The movie I'll be discussing today is unlike what you'd usually see here. There's a reason for this--I'm a girl! Though don't fret if this isn't your cup of tea, I plan on discussing all kinds of JAV in the future. 

I feel I should elaborate a little further on the studio behind this movie. GIRL'S CH is the maker of this particular JAV. They're a branch off of SOD (Soft on Demand), and they make films targeted at women, similar to Silk Labo. The big difference between the two is that the former focuses more on novelty-sorta content (like this!) mixed in with the more traditional intimate stuff, whereas the latter is almost entirely focused on drama-type productions, love stories, and such. They're both good in their own ways, but this movie in particular is really something else.

​​​Ah, soaplands. They're a familiar theme in the JAV realm, what with beautiful women all lotioned up, rubbing men down, and ultimately partaking in enjoyable intimacy. Well, buckle up, because soaplands are no longer a boy's-only club! Rather than a beautiful woman soaping the viewer up or lotioning them down, at this soapland, it's a handsome man! None other than the wonderful Shota Kitano, at that. How does the overall experience fare? Read on to find out! 

Theme/Plot 

The overall theme of this movie is quite simple, and I'd say it's executed excellently. GIRL'S CH has a tendency to make rather novel films for women, and this one is no exception. From the first moment, I was immediately immersed in the soapland theme. I think it helps how utterly charming Shota is. This kind of movie just wouldn't work with a wooden actor. Thankfully, that's not the case here! His polite, courteous nature fits the overall vibe perfectly and especially adds to the sex. But more on that later. 

One thing I quite loved about the theme was the feeling of being spoiled by such a handsome man. I think a lot of women would agree with me (well, I'm not so sure they're reading this!) on that. Honestly, there were several points where I got so flustered that I blushed like a madwoman and had to avert my gaze from the shyness I felt. I should probably mention--though I will expand on this later--that this is filmed from the woman's POV. This gives a very different feel compared to if it were filmed via a third person POV, which is more the norm with women-targeted movies. One can't help but blush with the eye contact with the handsome, wonderful Shota. There is a kissing scene done in the third person POV, but otherwise it's pretty much entirely first person POV!  I honestly wish GIRL'S CH would make more films with this theme, maybe even make it a full-blown series. 

Sex/Action

When it comes to the sex in this JAV, it is varied, and it is all amazing. It's all shot in the woman's POV, so you get to see some pretty interesting action compared to how you'd see it in the male's POV or even a third person view. Of course there's cowgirl and missionary, but there's some other especially enticing shots, like a female-perspective footjob, boobjob, as well as some wonderful fingering action from Shota. Oh, and getting to see Shota's face as he's getting a blowjob (in addition to his body language) was especially enticing. I loved that both Shota and Anzu Hoshi, his costar, aren't afraid to be vocal, but neither take it too far either. Their moans are just perfect, and can I just say how nice it is to hear man moans like this? I mean, sure, there's a decent bit of man moaning in regular JAV too (and I love it dearly!), but there's something particularly special about getting to see his face as he moans; Shota isn't just a detached dick. In fact, there aren't really any shots at all that are just straight-up dick. Instead, everything is shot more with full-body style in mind, and it works really well here. I wish there was more of this style outside of "for women" JAV, but I understand they have different target audiences and that men very likely won't want to see a man moaning and whatnot. 

As a side note, Anzu Hoshi's body is gorgeous! I'm definitely going to take a peek into her filmography at some point.

The bath scene is probably my favorite scene in the entire movie, but honestly all of the sex is scorching hot; asking me to narrow down the sexiest moments is an unfair and challenging feat! If you wanna see sex from the woman's POV, this film does it superb and I cannot recommend it enough based on that alone. Also, as a side note, Shota's subservient attitude during sex is scorching hot. He isn't fully submissive per se, but I wouldn't call him dominant here, either. He's servicing you, and goddamn is it incredible. I find this attitude a breath of fresh air. Well, not only that, it keeps me coming back to this JAV, sexy action aside!

Production Quality

This isn't a cheap-looking movie. I wouldn't say it looks especially high-budget or as cinematic as something from, say, Attackers, but it's shot really well. The sets fit the theme perfectly; it feels like you're right in the soapland itself. Sure, Shota's acting helps bring that fantasy to life, but having a convincing set like this movie has certainly helps! The cinematograpy itself looks great too. The lighting isn't too harsh or bright, but not dim such that you can't see anything. It's well-balanced, and as a result the final product looks polished. 

I found the female POV was done extremely well here, too. I can't imagine it was the easiest thing to shoot compared to male POV, perhaps, but nothing stuck out as being poorly done in this regard. It feels natural. Also, I was so happy that this movie had a runtime equivalent to a male-oriented JAV! I feel that sometimes, for women JAV can be a bit lacking on the runtime side of things. Not this one! Every scene is paced well, and never overstays their welcome. It also doesn't leave me feeling unsatisfied. True story, one movie I own has a fifteen minute runtime. Fifteen minutes. Thankfully, this one isn't skimping on giving the desired viewing length, something I'm immensely grateful for! I will say though, I do wish there was maybe one more scene. Call it greedy, but a little extra action would've been the cherry on top! But it's already a really solid film as-is, so that's a very, very minor nitpick.

Overall Satisfaction

I cannot state enough how truly refreshing it is to have a movie made for women that doesn't center on a relationship or romance. Sure, the sex on display here is rather intimate and fairly gentle, but it's not in a romantic context. There's just something so hot about that! Add the handsome Shota Kitano to the mix and it's a recipe for a truly yummy time. If you're curious about seeing things from a woman's POV, this is a solid choice! Well, that, or if you find Shota as handsome as I do. You're absolutely in for a treat, in that case! The scenes flow well, the sex is varied and so very steamy, the actor is a real looker... I could go on and on about how much I adore this movie. I am more than satisfied with it, and I hope to see GIRL'S CH continue to innovate the "for women" category of porn. As far as I'm concerned, they reign supreme.
