, and a look a look at the sets themselves. Recently SOD and Faleno collaborated for a fun little series of videos starring actresses from both sides playing sexy games.

Yume Nikaido

Yume is pretty active every where on social media. She’s got your standard Twitter and Instagram accounts but also posts video game streams on YouTube (whic is sadly now behind a paywall) and dance videos on Tiktok. But the most interesting account she has is her English lessons. This audio only series is made for her Japanese fans to learn a little bit of English. English fans could give it a listen to maybe learn some Japanese or just to hear her cute voice and damn fluent English.
