Love 'em or hate 'em, JAV's male actors will always be part of the industry. Sure, there seems to be an increasing demand for POV and VR videos where the actor is merely a proxy for the audience. But you have to admit that part of JAV's charm is the Japanese's unlimited creativity. That includes the male actors, some of whom try to spice things up with a bit of personality or some tongue-in-cheek gimmick.

The following actors are not content with just standing around or swinging their hips. Most of them have been in the business long enough to merit a few trademark moves. A small disclaimer though: this is by no means an exhaustive list. We hope to expand our scope and feature more actors in the future, so stay tuned!

Taka Kato

Let's rewind a bit and look back at one of JAV’s male legends, Taka Kato. Despite being currently retired, he left a legacy in the JAV industry for his prolific output and cool ‘sex expert’ persona. Unlike most of his personalities who were only hired to cum on camera, he made a name for himself as someone who really knows what he is doing. 

Making women squirt

These days, squirting has not that much of a novelty. One can easily read articles about the matter or watch some porn to see some practical demonstration. But way back, there was no internet. For most men, information about sex is hard to come by, and even the most experienced men may be shocked by the fact that women can actually squirt.

Enter Taka Kato, the master of the art of female ejaculation. Some claim he invented the genre which has since been called shiofuki in Japanese. Maybe today that does not sound like such a huge thing. But taken within context, Taka Kato’s skills can be considered almost legendary. During his post, his fans religiously follow his videos to know more about this thing called squirting. His skills became so famous that JAV studios made series centered around his mythical “hands of God”. 

Here he is working on Maria Ozawa on DDT-456, a commemoration video dedicated to his retirement. Below that is an older clip with Yuka Matsushita on MDYD-443 from the series “Hot MILFS Getting Tied Up By Taka Kato.”

Taku Yoshimura

Regardless of your opinion on his physical appearance or performance, there is not doubt that Taku Yoshimura is already a living legend in JAV. Known for his slob persona and generally despicable sex moves, he is by now a walking porn institution. Most actresses in the business have to do it with him at least once in their careers. And with more than 20 years and counting under his belt, he has developed more than a few signature moves. 

Spitting into actress' mouths

Spitting action is fairly common in JAV, but perhaps no one has owned it up as much as Taku. Everyone from retired legends such as Mihiro to newcomers such as Amiri Saitou have received and swallowed Taku's generous mouth fluids. Getting spit on by Taku has almost become a rite of passage among rookies. Who wouldn't want to receive a nasty slob of spit from his fat, kissable lips? Lol. Here he's dropping a load on Remu Suzumori in ABP-933 and Arina Hashimoto on SSNI-305.

"The Yoshimura"

Another move that we have come to associate with Taku is this legs up straight fucking move which is apparently called "the Yoshimura." Basically, Taku fucks the actress from the top, raises her legs straight into the air, fucking her while sucking on her toes. We’re not really sure why he does it, but it is certainly a unique move. It also looks extra sweet when he does it with leggier actresses such as Nao Wakana or Amiri Saitou.  He also does some variations of it where he fucks the actress from below.

Take your time with this screenshot of Taku doing Suzu Takachiho in SNIS-583, one of the best examples of this interesting move. Below that is him doing the same manuoever in one of Mahiro Tadai's first releases, STAR-941.

Ozawa Tōru

Sporting a manly jaw and a mature demeanor, Ozawa Tōru is best known for his drama roles. Aside from his quintessential uncle face, his acting chops keeps him in the business.  

Kissing

While he has proven himself as proficient in more than a few fronts, Ozawa Tōru made a name for his kissing technique. While most other male JAV actors try to stuff as much tongue into the actress as soon as they get their hands on them,Tōru knows exactly when to use it. He kisses with passion and a romantic flair. He can also get aggressive without being too gross.

Below is him kissing Aika Yumeno. After that he is with Kanon Urara in MVSD-425 where he gets to fuck her all by himself all throughout the entire 117 minutes.

Genjin Moribayashi

Genjin Moribayashi is THE jav stud. Every time he appears in any JAV, you know you’re going to see some vigorous fucking. 

Unlike in Western porn where most actors are jacked dudes, JAV is focused on the female talent. That also explains why there are a lot ugly dudes with questionable coital skills in the business. Genjin is among the exception as he is hired not for his looks but for way of fucking. He also packs a sizable dick unlike the similarly jacked Shimiken.

Animalistic fucking

He doesn’t have a particular sex move, but Genjin Moribayashi has a particular stage presence. Here he is in SERO-390, a film dedicated entirely to him. He got to fuck 10 women at the same time, a crew that includes Kurea Kasumi, Yu Shinoda, Arisa Hanyu, to name a few. The other photo is a Mixed Bodily Fluids title with Miura Sakura on SNIS-983.

There are other actors known for their savage fucking skills such as Yeah Takashima, but Genjin seems to be on top at the moment.

Sugiura Bokki

Another ojisan-type who sports the same perverted uncle face as Taku, many Bokki is also one of JAV’s male ambassadors, for better or for worse. He is best known for his creepy smile, nasty antics, and that hideous bald forehead.

Getting his forehead licked

We have never imagined a bald spot to be an erogenous zone, but apparently for Sugiura Bokki, it is. This dude likes compelling actresses to lick his forehead for some reason. It’s probably for comedy or some weird fetish, but perhaps the move is meant to boost the morale of the older audiences.

Bokki got to do it with Arina Hashimoto more than a few times. Here in SNIS-716, Arina-chan blesses Bokki with some tongue lovin'. Below that is Tia in one of her nastiest titles ever, her tongue grazing the baldy's head in SNIS-217.

Pierre Ken

Pierre Ken's villain-like full-bald makes him look menacing enough. And yes, this guy is a straight-up villain. Despite his amicable smiles, this guy is a total sadist. Like most AV actors, Pierre Ken started as a 'juiceman' for bukkake videos around 2006 before rising up the ladder and performing in deep-throat oriented videos, such as WANZ-797 starring Tsubomi. In recent years, he is often featured in deep-throat titles such as in AV Open’s Throat Fuck Creampie series and other hardcore AVs.
