JAV Stars Best of Twitter 2020

Published : December 24th, 2020 Written by Mangochin

With the year coming to a close, it’s time to look back on what has come on twitter, from the cute, to the bizarre. Thanks to the help of writers at ZENRA, I’ve compiled a list of tweets for everyone to enjoy, from cute and sexy content, to just outright bizarre. While twitter accounts are generally managed by the actresses’ agencies, that doesn’t take away from the clips themselves.

Let's get into it!

So first off, we've picked some tweets that are interesting for various reasons, but not worthy about being talked about in large detail. Then we'll talk about a few career movement choices paired with twitter posts, followed by noteworthy posts.

Nothing says a Kurea post, more than a tweet of McDonalds

Nanami Kawakami showing her non-glamorous side

Aika Yamagishi being cute as always

Suzu featured in a magazine selling Toy Guns.

What’s a lookback on 2020 without some reminders of the existence of COVID? Here’s a post from Nao Jinguji reminding everyone (in English) to stay safe.

Don’t touch your face everyone :)

While most actress movements have already been covered, we thought it'd be interesting to highlight a few of the actress movements that were interesting... to say the least. First up, being Kizuna Sakura. Kizuna Sakura announced on Twitter that she would be opening her own Ramen shop (franchise), amidst the COVID pandemic, and is using a crowdfunding website to help her get off the ground. She has also recieved support from actresses such as Hitomi and Yuma. Will she be able to survive with COVID ravaging the economy?

While we continue the trend of COVID, “Uber-Eats” as well as other delivery services which allow for people to remain at home, and campaigns by companies to entice people to stay at home and use their services, these images have been more frequented on Twitter. This has also tied into AV titles attempting to make allusions to delivery services. While there is no proof of actress deliveries, writers at ZENRA believe it is a marketing ploy.

Suzu Honjo has announced her participation in an internet broadcasting station, SkyCladde. The program will involve her talking with other people in a sauna, although I'm not sure about the details. What it does mean, is more exposure for Suzu and hopefully some good, fun content for fans.

Asides from the SOD actresses' work outside of AV, SOD created SODLand, which was reported earlier this year- a sort of "entertainment" park for adults... primarily with eyecandy and drinks. We chose to share these ones-

Asides from SODLAND, there has been several posts involving music, something which has occurred every year, but here's what took our interest.

Posted by a fan of Yuna, it’s not every day that you have kids dancing to TWICE music, and wishing Yuna a happy birthday. I wonder what content they’ve seen from her… Her YouTube videos?

Speaking of TWICE, Yuna isn’t the only actress who is a fan of the KPOP group. Akari Mitani, known for her ass, a protégé of Kurea Hasumi, and someone who can flaunt the moves; Mitani has posted several videos of her dancing to TWICE music on her Twitter. She has also danced in offline events, online events, after-parties, and of course- in some of her videos such as SDMU- 963.

Lap Dance anyone?

As a fan of music, it's not every day that we get to see actresses with musical talent... or just enjoying a hobby. Tsubomi, a long-time veteran in the industry, loved by many, is not only an amazing actress who has pioneered the industry, but is a great piano player as well. While she hasn’t added sound on her twitter clips, I certainly wouldn’t mind attending a concert with that outfit on… If you’re musically inclined, she also has a YouTube channel, where she posts her piano covers.

Going along the lines of music, Shoko Takahashi announced her plans of DJ-ing and pursuing playing guitar, combining a “sexy” angle to her music in order to draw people in. She had recently targeted the western audience w/ an AMA on Reddit, which seemed to be aimed at generating interest in not only her AV career, but her music career as well. Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned as "English was harder than expected".

Shoko's YouTube has more clips featuring more risqué outfits.

On the flip side, nothing screams fun more than two friends singing karaoke.

And speaking of fun, there's one actress who's bright smile is almost synonymous with her image... Yuna Ogura! While Yuna is probably most known for her works with Suzu Honjo, such as STARS-164, this tweet just reminds me of the joys of youth.

Fortunately, you can see Yuna's smiling in other works such as STARS-147, which I recommend for everyone to watch!

Now, my favorite Twitter account of 2020 goes to Hibiki Otsuki! Hibiki connects with fans by sharing a lot of posts from both AV and non-AV content. While many actresses follow suit, Hibiki's cute clips are unparalleled in quality and quantity to others. Here are two tweets she posted, one talking about how her design was picked for a racing team- not something many can claim fame to, and a video with AV actress Arisa Hanyu. While there isn't an AV film related to this, as many of Hibiki's good clips occur from off-shoot meets, fans can view them co-starring in a lesbian film, CESD-778.

And the “BEST” tweet goes to…

Noa Eikawa!!!

For those who are unaware, Noa is an amazing actress under the agency of Life Promotion. While not an exclusive of a major studio, she is known for her cute face, and vibrant energy. Asides from her AV works, she is also a member of Ebisu Muscats, which is where this tweet comes from. In February, Ebisu Muscats held a fan vote to choose the 3 newest members of the musical group. In order to gain votes, actresses found their own ways of hyping everyone up and attempting to lobby votes. The standout on Twitter of all the potential members was Noa Eikawa.
Noa Eikawa had fashioned herself as “Udon girl” … and here’s why…

Sticking Udon noodles up her nose, and through the other side. Yup… you saw that right. While it is straight up disturbing, it is undoubtedly content. Disturbing, but genius.

Hope you enjoyed a look back on content on Twitter from 2020! Let's hope 2021 is just as good!

To be honest, this is what I like from these AV actress. They may "sex-worker", but doesn't mean they live only for that. I always love to see post from some of them enjoying their hobbies, buy what they like, or even do something goofy. Of course, they sometimes post something nasty to promote them as AV actress.I hope I can see many great things in their SNS at 2021.

What is going on in that SOD Land bar? She's doing cheers with people through tiny windows. Is it a magic mirror so they can see her but she can't see them? Is this separation due to COVID restrictions? What's it like on the other side?

One of the floors is like a silent bar with a view. That could be what you see. Honestly, I think SOD Land as it is now is not the best idea. Unless they continuously push big name JAV stars to show up, it's questionable how long it can last. If COVID didn't happen, making a SOD Land but pushing it hard on Chinese tourists would be a gold mine. They love JAV and are away from home so there's less stigma compared to regular Japanese people. With hostess clubs, you have some prestige and plausible deniability (you're just getting drinks with beautiful women). With SOD Land, you're walking into those doors explicitly because you like adult video.

SOD could be investing in China which will ruin their image
